And my dog spent the day with company and being cared for. The first day, Tango, my wonderful Black Lab, got the spa treatment of his life. The rest of the week, he was sat with tender care and meticulous attention. The owner, the daughter of a German couple, tends for dogs in a manner that is seldom seen outside Germany. I was nervous leaving them, but after meeting Cheryl my concerns and fears were much less. Cheryl left us activity logs explaining the things she did with our "babies" from watering them to playing with them. Our old cat (who is over 15) even came out and was very affectionate with Cheryl. You have to understand how shy Basil is with strangers to appreciate that significant moment. It warmed my heart tremendously to see Basil and Cheryl interact together. Cheryl was wonderful with all our "babies". I can't imagine having anyone but Cheryl watch our "babies" in the future. She's warm, affectionate and caring. The fact she knows pet first aid only added to my confidence in her. In my honest opinion she is the best if the best!
