He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation. I'd recommend him to any of my neighbors who may have similar issues.

Fearing the damage the gushing water might cause, we needed to get our gutters cleaned fast. Our neighbor had recently used Bubbles Gutter Cleaning, and said they did a great job ... so we immediately called them. Antonio promptly gave us a competitive bid and he scheduled the work this week, as we requested (before the rains return this weekend). He and his helper showed up early(!), did a terrific job, finished promptly, and cleaned up nicely. Per our request, Antonio also installed six downspout strainers to fend off those pesky leaves. He texted us nine helpful pics of the cleaned gutters, and he also reported (and texted a pic of) a vent pipe cover that has failed. Antonio agreed to come back when things are dry to do some minor gutter repair work if needed. Communications were consistently timely and effective via text messages. Bottom line: The quality, value, and timeliness of the work were excellent. Antonio (aka Tony) did a great job in every way. Two thumbs up. We had had three other companies visit and he stood out for his professionalism and knowledge - he was the only person who a) observed that our house was built in 1937 and b) explained its long and likely history of poor roof choices, which led to c) his plan for a new system that would help the old girl finally breathe as she was originally designed to do. We wound up putting off the project due to the pandemic, so had a lot of time to consider our options. We decided that along with Klam's quality came peace of mind, and so secured them this winter. The team came out and finished in two days; were awesome and frankly we are still shocked by how clean the site was after they left; they did a great job of clean-up! Also have to say we so appreciated Katie in the office; she is highly communicative and we had a clear idea of schedule thanks to her. PS, this alone is another plus for Klam; two of the other companies we'd looked at went totally silent after their visit and one became super pushy. Total professionals here. Which brings me to another key point - Klam was one of only two contractors (of the four we interviewed) who were honest about the condition and cost. Now, we knew going into it that we had FOUR layers of roof up there - literally decades of previous owners doing their own DYI patchwork fixes. Really interesting/disturbing to observe that two companies told us there were only two layers, and casually mentioned "more" would be charged "if" they discovered extra. Klam was the only company who said straight up, "There are four layers, and here is what it will cost." We of course opted for their clear, no surprises estimate. We went with Klam and they were able to get us on their schedule more quickly than we expected. The crew arrived on time and were all very nice. They kept the job site clean each day and spent a lot of time after they finished making sure they had picked everything up from the yard. The staff were very professional. The bid included pages of specs including links to the materials sites, etc. They are an approved installer of Malarkey Shingles, and as such, our roof is thereby covered by a warrantee. The company serves the Portland Oregon metro area and nearby communities. The roofers completed the project in less than a day, plus cleaned up and removed all debris.
