The last week of storms damaged my roof and my interior ceiling. I had called a few companies…read morearound St Pete to see if anyone could come give me an estimate and tarp my roof. Since I have a claim number with my insurance company I was looking for someone to handle it all for me. First contact I made didn't handle insurance claims and wanted 20 bucks and gas money to come look at it. Smh. Second company sent Laurel and Hardy who disagreed on everything and proceeded to cuss each other out in front of me. They too didn't deal with insurance directly. I called Chappelle next at 5pm and they promised to send someone out at 7 or so that evening. By 8:30 I realized they weren't coming. Frustrated at this point I thought I would never find anyone reputable to help. The following morning I got a call from Chappelle Roofing saying they had gone to the wrong house and apologizing for not calling. I was a little annoyed tbh so I just said that I appreciated the call but decided to go elsewhere,(having no clue where I would try next). An hour later I received a personal phone call from Chappelle's sales manager, not only apologizing for the misunderstanding but saying he would do whatever it takes to make it right and that he personally would be at my home in 15 minutes to assess the damage. Michael Wenzel was right on time. He was kind, friendly, honest, and the most helpful person I have ever met in the home repair/remodeling/construction profession. And not only is his team at Chappelle Roofing going to do whatever repairs are necessary for my roof, but Michael is also going to deal directly with the insurance adjustor/company and hire someone to do the interior. Plus without me even asking, he personally returned to tarp the roof in case of rain; and the tarp looks so good a you can't tell it's there. Michael also told me if I didn't hear from the adjustor by the next day he would reach out and handle it. That all being said, what began as a nightmare has become nothing for me to worry about knowing that Michael Wenzel and his team at Chappelle Roofing are taking care of me and my home!

No communication and no taking responsibility for the poor work. They sent foreign workers with no experience and no company manager. Salesman disappeared and quit responding.
