After placing a phone order for a cab as means of conveyance, our cab was waiting promptly arrive outside of our house within ten minutes. Whoa! It was like hanging up the phone and service at your door. The driver was professional and courteous, yet neither rude or gave my family a rude scowl look. However, the driver took the long route via Rockaway Boulevard passing local business of Junior High School 226; South Ozone Park Queens library; Home Depot; and the well-known Queens' Aqueduct Racetrack; and Aqueduct Flea Market rather than Crossbay Boulevard. This route is the long-haul scenic route for travelers will be embedded in traffic pressed for time. Traveling Crossbay Boulevard towards Belt Parkway West and hop on Van Wyck Expressway to New York City's JFK Airport is surely the most direct route. read more

If I could leave ZERO stars, I certainly would! Last night - Easter Sunday - I called Blue Lane at about 10:00 p.m. from my son and daughter-in-law's home in Howard Beach, and ordered a car to take me home to Forest Hills. The dispatcher told me the wait would be about twenty minutes. I thought that was reasonable for a holiday, and said it was fine. After forty minutes, I called back, and this time, spoke with a woman. I politely explained that I had called forty minutes ago, was told I would have a car in twenty minutes, and was just checking in. (I was not in a huge hurry - I was with my kids. So, I was pleasant about the wait.) She said that they were very short-handed and the other dispatcher had taken out a car to pick me up, and he would be there shortly. Another twenty minutes passed..... I was getting tired, so I called again. This time, when I asked about the car's anticipated arrival, the woman got very nasty with me. She said, "I called you." I was baffled. I said, "No, I called you about twenty minutes ago. You said the car would be a few more minutes. I've been waiting an hour now." She repeated, "I called you. The call was voided!" I told her that I had never gotten a call from her, and SHE got nastier with ME! She asked if I still wanted a car, and at that point, I was beyond confused, so I told her I was done waiting and would call someone else. Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me. I have never dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional. I have no idea how they stay in business with someone so unorganized and nasty answering the phones. read more

I wouldn't call this company because the drivers don't care who they disturb. They rather sit in their cars honking their horns rather than ringing the bells of their pickups. Honk, for more than 20 minutes. Just enough time to fall asleep again, then honk some more. Want to disturb all your neighbors and get them to hate you? Give them a call. Great car service, always late on calls, sends a driver that has a ritual of beating up the car and kicking the tires and resembles Marty Feldman AKA Picerillo. Has a night dispatcher that screams & hangs up the phone during the middle of a conversation. Wish I could give them no stars read more

awful, would give negative stars if possible. RUDE dispatcher - last time I called them and the driver blew a flat on the highway. He was so incensed - was yelling at ME as I stood at the side of the highway with my luggage - I was afraid he was going to beat me with his tire iron. When I called the dispatcher from the side of the road and said I need a cab, I have a flight to catch at LaGuardia they never got around to sending anyone and were rude to boot - A private cab guy stopped at the side of the rode and picked me up. I travel to Howard Beach 5 times plus a year and will NEVER use these guys again. Terrible. read more

So my friend decided to call Uber. Wrong choice. We called these guys after Uber was a no show. Pat the phone operator was polite, professional and totally on point. I was told ten minutes for the car and it showed up right on time. Driver was mellow and the ride was safe and pleasant. Overall Im more then satisfied. I will call again.... read more

Horrible service. I called at 7:45 for a cab to Manhattan,dispatcher told me 20 minutes. I waited almost 45 minutes & ended up calling another cab service. Blue lane cab actually showed up when I was waiting for the other cab service. I got into the car told him where I was okay & he called the dispatcher to check the price. He started arguing with him over how much the trip actually was. I was running late a I told him ill pay what he wanted but i had to go. He ignored me so I hopped out the car & waiting for the other cab service. Never call them again. read more

Called a cab to get picked up as soon as possible... We were told 15 minutes.. We waited 30... Guy finally shows up, and we're finally on the way to our destination now... The next thing you know we don't even get driven 3 blocks, this guy rams another car from behind and we get immediately left the cab. This was such a terrible experience and I recommend this service to no one. The dispatch seemed courteous but the service was terrible. read more

They're always on time, reasonable rates and all around nice guys. I'm a young girl, so I have to be careful who takes me home during the late hours I get out of work, so I always call Blue Lane. I've even called them to take me to JFK at 5am a day in advance. They came early, helped me with my bags. I would recommend them to anyone in the Queens area. read more

Without a doubt the worst car service on the planet. I had used them twice and they were late both times. My fault for giving them one last chance. I had to fly to Texas last summer & called them for a ride to the airport the next day. I actually gave a pickup time 30 minutes before I needed to leave so that even being late, they would still be on time. Pickup time came & no car. 15 minutes later, no car. 30 minutes later, still no car so I took my bag & got in my own car & left. Got a call on my cell 45 minutes after the pickup time. The driver said he was at my place. I told him I would be right down. I figured since this company treated me like crap I might as well have some fun. 10 minutes later the driver called again. I said just a few more minutes. At this point I was already at the airport. The driver called again & I told him I was already at the airport and I thanked him for showing up 45 minutes late. He started screaming & I hung up. I got a call from the dispatcher a few minutes later which I sent directly to voicemail. He left a message which I deleted without listening to it. Bottom line is if you use this company you should have your head examined. read more

I read the BAD reviews of blue lane car services and I did not believe until it happened to me. I has been using their car services for years, now recently has a bunch of new people who don't like to go to the airport or don't like to work. I called the car service two days before letting them know I need a taxi to airport. the date of my trip I went down stairs no elevator with my 3 luggage weight 50 pounds, waited in the lobby and also went outside to sidewalk, no car outside, and no show , I waiting 30 minutes, called the car services spoke with the driver stated he came but I was not outside, big lie I was waiting for over 30 minutes, he stated he will send second car, again no car, no show. I called blue lane he stated the car was outside and It is my fault . I did not see any car that said blue lane or at least blow the horns. called the blue lane car service and also crossbay car service the guy stated he is not sending any cars because they are same company and that I don't go down stairs when the drivers comes. THAT IS A BIG LIE, I DID NOT SEE ANY CAR THAT SAID BLUE LANE, I DID NOT HEAR ANY CAR BLOWING THE HORN AND FOR LAST I FEEL THAT THE DRIVE SIMPLE DONT LIKE TO GO TO THE AIPORT.
