Where do we even start with Lisa and her company. She absolutely nailed the floral arrangements at our wedding. Every flower, leaf, filler, and vase she touched turned to a piece of absolute natural beauty. Her style is so natural and flowing that you almost feel like she dug up the plants and carefully placed them into your wedding day, minus the roots and dirt of course. Lisa is an awesome lady to work with. Once we first met with her over a video chat meeting, we knew she was the one that could bring our vision to reality. She was very informative, explaining to us all the flower options that would be available during the time of our wedding and giving input and ideas while still listening to our ideas and wants too. She has years of experience, and it shows. Even to our surprise our photographer had worked with Lisa before and told us the flowers at our wedding were going to be beautiful! We didn't need this reassurance, but it only let us know we had made the right choice. Lisa was amazing during the entire process. Leading up to the wedding we had many phone calls and emails to make sure that everything would be the way we wanted it for our special day. Lisa even went to our venue a couple weeks before our wedding to do a little reconnaissance mission as she had never done a wedding there. This is just Lisa. To be a master of your craft it takes little things like this, and that's what Lisa does to bring her clients the best of the best on the day of their wedding. You can tell that she spends just as much time picking the perfect flowers from her vendors as she does preparing them for her clients to ensure everything is as perfect as it can be. I will never forget the story my wife told me after our wedding of her coming down for our first look and seeing Lisa finishing setting up everything. My wife said she saw Lisa and all the true beauty she had brought to our special day, and she just started to tear up. She said Lisa saw her tearing up and started to tear up too. What better way to see a client's true happiness with your work than tears of joy over your hard work! At our wedding we had a scheduled time Lisa would arrive to do the tear down of everything. We ran a little behind and arranged an extra hour for our guests and us to enjoy the wedding a little longer. I had really forgotten about this set time for Lisa, but she never said anything and patiently waited for us that extra hour. When I saw her, I apologized and gave her a big hug thanking her for the beautiful work she had brought to our special day. It's a known fact that if you want beautiful fresh flowers for your wedding you will have to pay more for them. She took a lot of notes and asked for our inspo. She's also transparent with her pricing during the consult. Wedding Florals: my wedding florals were GORGEOUS! I loved the arrangements. They weren't exactly what I wanted, but because they were so pretty, I loved them anyway!! Communication: This is where/why I took away one star. Valarie is very busy (because she's very good at what she does), and while that's understandable, it does cause some anxiety during the wedding planning process. On several occasions, I'd reach out to her and wouldn't hear back for a while, or would have to text her again. She's very professional and apologized. At the consultation, she explained that before the wedding, she would send pics of the bouquets and any other floral pieces to me so that I could make comments and she could adjust if necessary. I didn't hear from her so on the morning of the wedding, I reached out asking for some photos, and she sent me photos of the bouquet (nothing else). I didn't bother asking for more photos of the other florals since it was already the wedding day and the timing felt too tight to make any adjustments. Thank goodness the florals were still very beautiful (didn't quite match my vision but beautiful nonetheless). All in all, the florals were gorgeous and Valarie is talented. I just put my trust in her and it worked out beautifully!
