And I have generally been satisfied. Their folks come on time -- or offer to come early if they're ahead of schedule -- and are always pleasant and efficient. BUT they do one thing that drives me crazy: Instead of contacting the customer to schedule an appointment at a convenient time, their automated scheduler simply informs you that they're coming at X date and time. Because my schedule varies, that almost never works, and I have to waste my time contacting them to reschedule. When I complained about this once, they said, roughly, that they have to do it this way. No they don't. I've never encountered another business that operates this way and it's a constant source of frustration.

I questioned this after doing construction most of my life. Most houses are double walled, so I couldn't see the point, and called Bull! Well my opinion was they couldn't do it because it was a plantation house that poor people lived in, and they considered it to be a no pay account. My wife came home for the inspection, and the contract inspector that was to do the estimate judged her, and our house by what he saw. Again this is a plantation house, that we want to last a while. Unfortunately this company sends out inspectors who judge whether you can pay for their service, or not. After speaking to the inspector on the phone, It was clear he thought that our service wouldn't be paid for, and therefore he was not interested having his company waste their time on helping us, as obviously we wouldn't be able to pay. I think it is sad that a company like this that wants to help people with pest problems(termites), is so quick to judge their customers, and their worth by their residence, and their perceptions. I will not recommend this company to anyone, as Only God Can Judge.

Never had such good service, right from the first phone call. I highly recommend these folks for your termite inspections, fast, friendly and efficient... After that, the "technicians" would show up for 10-15 minutes to "treat" a WHOLE ACRE , as reported by my tenant . She said they would park in the driveway, scatter a few grains within 15 feet of the house, and leave, never walking onto the rest of the property where the ants really were ( and there are 2 houses here , mine was always neglected after the first visit ). I got ant chewed royally upon my return 6 weeks after I left in October 2020 !!! I had KFA scheduled for Nov. 5, and cancelled the treatment because I was coming home at that time and the tenant made me question whether $140 PER TREATMENT was worth it ( NOT !!!!!!!!). I called AND texted KFA, and THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE NOV. 5 TREATMENT I CANCELLED ! i HAVE FOUGHT THEM EVER SINCE TO GET THAT MONEY BACK, AND THEY "PROMISE" TO GET THEIR BOSS TO CALL. He NEVER has called me... Took up the issue with my card company, and now i feel I need to warn everyone else to AVOID THIS COMPANY.

KFA answered all my questions and within 2 days of the first treatment I stopped getting stung in the house. They have always been professional and thorough. I talked to the guys at the Hi Dept of Agriculture and several pest control companies. I got the most valuable info from KFA. They are passionate about controlling the Little Fire Ant They are busy because they're effective and because there are so many LFAs. If they can't get to you soon enough they'll tell you what to do and not to do to help deal with the infestation until they can treat.

Stop looking, Ed is your guy. We have been battling fire ants at our house for 2 years. We did…read moretraps, sprays, homeopathic remedies, and even tented our house. All our attempts would only give us a little break in the house. The dogs were still bringing them in from outside attached to fur, and our garden was a dad only zone. We finally decided to try a professional and I wish we had called Ed sooner. We had an 85% reduction if fire ants in 3 days! Now it's been 2 weeks and I can't even remember the last time I've seen one. Ed came and walked around checking the scope of our infestation. Now whenever I see a few of them trying to establish a home on our property, I just tell Ed and he makes them disappear. I couldn't be happier with his service, and he's very reliable. Plus, he's practically the only service on island in two years that hasn't charged us way more than a service was worth. Love this guy!
