The staff at Pinebrook took care of her needs, made sure she was fed and comfortable. They didn't just take her lead and run away at drop off. They stayed with us for about 10-15 minutes, getting to know more about Ellie so they could ensure a successful stay. One of the things I like about Pinebrook is there commitment to one on one play time with your pet. Traditional kennels put your dog in a setting with about 40 other dogs and depending on how your dog reacts, they might be absolutely terrified. At PineBrook, they take your dog alone and give them devoted playtime. The fact alone that Ellie was able to romp around in a clean fenced in area with the freedom to sniff and not be anxious is worth the 5 stars alone. Mind you, the dogs get central air in the summer. This came in handy last week when the air temp was in the upper 90s. Suffice it to say, I would not hesitate to recommend PineBrook.

These sweet & wonderful people helped me out sooo much while I was on vacation in Vermont…read more We rented a cottage in Saint Albans for a family reunion including all of our dogs. My sister's goofy Golden Retriever Bess enjoyed her time in the country like only she could! She ran off one morning only to return absolutely covered in mud with a good deal of prickly vegetation tangled in her long coat. She also smelled like she rolled around with a dead animal which is actually one of her favorite past times and was crawling with nasty ticks. I tried to help her as much as I possibly could, but after a few minutes,it was clear I needed help from a professional. So, I used my phone to locate the nearest groomer and really lucked out finding this place. They were busy, but agreed to help me on very short notice. Bess took to these people right away and emerged squeaky clean, smelling good with no ticks or prickly things in her fur. Thank you Sara and girls for bailing me out and helping our Bess on such short notice and for being soooo good to her ! 100 % Satisfied with your excellent services, patience, understanding and kindness ! They were wonderful and seemed to truly care about the dogs they take in. We have used a well known and over crowded place in So. Burlington and every time we picked up our dog she couldn't wait to get out of there, would drink TONS of water when she got home, and usually came down with kennel cough. At Stowe Kennel Kare our dog seemed in no rush to leave, showed lots of love towards the owner, and did not need bowl after bowl of water when she got home. The price was worth the peace of mind knowing she was well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely be using them in the future!
