Excellent Solar Experience with PowerSol USA in Gibsonton, FL!…read more We recently had solar panels and a battery system installed on our home by PowerSol USA, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. They're located right inside the Walmart in Gibsonton, FL, which made it convenient to stop by and talk to someone in person. From day one, their team was professional, friendly, and incredibly informative. Jeffrey and his coworkers took the time to walk us through every step of the process--from design to installation--making sure we understood exactly how it all worked. We never felt rushed or pressured, just supported and confident in our decision. The best part? Our new electric bill is down to just the customer charge. That's it! Everything else is covered by our solar system and battery backup. PowerSol provides service throughout the entire state of Florida, and based on our experience, we would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about making the switch to solar. They made everything smooth and stress-free, and the results speak for themselves.

West Bay presented themselves as one of the leading Solar providers in the area. I not only…read morepurchased solar from them several times, but promoted the company by referring friends family and my community. The sales pitch to selling the solar was it carried a 25 year warranty on Material, Labor, roof and of course the 30% tax credit leaving the homeowner with a warm fuzzy feeling. Recently it was discovered that West Bay no longer supports the Solar product nor are they standing behind the warranty they sold us . Though they have their reasons for leaving the solar business it would have been more professional to notify the existing customers and make us aware of this instead of avoiding calls or being directed to Enphase to address our issues leaving us the find/ pay the labor for repairs. Very disappointed with the group and highly recommend looking at other options when it comes to roof shopping since that's their new focus. Odds are you will fall victim like the solar customers. They don't seem to care if they leave you holding the bag. I am embarrassed and feel guilty for being part of this.

We had a local man come out to assess who said the job was just not doable for him at that point. He had too many other appointments scheduled and what we needed would take up more time than he had. So he recommended Red Royal. They came out that same day and told us what the problem was. Power from the pole died due to the line being old and it not being buried in a tube. Replacement needed. They were out the following day and started digging WITH SHOVELS. They almost finished the job but the part they needed to connect to the box was not available until Monday. Back early on Monday they got the power going. Inspectors came out (Dunedin) and approved the job. They came back out and buried the line and left it looking like brand new. I cannot give enough props to the two men that were out here. Professional and hard working + friendly. We recommend Red Royal to everyone. Cannot say enough positive things about them. ZERO negative things. Thank you Red Royal for getting our home back up and running as quickly as possible.

I was so thankful I caught the first company's voicemail. That lead me to Christina, who offered to come out same day and saved me $750 in service costs for an inexpensive part. She fixed the issue very quickly and exceeded expectations taking the extra time to make sure I had confidence in the system and protective measures in place. I was delighted to find out she was the owner, because it was clear she takes personal pride in the work and truly cares about her customers. That kind of responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine customer service gave me something I hadn't found in a while: peace of mind! I'm incredibly grateful to find a service provider I can count on.

I talked to both owners, Christina and Jared, because they both came to my house at different times during the installation, and I'm an inquisitive and demanding customer (Warren Buffet was my neighbor back in Omaha) ... you make me happy, you're the best at what you do! I even offered to buy a percentage of the company, but they turned me down saying, "This is our life's work. We love what we do." They killed the competition. SunPro/ADT ($45k) was almost 50% higher than the price of Bay Area Solar ($31,776). A third less memorable competitor was 20% more and far less professional and friendly. Installation was fast and professional. I've been researching solar panels for 30 years so I knew what I was getting, and I got the best bang for the buck. No money down, $8261 Federal Tax Credit, $160 a month for 20 years, written guarantee that all my panels will produce 95% of what they produce the first day of installation, or Bay Area Solar will replace them for free. My bill with Duke has consistently been the minimum $35.96, with a few winter months around $60 due to more cloudy days and angle of the sun.
