It has been some time since I was going to this doctor so I hope she has changed her ethics. When I first went to her, she helped me find a wonderful physical therapy group. That was the good side. When I couldn't get any more therapy she lorded over me to take antidepressants, knowing the severe side effects I would have, rather than try to find a cause for my illness and help me get better. I became severely depressed, suicidal, and ended up for 6 months in a fetal position with absolutely no relief of my pain. When my other doctors found this out they told me to immediately get off the drug. When I went back to Dr. Greenawald I told her what the other doctors told me and she immediately became incensed and told me that if I wouldn't take the medication she prescribed then she wouldn't help me and I was dismissed. I thought neurologists were some of the elite medical doctors. One medical person told me they were the most intelligent. But if I know she is into kayaking and outdoor activities and making local headlines fighting with her neighbors or going to her class reunion and yet she couldn't tell me what was causing my infliction I question that statement and her ability as a doctor.
