They took their time to explain things to me with no rush at all. I had a terrible lower back pain and they squeezed me in on short notice. -Doctor's knowledge. There is a reason I am not a doctor, so I do not fully understand all the lingo. Dr. Anthony Piccillo was extremely helpful and patient in explaining things. Dr. Kevin Tabije was equally excellent. This visit was nothing like the ones I do with my primary care physician. Half the time, they don't know anything, and the other half they recite the same thing they have to the other 30 patients they see each day. I guess I never expected a clinic like this. Please please please keep it up and do not become just like a regular clinic!

I had a sharp sciatic pain down my leg and in my foot most of the time. I couldn't stand for more…read morethan a minute or two. I needed a cane to walk more than 10 feet. That's changed now. I was diagnosed with three degraded spinal disks. The PerformanceOrtho group were great to work with. They took the time to do a thorough investigation and prepared a comprehensive plan to address my condition. My treatment involved physical therapy and pain management treatments and medication. After a 4 months my pain has reduced dramatically. I'm not pain-free but I no longer have stabbing leg pains and I can walk long distances without a cane. I wake up with a backache every morning (as if I slept on a rock) but goes away after I do my exercises; and sometimes I feel like my foot has fallen asleep for a minute or two, but that's it. I still have more invasive options should I need to go that route but as of now I don't feel I need to. Considering I still have 3 degraded disks and that I do not need the pain medications anymore I think my condition is much improved. All the people there, Drs. Perez & Tabije, Yoonie and the PT group I worked with really took good care of me. I had to work hard to get where I am (and so will you) but I'm very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Performance Ortho, Branchburg if you have orthopedic issues.

Besides improving my range of motion, and working on my strength, Dr. Chavan has addressed my…read morefrequent urination with pelvic floor exercises and I am happy to say that I am finally sleeping and not getting up all night long to urinate. It makes a big difference in your life when you are not exhausted. The inflammation that I have in my lower back, probably from a break to my coccyx bone, is also doing better and I practice the many exercises Dr. Chavan has given me at home. The exceptional care that I have received along with Myofacial Release for Pelvic floor, soft tissue massage, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and the right exercises have made a positive difference and have me looking forward to my next visit. The disabled parking spots were just a few steps away so that was convenient. First impression is everyone was very pleasant and friendly. It's an open space in a small office so you can actively see therapy happening which (I think) is nice so you can also see how many other modalities they're using. Dr. Rashmi was very thorough during this first evaluation. Lots of questions and listening with eye contact. She explained how she wanted to start treatment and then said she would adjust as needed. She started some heat and movement as part of this first evaluation and set up additional time with my husband. So far, so good for the first 1.5 weeks down. They have 3 full time therapists, plus 2 assistants most of the time, and the place is large enough to accomodate 7 or 8 patients at a time without feeling crowded. Their office staff is also great, all in al,l even though physical therapy does not provide for the happiest moments of your life, Sportscare in Bridgewater will get you back into action again!

She would be gone for almost three weeks. I was scheduled with a substitute who really did not know my case. My next visit I was scheduled with another therapist for the next visit. She showed up 25 minutes late for the appointment. She knew less about my case and was very unsure of herself. She also planned to do a procedure on me which is contraindicated. I pointed this out to her and she said I was correct and thanked me for telling her. I have been to PT at three other facilities without any problems. I have stopped going to this facility and will start again at another. There are many excellent places where one can get competent physical therapy services. Don't choose this one.
