David lacked the professional courtesy to follow up and follow through on a landscaping assignment he committed to. In short if a business does not honor it's commitments and a business owner does not honor an agreement and/or their word, the business and the business owner cannot be trusted! After the fact I saw other individuals posted reviews on Google and Facebook having the same type of encounter, apparently this a pattern with David - not returning potential customer phone calls when he has committed to a project and not following up with potential customer email inquiries. I was fortunate enough to locate and work with a true professional landscaping company licensed and registered in NJ & PA (SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE), with a perfect customer rating, has a professional Website and SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE were consistent with communications, projects are fairly priced, and THE SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE team were a pure joy to work with. I WAS INITIALLY SUSPICIOUS OF WHY I DID NOT SEE A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WEBSITE FOR LAWN & ORDER LANDSCAPING SERVICES, LLC. My experience with Robert Delmese of A Perfect Image, LLC (API, LLC) -- homeowners, please read…read morethis before hiring him. I was quoted $3,000 for the entire job -- ground leveling, soil, and grass seed. That was the price I agreed to with Robert. I initially paid $2,000, and then paid another $3,500 for soil, bringing the total I have paid to $5,500 -- already $2,500 more than the original quote. Robert then "subbed" the work out, as he put it, to his "friend." The friend later told me he had "miscalculated" the amount of soil needed. He apparently calculated for about 20 cubic yards, when the job actually required around 120 cubic yards. That was not my mistake. I had an agreement with Robert for $3,000, and that price included the leveling, soil, and grass seed, yet I still paid for his mistake. The bigger problem is that the work was not completed properly. My yard was left damaged, the grading was done incorrectly, and I now have water pooling toward my house instead of draining properly into the yard. I specifically pointed this out. The response I received from the friend was: "Well, you wanted the cheap way." I honestly don't understand that statement, and I found it insulting. I was quoted $3,000. I have already paid $5,500. And now Robert's "friend" -- the person he subcontracted the work to -- is demanding another $2,200, which would bring the total to $7,700. So apparently $7,700 is considered the "cheap way." The grass seed was also not what I expected. Grass seed was included in the original quote, yet what was planted was rye seed. The entire yard now needs a complete overhaul just to correct what was done. There were also serious concerns about how the subcontracted work was being performed. The person doing the work was repeatedly smoking illegal non-prescribed drugs while working on my property, including as early as 7:00 in the morning. When I questioned it, I was told "that's the only way I function." I found this extremely concerning, particularly while someone was performing work and operating equipment on my property. What has been most frustrating is the lack of accountability. My agreement was with Robert. Robert chose to "sub" the work out to his friend. Yet when the work was incomplete and problems were left behind, I was dealing with the friend demanding additional money rather than seeing the contractor I originally hired take responsibility for the finished job. Rather than dismissing my concerns or trying to shift responsibility to the person he subcontracted the work to, I would have appreciated Robert taking responsibility for the job he quoted and agreed to perform. I am now left dealing with the improper grading, water pooling toward the house, damaged yard, incorrect seed, and the additional expense of fixing everything. My advice to other homeowners: Do not give a down payment. If I could do this over, I would make sure the entire job was completed properly before paying a dime. Get absolutely everything in writing -- the total price, exactly what is included, the amount and type of soil, grading and drainage requirements, the type of seed being used, and whether the work will be performed by the person you hired or subcontracted to someone else. I would also require proof of insurance up front and ask exactly how to file a claim if something goes wrong. Don't just take his word for it -- call the insurance company yourself to confirm the policy is active and understand how coverage works in case a problem arises. Most importantly, make sure you know who is responsible for the finished result. In my experience, the work was "subbed" out, and I was ultimately left dealing with the consequences. $3,000 quoted $5,500 paid $7,700 demanded by the subcontractor -- and I am still left with a yard that needs to be redone. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Based on how the entire situation was handled, I would not recommend hiring Robert Delmese of A Perfect Image, LLC (API, LLC).

They removed a fence panel to access a large tree stump that had sprouted 10 foot branches near and under my fence. After surrounding the area with heavy net barriers to prevent collateral damage, they brought in a stump grinder, ground up the stump after using a chainsaw to remove the sprouted branches, smooth-raked the area, replaced the fence panel secured it with screws, and made it look like nothing ever happened. See photos. I am DELIGHTED. This company is THE BEST. I now have usable space for a mini-meadow I always wanted, to make the pollinators happy while they pollinate my fruit and vegetables this summer.

Michael Ruggiero and his fiancée Danielle came out in the middle of October to perform the aeration and overseeding. They never mowed or filled in the depression in the backyard. We have been trying to contact them since Nov. 2025 by utilizing the e-mail address and phone numbers which they provided to us. To date as of March 2026, they haven't replied to any of the messages which we have left them. We have also sent them a certified letter with no response. There has been no communication from their side. They are holding on to part of our deposit which they haven't done any work for. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and unreliability. Also, the fact that they are holding on to our money for services not provided and no refund.
