My toe after the gel pedicure

I went for a pedicure and manicure, very bad service , when I told them the was really bad , they just charge me , no sorry nothing . They said they look ok.

Nice, clean, basic manicure is only $17. Chemo makes it VERY necessary to get regular manicures.

My best friend recommended Greenhaven Nail Spa an I'm so glad that I gave them a try. They will now be a go to, when I need someone who takes walk-ins, without a long wait. I called ahead, because I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be there long. I was in and out in 45 minutes and VERY satisfied with the service received. Clean salon, safe Covid practices in place, good customer service, VERY nice selection of "regular" polish, and decent prices.

    crooked nails.

I came to look at the reviews and everyone was saying that it was so nice and good and I went and then I had gotten a full set and the lady told me that it was gonna be five dollars extra to get longer nails and I said OK so then I go to the bathroom and then I come back out and then another lady tells me that it's gonna be an extra $10 to get a longer nails so I'm like OK whatever that's fine and so halfway through the lady stops filing my nails and then she just buffs them tells me to wash my hands and then paint over it and they look really thick. I also have straight fingers so I know the nails being crooked is not my fault

A 20 minute pedicure from start to finish and an attitude when I asked her to help address the toe nails that were hurting?! I will never return and will make sure that I tell my friends the same.

They didn't push my cuticles back, cut my nails sideways smh

If I could give it 0 stars then I would. I came here today as a walk in for a pedicure and was automatically helped. The woman told me to choose my color and to sit in the chair. As Im grabbing the color wheel she tells me to sit down and put my feet in the water. She then helped another customer ( who apparently had an appointment at 2:30pm). I would of assumed another person would of helped me since she left me sitting in the chair and my feet soaking in the water. It has been 10 minutes since I was sitting down and someone finally helps me as I'm taking my feet out and about to leave. She asks me what's wrong and I inform her that my water is cold now from sitting there so long. Im already upset now from the lack of customer service.. I tell the nail tech that the colors next to me weren't mine(they were there from a previous customer) then the nail tech next to me interrupted me and said oh we know. I then said I was just letting her know since I didn't get to tell anyone which colors I picked. She also was using tiny square scrubbing files to do my pedicure that she grabbed from behind my chair. Then she rushed through and didn't push my cuticles back. When I go to pay, the original lady helped me once again and then told me sorry honey the last had an appointment. I go home to fucking find my nails were cut sideways! I wasted $21 and I'm never coming back here

    Gel manicure - paid $31

I wanted to get my nails done but I am guilty of being a procrastinator and doing things last minute so it was nice of them to allow walk ins and to do my nails pretty quickly but also get them done without any major flaws. I liked the nail tech that did my nails, I did not happen to catch her name but she was very friendly and did not push or try to persuade me to purchase more than I didn't want too. Gel manicure was $31. I would come back if I am in the area again.

Tracy (unfriendly) was the nail tech who did my daughter's nails for her graduation, which was the following day. Unfortunately Tracy must have been new. It took her over 1.5 hours to do my daughter's nails.. Her nails were a complete mess (french manicure not done right and paint missing in places) Nails put on crooked (4 of them).. They were so bad my 17 yr old cried when we walked out! We were charged $60.00 for her nails & 30.00 for pedi with Tina...Which Tina always does an amazing job... Once we got to the car and I saw how bad her nails were I took her back in side to talk to the owner.. Who wouldn't even look at me as I spoke...She kept her head down and continued to do the ladies nails she was working on. I then started to walk away and told her I'd be doing a review on our service and how rude she was to us! She told me to stop... Then told me the only thing she could do for me is to take my daughters nails off and then give us our money back!!! Another words...My daughter would have to sit another hour + to have them soaked off. The owner is completely unprofessional and rude & greedy!! I've been going to Greenhaven nails since the day they opened! I am so disappointed by how we were treated. I have always gone to Mega ..I will never step foot in this shop again.

