He spoke highly of his experience there with the care provided to his wife who suffered with Parkinson's. As of the last three months, he said he is satisfied with the amount of activity and friendly residents at this establishment. I was blown away at how beautifully decorated and brightly colored this place was. I've visited various rehabs, nursing homes, and assisted living places, and many, unfortunately resemble hospitals or are depressing looking. This one was not that, and instead looked like a fun hotel or resort. Looking forward to visiting my friends here again, and hearing more about their perspective. So far they are greatly pleased with their first hand experience!

In my opinion & experience, our family recently experienced a very upsetting and confusing…read moreadmissions process involving a Medicaid-pending married couple seeking placement together. After touring the facility, being told both my parents would be accepted and together , which was most important to my family & expressed deeply to the administration. I was encouraged to initiate the transfer process for my mother who is in another facility , after obtaining OCCO/PAS approval, and transferring one spouse into the facility all was approved , we were later informed that the second spouse was being denied due to "acuity level" and "payor "status concerns. What made this especially difficult was the lack of any clear clinical explanation despite repeated questions, while nearly every conversation focused heavily on finances, Medicaid pending status, payees, and financial responsibility paperwork & give us until Monday after a stressful week to discuss like it didn't matter . Families navigating long-term care are already overwhelmed emotionally, financially, and physically. Communication matters. Transparency matters. If there are concerns about Medicaid pending admissions, families deserve honest and direct communication before major decisions are made , especially when dealing with elderly married couples who may now face separation after relying on representations made during the admissions process. I strongly encourage families to: * read every admissions and financial form carefully, * understand the difference between POA and personal financial responsibility, * keep all communications documented * and ask detailed questions before making transfer decisions Be aware that federal law (42 CFR § 483.15) prohibits facilities from requiring a third-party guarantee of payment. As for the food , my father hates it and says it's disgusting . He said he has lost a lot of weight , he says his stomach is shrinking & he is not liking , or eating the food , he is hungry all the time however he said he can't stomach to eat the food . . I have ordered outside food to the facility upon my Dads request. My dad is Jewish , he's not at all kosher , however he liked the Kosher meals on wheels at home . Outside of PT and OT sessions, my father appears to spend nearly all day in his room/in bed with little to no meaningful activity or engagement , which to me is deeply concerning . Communication and responsiveness to the facility have also been extremely frustrating during our experience. This process has been heartbreaking and unnecessarily stressful for our family. Mother's Day weekend passed & my parents are now an hour from one another & separated due to what happened here . Disgraceful.

I have had a chronic pain (Tennis elbow) since the last 18-20 months that I was treating through my orthopedic who prescribed Meloxicam and Advil as needed. These medicines have long term issues impacting kidney and liver functions. A friend recommended Gopal Patel at COPT in Somerset and I started my PT under his guidance in mid September 2023. I am very happy to state that I have been cured over 95% and pain intensity is a thing of the past. Gopal is an excellent therapist who never looks at the clock and works tirelessly to treat the symptoms and ensure the patient gets relief from the first therapy itself. I call him a magician as he has been able to help me gain strength and now I am able to do all my chores with ease. Earlier even navigating the car steering was a problem but not any more. I am very very happy to have discovered COPT and drive quite a distance for my therapy - all because the COPT folks genuinely care. All his therapists are experts and extremely patient with the patients. I have seen so many smiling faces and the atmosphere is positive and lively. Aide got there and decided she didn't like the dogs so she left my mother alone. She met the dogs…read morethe day before - 2 sweet dogs who have never bothered anyone - never mentioned any issue with the dogs until later that night. At her request, we put the dogs behind a gate in the living room. Evidently, they got excited and knocked the gate over and went and sat on my mothers bed (which they do daily). Is this aggressive behavior? So scary that you leave someone alone? When I called to complain, they pretty much said, too bad... This is no way to run a business. If this aide had such an issue with the dogs, she shouldn't have been given the job. We made it clear that the person had to be ok with dogs. It's irresponsible to put an aide in place that sort of likes dogs? This place not for us - bad placement guidelines
