Job was originally scheduled for June 16, but was told one of the guys didn't show up to work so they asked if the job could be rescheduled for June 17. Late on that day, I was contacted by the owner (Tiffany) and informed that due to them needing to let one of their employees go, they would need to reschedule, yet again, to June 18. At around 6 pm that day, one guy from AnTz Farm LeafCutterz arrived armed with only a small shovel and sawzall. After 1.5 hours, it was clear there was no way he could, by himself with the equipment he had, remove the entire tree and root ball. Since it was starting to get very dark, I offered to pay a reduced amount to simply cut the trunk down to the ground level and then I would hire another company to come out and finish the job with the proper equipment. As you will see from the picture below, he didn't even cut the trunk down to the ground as it is still sticking up about 1.5 feet in the air.
