My initial call for an estimate was easy, and scheduling was very organized and easy. The estimator showed up on time and gave several options on the quote, and provided a business card in the event of questions. After signing the invoice, my removal was scheduled. I received several reminder notifications and the crew arrived on time. The removal was very professional and they had all of the equipment to keep it safe and efficient. The entire tree was removed hours ahead of the estimated time, and this crew did an incredible job with cleanup. There was not so much as a twig left in my yard on completion. This company is really outstanding in their focus on the customer and the professional manner in which they operate. I'm very confident in their abilities and they were truly professional in all aspects of what they do. The owner of this company must be very proud of what they built. As a consumer, I wish every contractor experience matched this one.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this company. They are unethical and untrustworthy. If is now December 31, 2023 and only received a pathetic, accusatory response from someone (just before holiday) after a BBB complaint was filed. Not worth my time to even respond because if they're not issuing my requested refund, then they have nothing worthwhile to listen to. I made HUGE MISTAKE paying in full, thinking they'd actually do the right thing. Furthermore and equally unethical, I discovered they falsely put a positive review from me on their website. I was completely shocked and outraged that they would COMPLETELY MAKE UP A REVIEW, especially since I am so unhappy with this company. I guess if they have to make up good reviews, they're clearly do bad work. A company that does satisfactory work gets real reviews - why not ask your customers to complete surveys or reviews. Unfortunately, I looked at these reviews when hiring and BBB is now useless.

Be cautious with Tom Taber's Whole Tree Care by Trapper's Tree Service. I recommended their…read moreservices to two of my neighbors, but afterwards discovered problems with their last job for me (e.g., the stump grind in 2016). Gale (I assume their sub-contractor) was to contact me BEFORE coming out to do the tree stump grind so I could give my neighbor a heads-up to remove their fence panel for complete stump access. Not only did Gale (or anyone from Trapper's for that matter contact me in advance) but the job was done when I was out of town. Since I was not home (or notified) I did not have time to request that my neighbor have his fence panel removed which he agreed to do if I gave him the heads up. The fence panel needed to be removed so that the grinder could access the complete stump via my neighbor's property. Also, this company left me with a huge pile of mulched wood to clean up which I would have been more than happy to pay to be removed. Once I removed the large pile of mulched wood from the stump area, to my disappointment I found that the stump grind had not been completed. I followed up with this company with no return phone calls or emails. I can not recommend this company.
