Limo, AVOID this company. I thought using this local service might be a good way to support the little guy. Upon inquiry, turns out the drivers can only expect a 35% take if the fare, whereas Uber drivers claim 50% of fare. This alone is reason for me to continue using Uber, as I should have done. My ride was from LGA to Chelsea. I boarded the car around 10 AM. The receipt lists the transaction time as 7:55 AM (another red flag). After crossing the bridge into Manhattan, the ride had thus far lasted almost 40 minutes, I asked Miguel, my driver where the fare was- he said $85. Less than 20 minutes later, I again inquired, and fare had surpassed $125. I ended up having Miguel pull over and opting to walk 4 blocks rather than remain trapped in this cash grab operation. When I asked about the final fare, I was shown an amount of $132. When my card was run, and I was asked to verify & sign to approve, amount was $147. Miguel says "it's sales tax". I can imagine had there been any complaint on my part, my lui would have been taken for ransom. Lesson learned. Stick with Uber...For transparency of pricing, for the invisible hand of the economy giving drivers better pay, for the feeling of always being in control as a customer. After this experience, It isn't surprising the company has resorted to fleecing unsuspecting airport arrivals. New York has mainly succeeded in leaving behind the image of predatory business practices of the past. Not so with this Long Island car service. Sad. Less than

It was like hanging up the phone and service at your door. The driver was professional and courteous, yet neither rude or gave my family a rude scowl look. However, the driver took the long route via Rockaway Boulevard passing local business of Junior High School 226; South Ozone Park Queens library; Home Depot; and the well-known Queens' Aqueduct Racetrack; and Aqueduct Flea Market rather than Crossbay Boulevard. This route is the long-haul scenic route for travelers will be embedded in traffic pressed for time. Traveling Crossbay Boulevard towards Belt Parkway West and hop on Van Wyck Expressway to New York City's JFK Airport is surely the most direct route.

The dispatcher told me the wait would be about twenty minutes. I thought that was reasonable for a holiday, and said it was fine. After forty minutes, I called back, and this time, spoke with a woman. I politely explained that I had called forty minutes ago, was told I would have a car in twenty minutes, and was just checking in. (I was not in a huge hurry - I was with my kids. So, I was pleasant about the wait.) She said that they were very short-handed and the other dispatcher had taken out a car to pick me up, and he would be there shortly. Another twenty minutes passed..... I was getting tired, so I called again. This time, when I asked about the car's anticipated arrival, the woman got very nasty with me. She said, "I called you." I was baffled. I said, "No, I called you about twenty minutes ago. You said the car would be a few more minutes. I've been waiting an hour now." She repeated, "I called you. The call was voided!" I told her that I had never gotten a call from her, and SHE got nastier with ME! She asked if I still wanted a car, and at that point, I was beyond confused, so I told her I was done waiting and would call someone else. Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me. I have never dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional. I have no idea how they stay in business with someone so unorganized and nasty answering the phones.

They do this so they can blame you when it is the wrong address. I was charged 60$ for a mistake the driver made. The last time this happened, the driver threatened to call the police for not paying the amount and charging me. Clearly, they cannot charge me and police should have been called. On Saturday, they did it again and now Big Q says, I should not have paid them. They are no longer my go-to. The lack of regard for customers. I had a wake and almost missed it because driver went down Atlantic Ave towards downtown brooklyn and then turned around back to Woodhaven to head to Manhattan. 1.5 hours for a 20 min drive. {end of Atlantic Ave you can catch the BQE to Williamsburg). HORRIBLE. They don't need our business. They don't care about how they treat customers. 10 years and for nothing. I am now only using Uber.
