Just a Canadian Cash Grab Shop cleverly stationed near Costco and Wal-Mart. The selection isn't bad, but the prices are a bit high. There's a lot of attitude in this shop, and really feel like they want to sell you the most expensive marijuana, not the best for you individually. As I'm using it for pain relief, I don't need to go on a psychedelic trip. They are a little too "All business" in that it has a 'pawn shop' vibe with a bunch of tough guys and weird hippies. Lisa sold me a product that was opened of which I think is illegal. She "held" it for me because I had to make another errand when I left it was closed when I came back it was opened I didn't notice until I got home. Also when I first saw it it was filled to the rim and when I got home it look like someone's missing when I came back to the store it was already wrapped up in a bag and I just paid and she handed it to me. Also a week or two after that I came in to make a purchase and got home and the weed smelled old as if it had been sitting in the back for a long time. Now keep in mind I have been doing business with them for over a year or two and I know I have spent a minimal of at least $1,000. I just think when you're spending that kind of money you should get the service that reflects it I would have given this door five stars if it wasn't for this and for me to have to actually physically get on Yelp shows I am not happy at all I'm hoping this will make an adjustment to practices at this location. I know the price of weed is inflated more than double at every store, but it's really not worth it to go here. Bought a .75 gram joint for $20 and it wasn't even .7 grams. What a rip. On top of that I also got 2 grams for $54 and it was worse than any weed I've gotten from a dealer. Seriously only partly trimmed bud and a less than satisfying smell. I only went cause I was curious. The employees are friendly in a very annoying way. Not sure if anyone of them even smoke they have no chill vibe whatsoever. Stores like Green Leaf are an embarassment to informed members of the cannabis community. Their staff is uneducated, they sell poor quality products for ridiculous prices, and have no accountability for the unethical business they conduct. One more than one occassion I've bought flower that was moldy, seeded or both for well over ten dollars a gram. I unfortunately got caught in the scam they had perpetrated with perecan extracts, where these companies moved a large number of concentrates that had been mispackaged and only contained half the product that consumers paid for. Despite a recall and me providing video evidence of me opening and weighing the product, i was denied a refund. A similar event occured when i bought a vaporizer for my girlfriend. The vaporizer I had been sold was defective. Despite being assured that i could bring the device in with the receipt for an exchange or return multiples times, Green Leaf staff initially refused. I had to buy another piece for the vaporizer which also turned out to be defective, even though the manager swore he had checked it personally. At that point i had taken video and wanted a refund, but was denied and given my third defective replacement piece in two weeks. I was told even if the product they sell is defective, they won't return a customer's money. The manager tried to tell me it was the battery, but i didnt tell him i had bought a coil from another store, which i had recorded working fine just hours earlier. It also came to my attention how unknowledgable the staff was. Not only did they offer warranties that the store does not honor, they do not seem to know the very basics of cannabis. I asked one of the product specialists if anything had been flushed properly, and she was so confused by what i meant i had to wait for a manager, who still pointed me to something that burned like ammoniated charcoal. Another instance i asked about the concentrates, and the pinnacle of advice i was given was "I heard this one was good". No discussion of medicinal or recreational needs, solvents or terpenes, just lackluster secondhand subjectivity. On more than one occassion employees here told me it would actually be against the law for them to provide refunds for any product or exchanges for cannabis, which gave a good laugh to the new store I use, which prints state policy on their receipts. I feel like the only reason Green Leaf has had the success it has had is due to the enormous population of people who are new and excited to be a part of the cannabis community for the first time, and are absolutely enamored to finally see cannabis behind a glass counter. Hopefully when people understand cannabis a little better and free selection of the market runs it's course, unethical businesses like these will die out. They are the reason street dealers will always have a job, and i was happy to take my experience and video evidence to the Federal Trade Comission. Avoid this store, i have switched to other stores and am far, far happier with my cannabis experience. read more