If you want to relax and get a nice pedicure, this is NOT the place. The gal plucked and prodded at my toes so I couldn't let my guard down to relax. To top it off they don't offer TO GO Flip flops. We dried our nails for over 30 minutes and still got a crappy mess of a polish job. Save your coins, don't bother!

It is lifting off like peeling glue off something.

I have been coming to this place for years and in the beginning it was amazing. They are probably the cleanest nail place I have been to, which I appreciate because of the horror stories I have seen. But lately it is getting worse. My pedicures have come out crooked, as in my big toe nail slants downward and it has happened more than once. Now I try to pay better attention when they are doing it. The pedicures in general are getting shorter and the service is not great. Some of the girls are very sweet, but the overall tone of the place is not the most welcoming. The final straw for me was last week when I came in to get a mani/pedi before a trip. I paid $13 for the mani and it started chipping within 24 hours. NOTE* I bring in my own polish often and I use a salon brand every time. (OPI, China Glaze or Caption) I don't think the girl doing my mani got all the oil off my nails, hence the chipping and peeling. I sadly couldn't do anything about it since I was leaving on a plane 2 hours after the first Chip. I was gone for a week and by the time I got back, much of the nail polish was gone. I went in to see if they would do a polish change and Susan the owner immediately blamed it on my natural nail and the polish claiming that happens often. I explained I have never had that happen within 24 hours even when I do my own. I also explained that my toes were done with the same polish and they were still perfect. Granted while I was getting my mani done, the girl who was doing it had to go fix another mistake she had made when a client walked back in. The owner wouldn't budge and said she could take it off but implied I would need to pay for a polish change. I told her I would do it myself. She was rude...both in the way she spoke to me and her overall demeanor. I left frustrated. As someone who is in the beauty industry, sometimes it is necessary to go the extra mile with our customers to ensure their happiness. Sure some people will take advantage but when you aren't willing to even hear a customer out and you immediately make it their fault....that's not cool. It would have cost her nothing to do a polish change, especially with my own, but the customer service would have gone so so far. It's part of being a provider of good business. The pics are of the mani they did and the mani I re-did. Mine are now 36 hours later and no chipping. Granted my skills aren't as good, but still... As I read more of these reviews, I realize I am not alone In my frustrations. I really hope they start to read these reviews and get back to the quality they had when they first opened. I may come back...not sure.

Polish peeled off less than 24 hours later. Nails not filed.

Very very bad customer service and quality nails. Was told i could come at 6 for a pedicure and fill with my mom, but was so rushed from the moment i walked in the door that i was stressed the entire time. We even decided not to do pedicures, but i was still so rushed, i didnt even get to chose the paint color i wanted. To top it off, my nails already are breaking less than 24 hours after the appointment. I opted for a toe polish change. For $8, i was refused to get my toenails shaped or trimmed. It was required that i pay $3 more, if i wanted my toenails filed down 1 mm or trimmed with clippers. The polish i chose apparently was running low, so they put thinning liquid and used it anyways, instead of asking me to choose another color ...well guess what? It all peeled off 24 hours later. Now i have half my toes painted ...and they weren't filed down. I want a full refund. How do i do that at a nail salon? See photos

