Update:3/4/2020. Now their number is just disconnected altogether. No number works, their website page is disconnected. How do we get our money back from this company since they've clearly been scamming multiple people??? Can't get ANYONE to return calls, texts, or emails. Their voicemail says they are on holiday until 12/4/19. It's January 15, 2020. I had a system installed in May 2019 and was supposed to receive a monitoring system. It's January 2020 and I STILL do not have this. Mind you, I'm paying for the loan though. At first, they had good communication. They stopped responding in October saying the monitoring systems were back ordered. This makes me VERY wary of being able to get ahold of them to remove my panels and put them back on when I need a new roof. If I am having this much trouble half a year in, I hate to think about what it will be like in a couple of years when I need to have them uphold their end of the written contract to remove/put back the pane read more

Not happy! My name is James B Butts of Melbourne Beach Florida. It was July of last year when I sign an agreement with green minded solar for solar panels on my roof. After Solar panels was installed in November, I thought the panels would be hooked up by the end of the year. My contact is David Remington 813-562-7781. I have to call him to check the status of the hook up, he does not call me back. I have made 2 payments for the loan and will make a third payment in a couple of weeks with no services from my solar panels. I'm tired of waiting and getting a run around. On 2/12/2019 David Remington of green minded solar called me after my complaint on the green minded solar facebook site. He explain about the delays in hooking up my solar panels and that they will be hooked up by the end of the week. Jason is the person who will show up to hook up the panels. I requested David call me on Friday 02/15/19. Its now 2/18/2019 and still no response from Dave. He was going to give me an update on 2/15/2019. He never called. He said he will reimburse me $283 for money he owed me but I have not received payment. Dave said Jason will be over on 02/16/2019 at the latest but he did not show. Does Jason even exist? Terrible communication I try to contact them weekly I cant monitor the energy production they told me they need it to replace a piece but it was back ordered been waiting since Nov 2019. Also they owe me money 3 months since i was paying for the system before it was producing it took long to finally get my electric company come over to make the switch and they had to come multiple times since it wouldn't pass inspection thru all that process i was paying for the system I was promise i would get a refund for 3 months but nothing yet, not a text, a call, an email, the phone number listed are not even receiving calls. We were sold a solar system in February of 2018 by Green Minded Solar, LLC. It isn't hooked up yet, although we are paying payments on this $57,000 piece of garbage AND our power bill.. I have contacted the office of GMS numerous times. The owner's wife has assured me that the problem would be taken care of.. We want it taken down and the thousands of dollars that we have already spent refunded , although the salesman assured us there was NO MONEY OUT OF POCKET... Buyer Beware!!! After doing many many hours of research on different solar panels and companies I decided to go with Green Minded Solar and I am so glad I did. The person was extremely knowledgeable and professional from day one. He worked with me to get exactly the right setup for my home in the time frame I needed, and he kept me informed and up to date every step of the way. Any time I had a question he got back to me promptly and answered my questions thoroughly. This quote was not the lowest one I received but I got high quality panels at a great price and I would gladly pay a little extra for the level of service Green Minded Solar provides. Do not use - they will not return phone calls when your system goes down. I tried to work with them to get them to come fix the SolarEdge invertor that is not working. I have been without my panels working since Dec 16th, 2019. SolarEdge hasn't been much more help either. read more

After the system was installed and the funds released, the customer service ended. About a month ago there was nothing coming from the system. We were using power from the power company only. It took several attempts to get a person on the phone. A part was sent out to the house. A few days later a technician came to install. Wrong part. Two weeks later, new part arrives. Been a week since leaving a message on Jared's cell phone. Still waiting. Called the office, interesting how the company has a voicemail box too full to leave a message on. Hmmm. Called yesterday AGAIN, new message says the company is on vacation until the 4th. Yesterday was the 9th. Appears that there is nobody minding the store. Jared's cell phone is never in his "reach". Yes I'm starting to feel like a stalker. More than $44,000.00 and I still pay the power company. Think the only green at Green Minded Solar is the green from the money they collect from unsuspecting people like me! Lots of luck to anyone that gets sucked into this company's scam. read more
