The facility is beautiful, the waiting area is bright, clean, and serene. They have nice beverage options and the receptionist was very attentive. My masseuse came out and we discussed what sort of massage I'd like, I told her to focus on my neck and shoulders and to please use a very firm touch. She was kind and asked me about the heat of the blanket/bed a few times to be sure I was comfortable. For the first 20 minutes, she just stroked up and down my muscles with no pressure to 'warm them up'. Then she went gently around my arms, legs, glutes, hands, and feet. Then... it was over. I was SO disappointed she hadn't done as I'd requested. Then I looked at the clock and she'd ended ten minutes early! I think the location is nice. I wish they offered aromatherapy oil options and performed a better massage. I left feeling exactly the same level of stress and tightness I felt going in, just more disappointed and out money.

AVOID IF SENSITIVE TO SMELLS or air pollution or you don't like being belittled…read more I asked for a room without oil diffusing, because the place stinks and I felt ill from it. The nurse told me that nothing is diffusing but she is what smells because she slathers herself in some oil to disinfect. 1) I like nurses to use proper cleaning techniques 2) the response should have been that she will go wash off or try to wash off the oil. But no. That didn't happen. So I tried to fill out the paperwork but the smell was awful. Then a guy that works there came in and said that it smells great. I said no, it doesn't. He asked what's wrong with me that I don't think it smells good. I said it made me feel sick and my sinuses don't like it. He told the nurse they should "throw her in the sauna." What?! I'm not the problem and I don't need to be thrown anywhere. Your crazy overuse of a concentrated oil is making me ill! I tried to finish the paperwork but I couldn't thing clearly enough to do it. I had to leave. So now I feel awful AND I didn't get a b12 shot. I'm totally disappointed because I'd have liked to use some of their other services but I just felt sick and put down.

When I walked into the building I noticed a sign that directed you to take off your shoes and leave them downstairs by the front door. I took my shoes off but carried them up with me as I preferred to just keep them in my room as opposed to downstairs. If it was the wintertime I would have likely kept my shoes downstairs. It wasn't an issue. The entire space is clean and quiet. I was greeted by Sasha and directed to the room I would be in when I walked upstairs. We chatted a bit about how the session would go. I appreciate how Sasha took the time to review my intake form in advance. Thank you! Shortly into the massage Sasha asked how the pressure was but other than that I was treated to a very relaxing environment without any chatter. There was some classical music playing and I was asked if I wanted to add a scent to the oil - I chose eucalyptus. It was apparent that Sasha paid attention to areas that needed more work or were tighter than other spots. This wasn't a one-size fits all massage which is exactly I had hoped for. I was able to fully relax and felt less tense after. The foot scrub was at the end of the massage and it was a nice way to bring me back to reality before the end of the session. I especially enjoyed the hotel towel wraps. Overall I was very happy with my massage and glad that I tried out a new place. I plan to be a repeat customer!

The entry was standard and the receptionist kind as I took care of my paperwork. I did enjoy a free aroma for my birthday which was a nice surprise. My massage therapist lead me to my room and I admit I was a little unimpressed. It was a plain room with what reminded me of a travel/basic table and not one of the nicer more permanent/plush ones I've encountered at other massage spas. The bed was heated and there was nice relaxing music on. The massage itself wasn't bad, but I didn't leave overly impressed. I did ask for a firmer pressure and my massage therapist did adjust, but it wasn't as relaxing as my past experiences. Definitely a solid option and I'd give it another try in the future.
