I'll save you a lot of time and tell you that it was more of a hassle than it should have been, especially since we are a customer and it felt like we were more of an "inmate" with them. Crystal from Tender Lawn Care was in contact with us from the moment I asked for a quote here on Yelp. Stayed in touch with me so that I understood when they were coming to visit and made sure I was aware of the process. Couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. They operate on a month to month basis. They don't pressure you into doing anything you don't feel is necessary, yet if we find we need help when the time comes- they will gladly assist. Today, Robert and Augustin came out to give us an estimate on the lawn services. We asked for a quote on the aeration and tree/shrub maintenance as well. They were in and out of here quickly and efficiently. I'm going to enjoy working with this company. Support small owned businesses. They are the backbone of our community and I cannot stress enough how pleased I was with the results today. THANK YOU CRYSTAL, ROBERT, and AUGUSTIN.

Inquired on them also pricing of them removing ivy roots from the backyard but they said it would be too expensive and keep using the chemicals that I had been for everything to die. The day he came out to look at everything we spoke on the phone and he gave me a quote which I accepted. We had some days of rain coming so the work did not occur until a week after per my request. He came out and although did a good job of the areas he did do, he skipped a large portion of my backyard underneath the trees. I even questioned it when he sent me pictures as it appeared it wasn't done. He said it was. Sure enough it wasn't and I contacted him the following day asking him why. He told me that I said not to do the areas with the pine straw which is true but that area does not have pine straw. I repeated myself many times and added that if that area has pine straw it was from the trees that have fallen not unlike the leaves. He kept saying he was going to lose money and it would const him more money to go the dump. He then went back out to my house after that call and texted me that it would be an additional $150.00 for the "extra work" and he just wanted to make me happy. I texted him back that I am not happy and I am not planning to pay him more. I even sent him pictures of that area to show him that it never had pine straw as he was claiming but he kept saying that he will lose money. We had numerous texts back and forth and I kept telling him I will not pay extra. He then decided to text me accusing me of not wanting to pay him anything which was never said by me AND I just paid him online 45 minutes prior. I immediately called him within a minute of reaching that text and he chose not to pick up. I texted him that he was already paid and I was offended on his statement. Asked him not to contact me again or show to my property. I now paid him in full for him not doing the entire job. Nobody in their right mind would ask someone to only cleanup half their yard as the first winds would just blow everything around. It is not the customer's fault that you miss quoted your work. It is bad business to take it out on the customer.

They park on a curve and at the direct end of a neighbors driveway making it hard to get out of the driveway and drive safely around. When asked directly if they would consider backing up to not block others and get away from the curve, "we will think about it" was the reply with a smirk on their faces. They then proceeded to unload the truck and proceed. I was just looking out for the safety of their truck and the drivers in that area. I felt this was disrespectful and would never suggest this company if you live in a neighborhood with narrow streets.

When I spoke with the owner and questioned the price, she went on at length about rising gas costs and the challenges of running a business. They charge $175 per hour and assured me their team works efficiently and doesn't waste time--but that wasn't my experience. In the end, I paid over $350 just to have my front and back lawn cut and some leaves blown, and the quality of work didn't justify the cost. Kids in my neighborhood charge less than $100 and leave it looking better than these guys did. When I raised my concerns, they completely stopped responding. Overall, the service was overpriced and mediocre. They know the work they did does not match what they charged me. And when I said something, they went ghost. No way I'd use them again.
