I actually wrote a review about iFoam a few days ago and then took it down, but I think everyone…read moreshould know about my iFoam experience. First and foremost, I will say the finished product was great. I have already noticed a difference in the heat retention of the house. We had our exposed ceiling insulated 7 inches deep. The job iFoam did in relation to this was very good and I would give it a four star rating. How they left the house once the project was completed or as I like to call it the aftermath was horrendous When covering our belongings, they stapled our furniture. It's not ruined but there are now staple holes in it and it was brand new since we just bought the house. Where is that acceptable? I was dumbfounded and beyond angry. They put staples in the wood trim of the interior siding (which was brand new from the previous owners), staircase, and walls. They left garbage in the driveway and on the walkway. Not small pieces that I could overlook but big pieces of tape and foam or left caps from what I don't know in the driveway. I feel like they pulled the plastic covering off and said good enough and walked away. It literally took me two days to rediscover our bed and comforter, because I literally had to vacuum clothing, which was supposedly covered and protected. I also have to buy a new comforter because there are foam pieces permanently attached to it. Yes I tried to wash it to no avail. And finally, I have to buy a new shoe rack because it was bent in half almost 90° from what I can assume was caused by one of the men trying to stand on it. It's metal, but it's not that strong. So if you want to hire iFoam, do it they did a great job, I just hope it's an unfinished basement because otherwise all of your personal belongings will have foam all over them and possibly staples. Oh and almost forgot failed to clean off or cover our CO2 detector as well. I felt there was a little regard for our belongings or the house itself. Get the job done get out. I will give the manager credit. After an email filled with photos and my disgust. We had a discussion on the phone and he did give me a bit of a discount on the entire job. I thought it was fair of him to do that. I would have preferred to pay the original price and everything was great, so I didn't have to spend 2 days vacuuming, pulling out staples, spackling and repainting trim and being angry about that lack of respect.
