The owner, Scott Dickinson, claims to be a Christian, but he does not walk the talk. He is abrasive, harsh, and unethical. The way they run IOP groups is so boring, and the curriculum looks like a 3rd grader wrote it. They believe the worst about the clients and all gossip with one another about people in the community. The office is in an old house, and the doors have large gaps underneath. With the hardwood floors, nothing is confidential. HIPAA is totally being violated! Do not support this organization. They hire trainees and pay them crap so they suck and the door is constantly revolving with new employees. They also have an office in Shelton. I would not go there either as Scott Dickinson, the horrible owner and supposed "Christian," owns that location as well.

In fact, i was told by a clinic employee "why would we answer these messages, we do not get paid for them " Their front administrative staff are some of the nasty and rude people i have ever met. God help you if you ask them a question, you will receive a rude comment in return. They can not get their records correct...oopps we gave you the incorrect medication now your dead !! It is about attending meetings to get a certificate of completion in order to avoid prison. The staff is not helpful. Staff lacks compassion and ability to help anyone. Before ABHS Chehalis, WA, my son attended the Spokane, WA ABHS facility and found it to be the same way. The staff is unhappy with huge turnover, lack of moral and caring. The clients are mistreated with cold uncaring inhumane treatment. The clients are merely an end to a means for the facility to make $$$. ABHS advertises as if they are a top notch facility, caring rehabilitative facility. DO NOT BE MISLED. BE AWARE.

I sought this on my own, no court or probation, just trying to save myself and family. In my second week of In-Patient treatment, I called home and it was obvious there was a decline in my wives faith. I opted to leave and go home to try and save my marriage. Days after my discharge I found that my wife had begun dating one of the staff members from Specialty Services II. They discussed meeting at the facility and recent events of my care. The staff member decided it would be fine for them to continue the relations. His actions completely wiped out any trust, Support, Community and health care treatment faith. it has also taken my marriage and family. I called and wrote the facility and have had little to no help in supporting my treatment, I was even told by the administrator,"Stop calling or well call the cops" I had called 4 times over 2 weeks to try to follow up. I tried a complaint through the State level, and due to the licensing of the staff and facility, the state declined my complaint At this point, The unlicensed staff and company is not, in their minds, responsible for the flagrant acts of its employees in opposition to even The American Behavioral Health Mission Statement or even the simple ethics violation of a client, his treatment, his family and simple moral values of a health care and facility.

She is kind and understanding. I recommended her to several of my co-workers and they all felt she did a great job counseling them for anxiety and depression as well. As with any counselor, the most important thing is that you feel you personally connect and click with them - for me personally, I could not recommend Margaret highly enough.
