Highly recommend alterations at Green Cleaner, by far the best tailor there is! He is super nice, patience and pays great attention to details. The service is fast and they also offer same day pick up. I've brought many items here from jeans, pants, blouses and long dresses. It's ridiculously hard to find an affordable yet impeccable service and I'm glad I've found my go to spot. read more

I do appreciate their taking us in our time of need. But all we needed was a shirt to be quickly pressed. They quoted us $2 on the phone. Fair. Got there, and because we were in a rush they said it would cost double. My, my! Yeah, I know, it's only two more dollars, but how long does it take to press a shirt, especially since it was new out of the package and there were absolutely no customers in sight and a definitely not rush hour? Shysters. They had us over a barrel. It took them a full 10 minutes. And they probably sat around looking at it for 5 of those minutes just so we would think it was complicated with their professional equipment. It is a good thing it came out looking good. read more

Ok I do LOVE that they are green, and right next to my home...but it did take awhile to get my alterations done, and they close at like 6:30pm everyday, which totally cuts into my happy hour schedule. Good service, reasonable prices, courteous staff. Parking lot is a p.i.t.a. This will be my new go-to for cleaners/ alterations. read more

$10 hems (comparable to the area) but still pricey considering. Friendly staff and I had no problems with my alterations. I would come here again! read more

Awesome to find a cleaner that is Green! I've read that drycleaning chemicals continue to come off clothing that you breathe in and is very harmful. This is why I don't like carpet either. Anyways, its cool that they can do it this way and more drycleaners should follow their methods! read more

Been using this place for the last few months since discovering it via yelp and it's somewhat near where us. A big plus since it's "green" (no nasty chemicals) and the prices are very good (i was expecting price gouging because green usually translates into overpriced too). You can usually get your stuff done within two days, give or take, but they do close a bit early for my liking. Haven't been disappointed by them yet, and I've been through some dry cleaner nightmares. I'll definitely miss them when we leave pb *sniff* read more

GREEN = NOT CLEAN (and damaged)!!! Do not take your clothes here unless you want to have to take them somewhere else when you get them back. My girlfriend had 4 items cleaned here and 3 of them came back what appears to be dirtier than when they were dropped off. Pants, shirt and skirt were stained and the skirt wasn't even pressed. The fourth item was a fuzzy sweater that went down to her waist, and when we got it back it went down to the middle of her thigh and was no longer fuzzy since the fabric was stretched so thin. We went back to the place to try and negotiate an arrangement to be compensated for the now-destroyed sweater and unclean clothes and the owner was not there. I got on the phone with him to make arrangements to stop by when he was going to be there, and then when that time came he no-showed! Eventually he did call me when he was there, but did nothing to compensate us except to ask for another chance to clean the clothes, which I was not about to let happen. There is a policy on the front desk stating that damaged clothing will be replaced up to 10x the cleaning cost, but since we already took the clothes home the owner would not honor the policy. So if you do take your clothes here, make sure you inspect them closely before you leave (better still, take them somewhere else in the first place...there are plenty of dry cleaners in the area). I am not usually easy to dissappoint, and this is only the second bad review I've ever written for any establishment whatsoever, but it is well deserved. Heed my advice and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

One of my boyfriends nice dress shirts came back with what looked like each stains on the collar. We noticed it when we got home so we decided to take it back to show them and see what they could do. The guy had my boyfriend call the owner and the owner stated that it was my boyfriends fault! That he must have sprayed something on the collar or put a "film" on the collar for it to look like that. He was very rude over the phone and told us to return it to the store we bought it from because it wasn't his fault. I think we would have noticed orange bleach spots on the collar when we first purchased the shirt.... TL;DR........DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES AND TELL YOU IT'S YOUR FAULT. read more

I have never gotten anything dry-cleaned here, but I have taken my jeans to get hemmed here about four different times. Every time they do an excellent job, and get them done within a few days. They charge $10 to hem, which is a fair price considering what I've paid at other places. There is always parking out front, and I'm always in and out within a few minutes. There definitely is a language barrier, but the people who work there are very nice and always seem happy to help me. read more

Super rad dude working there is always happy and excited to dry clean!! Great price and location and they do an epic job!! Highly recommend them! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE, THEY WILL BE RUINED. I went here for awhile only because it was dirt cheap and near my house. I started noticing that each time I brought my clothes back the material felt a little different and the clothes had slightly shrunk (wasnt sure if I was immagining it). My last time I went there I got my very nice shirt back and it was completlely runied and I had to throw it away. read more

Amazing! Great service and it is ever better that they only use green drycleaning chemicals. Highly recommend!

