I would have happily paid another company a couple extra hundred dollars to not have my property damaged. We had some siding replaced and soffits, and both were treated as an after thought. They left my driveway with huge gouges from the dumpster, and a big dent in the case of our brand new heating and air unit. When asked about the damage all I got was "Oh I'm sorry to hear about that." So too bad for me I guess. The siding guys were finishing up when I paid the owner and asked that they caulk around some of the siding with big gaps. He said "no problem"... took the money and his guys were gone before he was out of our culdesac. No caulking. I also had informed him that I was having more work done and needed access to the back yard (tree removal and privacy fence). It took nearly a week for me to get them to take their pallet of unused materials from blocking the way to the back yard, and just hours before the tree guys were scheduled to show up. The moral of the story = roof ok, any thing else go another way.

Of the 4 bids, his was the lowest and one other was a bit higher. The other two were over $43K and the bid for gutters were over double what Jose provided. I went over all 4 scopes of work and walked the roof with Jose and his scope of work was identical to the $43K roofers. His gutter bid was also the lowest. I typically don't go with the lowest bid, but dealing directly with the owner vs. high pressure salespeople, was a deciding factor. Jose and his workers showed up on time, worked very hard, cleaned up every day and did a fantastic job. The roof and gutter installation was perfect. I walked the roof with Jose and he pointed out what they did, what was included in the bid and what repairs were necessary. I would highly recommend Zamora Roofing.

I called Lee to ask if they could possibly source a part if I had the S/N and give me an estimate of delivery - a general time frame. They said, "They don't operate off another company's diagnosis". This is the dumbest policy I have ever heard of. All she had to do was tell me if they had the part or could get it. If the answer to those was yes, I would schedule a call for them to do their diagnosis which apparently, according to them, is rocket-science. They lost out on a customer. If they read this, don't send me anymore flyers. You had your shot. You failed!

Larry Sr. showed up to give an estimate when he said he would and was one of the few estimators that actually got on the roof to assess needed repairs. He brought samples of our top 5 shingles and fastened them on the roof, giving us a weekend to view the diffeent colors in different lights to help us make our final selection. Larry Jr. and his crew were prompt, polite and efficient. It is a family business and the comfort level and respect was evident as they worked together. The roof looks wonderful and they even made some minor repairs to our chimney, replacing siding and even touch up painting! Their price was very competitive and straightforward. When we had a minor follow-up question, Larry came right out, investigated, and put our minds at ease. They were a pleasure to work with and we would use them again.