Rowena Nails is located inside of Simone Salon/Spa…read more I stopped by for a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady (Rowena) is a recent addition to this salon/spa, acting as the in-house manicurist/nail technician with her little business named "Rowena Nails." The place was pretty quiet when I dropped by. Greeted by 2 other ladies sitting down, waiting for their next hair client. I stated that I had a 12pm nail appointment and they called out to the back for a little Filipino lady, Rowena. The salon itself is a little plain/simple. Doesn't quite feel like it should be called a "spa." Anywho, Rowena was extremely friendly and welcoming. She only had a handful of options to choose from in terms of manis/pedis/gel but i guess that is a good thing because that should mean she's fabulous at her menu items. There are only two pedicure chairs and one was being sanitized from the look/faint scent of it. That is a plus! (You know those little "nail factories" just rinse their foot spas out because they don't have time to properly sanitize and soak the station - they need to get another customer in it right away! YUCK!!!) I began with the "Relaxing Lavender" pedicure. She soaked my feet in a lavender infused bath as she prepped her equipment. The smell is so relaxing! She was gentle and rough when she needed to be. Clipped and filed my toes; and did an amazing job at scrubbing my feet with the pumice stone!! She uses new nail files and pumice stones for each customer. Plus - she lets you take it home to bring back next time. But, who am I joking? I always forget to bring it back with me. She made sure to thoroughly scrub and actually feel my foot to see if there were any areas that needed extra scrubbing/smoothing. I wear a lot of flats to work and she went to town on my heels and sides of my heels. She definitely takes her time, so maybe opt for the express pedicure if you're crunched for time. She also did a lavender scrub/exfoliate on my feet and legs. She told me to not shave my legs before I do scrubs because a scrub (obviously) removes dead skin cells and by shaving your legs prior, the scrub can cause irritations due to the recent shave of hair/skin. So informative! She rinsed off the scrub then applied a cooling masque to my legs and feet. Rinsed off my feet/legs again. Lastly, she applied the lavender lotion to my legs and feet and gave me a great massage. Not like a heavy duty/deep tissue massage but the best I have ever received from a nail technician. She really takes her time to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I didn't feel rushed at all. Paraffin comes with the pedicures but I opted out because its summer time, there is no need for that additional step. She then, with a cotton ball rubbed a little acetone on my toes, which was to remove any oils/lotion on my toe nails to ensure proper nail polish stick-ing. Now, I am a super picky person. A perfectionist. The nail polish was applied to my toes and at first I was a little upset (in my head) because some of the polish got on my cuticle/skin. Rowena could tell that I was closely watching her and she reassured me she would take care of after all the polish had been applied. She sure did! She took the time and care to make sure the extra polish was removed and she made sure to ask me if I was happy with how it looked. I pointed out a few more spots and she happily cleaned it up for me. That is what I call amazing customer service!! I forget to mention, she even gives you a pair of the toe separators to take home because she does not re-use hers! PLUS! Lastly, I got the gel manicure. A lot of people don't know that gel polish/manicures are "dry" ones. Meaning, they don't soak your nails and they simply cut/file and push/trim cuticles because of the harsh gel that is essentially chemically glued onto your nail. Once again, Rowena took her time filing my nails to the specific length and shape that I mentioned I wanted. Always be vocal about what you want/don't want, never assume they can read your mind. Rowena is more than happy to do exactly what you ask. She didn't have a huge selection of gel colors yet - maybe 20-30? She did mention that she was new to the salon and was still in the process of receiving her products/orders. I choose a perfect tiffany-like-blue. Took 3 coats to get the color to a fabulous layer. She has 2 curing UV light machines so the process goes pretty fast. All in all, this was a great experience. Customer service is amazing. Quality of service is on point. I'll definitely be making this a regular spot.

The pedicure was so awful that I don't even want to show the end result because I am so embarrassed. It's been ONE day, and the gel polish is chipping off my toes already on top of the poorly painted job. Air bubbles, unevenness. Let's talk about the manicure. Tina, the new owner, did my nails. I had high expectations hence the reviews. It got busy, fast. She was rushing and helping other customers in between. Such as stopping in the middle of shaping my nails to go and clip & polish another customer's nails. The French tips are also poorly painted, the tips are uneven, and depending on the lighting you can see smears of white everywhere in her attempt to fix it without wiping it off complete and re-doing it. The shaping is also uneven. To top it off-- the nails are already budging at the cuticle, I'm sure these will fall off before a week. Lastly, I understand that the economy sucks and it's hard for small businesses. I don't appreciate the attempt to do a manicure and pedicure at the same time. The twisting and turning is uncomfortable, it's not relaxing, and you feel rushed.