Green Cleaners is fabulous. Not only do they do a wonderful job at cleaning your clothes, but they also have a on-site tailor who does truly great work. She will listen really carefully to what you need done and make sure the job is impeccable. I took a vintage shirt in once and when they couldn't match the buttons perfectly they called me to make sure I didn't mind if they used a different button, and they also always call to confirm a price if they discover while doing tailoring work that it will cost a little extra. The service is fabulous and you're helping your health by going there and avoiding chemicals. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience at this dry cleaners. They ruined a designer 150 dollar jacket by shrinking it so that I could not even out my arm into it. I had a receipt showing how much I paid for the jacket and the manager would only reimburse me for 40 dollars! I was enraged! This was a very expensive jacket and it was my favorite. They also caused discoloration on two other shirts that cost 100 dollars each. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CLOTHES! read more

Green cleaners is great! After trying other cleaners, they truly give me the best quality clean. When I let them know of a spot it is taken care of. My cuffs and collars always look great. Best local cleaners in PB. read more

I brought my uniform in to be dry cleaned and pressed. It looked like it had not been touched on a press at all. Wrinkles all over and no creases. I won't be returning here. Overall all the dry cleaning in PB is terrible. I will start going back to Coronado for all my dry cleaning. read more

I spilled RED wine on my white floral comforter and you can't even tell!! Plus this cleaner only changed me $25 vs the cleaner across from Broken Yolk which would have charged $40. read more

Green cleaner are my go to! Always on time and great work. They helped me get a stain out of a $300 outfit which was a huge relief! I trust them with my clothes 100% read more

Unbelievably bad service! Expensive and terrible! Don't go here! Ripped my shirts apart and said it wasn't their fault that we dropped it off that way! read more

Just got my suit back for a wedding and it looks great. When I was dropping it off, I knew that I wasn't going to be able to make it in before they closed so I called ahead and they offered to wait for me until I got there. I think it is nice when a local company is willing to be flexible and accommodate a client like that, and it was much appreciated. They're always friendly and have done a good job for me at reasonable rates with quick turn-around. I like to take time to send it back in their direction when a business does a good job. read more

4 items - 3 dresses and a coat. $60. That's overpriced, in my opinion. But, I was in a jam and needed them for a trip - so I paid and left them there. When I came back to pick them up, they said I still owed $13 because they forgot to charge me for a dress. Honestly, I was super angry about this. I know we are only human and make mistakes, but if I was quoted $75 from the start, I would have gone elsewhere. Super disappointed. read more

I brought in a comforter that had a tear in it that I expected to just have sewn closed. Instead I go back and the guy sewed on some random plaid fabric piece to cover the hole! Made the whole thing worse. I will never go back there again. I gave the comforter away. read more

I went here on my search for an environmentally friendly dry cleaners that would do a good job on my clothes. This place meets the first criteria, but not the second. My clothes were basically not very clean after I got them--the sort of thing that gives 'environmentally friendly' dry cleaning a bad name. Upon further research, I have been going to another green dry cleaners (Hangers) in Mission Valley (in Costco/Ikea shopping center) for a while, and they do a remarkable job (albeit at a higher price than most) with getting clothes truly clean and virtually no shrinkage despite many cleanings. I believe they use a totally different cleaning method than 'Green Cleaners' does, as the results are extremely different. read more

I've have NO problems at all with this place and I've been bringing all types of items from shirts to blouses to comforters to alterations and sewing patches for 3 years now. He has never done anything but great work and service!! Great price and consistent quality. read more

We have been using Green Cleaners for almost a year, since we moved to PB. We haven't had any issues and have had great service for dry cleaning, pressing only and alterations. I hate ironing and my husband wears dress shirts every day to work so I wash them and drop them off for pressing. It's like $2.00 per shirt and they come out so much better than when I spend hours ironing. I love these guys. Friendly and convenient... read more
