Miguel was very responsive and contacted us to set a time to check the area for the estimate. They used the survey we had done to locate where the fence would be placed. We selected Ace because he came with brochures for us to see the options and was knowledgeable during the estimate. The value for the price is fantastic. Ace came with all the materials on a trailer the Monday after Thanksgiving. They had to load it that morning since they didn't work over the weekend. They created their lines with a laser and string making sure they were in the proper location. They finished the length of gate on the first day and the gate the morning of the second day. I was amazed how fast they dug the holes and assembled the fencing. The fence is beautiful. It's nice to have privacy in the backyard but it beautiful, as well. With my last fence installation (less than 2 years ago) I thought perhaps the double gate system was less than stellar, but I did not complain. This, however, is about Casique, not them. Not only did Jose and Kanisha both come quickly to assess (in person) the issue, but they also offered an extremely fair price and, most importantly, service within days! Not weeks, not months, days. I realize writing this that it will not always be the case, as I hope they get more work than they ever expected, but their concern, and empathy are astounding. In this day and age, customer service is imperative for every single business, and that is where they equally excel! I say equally, because the finished product is an order of magnitude better than the previous, came with a custom-created metal frame for rigidity, and the proper number of dropdowns. The construction is obviously superior. If you find yourself needing fences, gates, or anything that Jose and Kanisha do, you would be best served in giving them the business and letting them make you as thrilled as we are. My neighbor hired them to fence in their property. As the crew was starting work on our border, I met one of them at a marked corner in the back yard. I wanted to make sure they kept the fence off my property. The employee told me that his English was not very good, but he communicated well enough to clearly show me that they were going to erect the fence on my neighbor's lot. Masonry string was already in place marking the boundary. I was sure he knew my land from theirs. I walked away for a few minutes and came back to notice that they cut down a metal fence post on my property. It was over a foot from the boundary and I didn't want it cut or removed. Later, I saw the other of the 2-man crew about to pull a survey stake from the ground between our houses. I put down my window and told him not to pull it. He questioned me and I reiterated that he was to leave it alone. A string was in place from that stake to the corner stake at the sidewalk. I came home after the crew was gone for the day and discovered that they put the last section of fencing over my property. The fence should stand clear of the string but does not. Nobody answered when I called Jay's Fencing, so after three calls, I left a voicemail. By the end of the day, I hadn't heard from them so I emailed them saying that I'd be happy to give them a 5-star rating if they just get that section of fence off my property. After 24 hours (according to their website) I sent another email and contacted the City, only to learn that they were working without a permit. I can't recommend them, even though the fence looks really nice. Crossing a boundary is a big deal.
