I found this nursery online advertising that they had "small leaf Clusia" guttifera which is what I…read morewanted for my hedges. I came and purchased said Clusia, or so i thought. My landscaper informed me that what I had in fact purchased was Clusia Rosea, which is not what I wanted. This plant grows out of control and that is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I called them to see what they would be willing to do to correct this mistake, and was very rudely dismissed by the man in the phone saying they won't exchange anything and that "it wasn't going to happen." He said they only have one kind and the website was wrong. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your Clusia needs, because you will not be getting what you're expecting from this place.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Pontevedra Marble and Granite Solutions…read more This is a one-stop business for your marble or granite. They are not too big, or too small. We picked out our material from their on-site warehouse and had it installed in a matter of days. Our job was done quickly, professionally and with special attention to detail. Administration, staff, fabricators, and installers were pleasant and very good at what they do. All of this at a price that made us very happy. Now, our property was a challenge. We live in an upscale condo/hotel in downtown Miami (Brickell). Our unit is on an upper floor with difficult access and a busy loading dock that must be reserved and with no real ability to park a work truck. Needless to say, it is a pain for businesses and workers that must come to our building. We added a Winebar that required separate pieces and cuts to fit the installation. It was completed perfectly. We also had a blue stain in our white marble in our powder room (from the previous owner). You know, that blue stuff people put in their toilet to make the water pretty. Well, it leaked out and soaked into the pores of the beautiful white marble. Pontevedra was able to remove the stain 100%. We called several fabricators and are so happy that we found Pontevedra.

The place is run by Glenn Hilton and Lourdes Arnaez, a husband-and-wife team with over 35 years of experience in bonsai. Glenn, who is also the president of the Bonsai Society of Miami, brings a wealth of knowledge, and it's clear that both he and Lourdes are truly passionate about what they do. First time I visited this place, I appreciated time that Glenn spent with me showing me around and explaining what their specialty along with one of the best things they offer is their Saturday morning bonsai classes. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, these classes give you the chance to work on your own plants or practice on ones they provide. I have five Desert Rose plants that are 3 to 10 years old, and while I've watched countless YouTube videos on how to repot them as bonsai, I didn't want to take any chances and risk losing them. The class was the perfect way to get hands-on experience with expert guidance. If you enjoy gardening, have plants at home, or have ever been interested in bonsai, this is the place to go. The classes are also a great couples' activity learning something new together makes for a fun and unique experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
