Green Apple movers showed up this morning to move us across town. So first of all Jeremy kept in contact with me leading up to the moving day which settled my nerves and I felt very confident. I messed up and miss-communicated what I wanted them to move. They thought they were just moving the heavy stuff, like the safe and furnishings. And... YES..... they will move your safe!! Well when I began speaking with them they agreed to move absolutely everything! So instead of a quick the move they agreed to they spent hours hauling, moving and gently staging my stuff!! They sent so much longer than they thought. Also...I found out today that they will also move our pool tables! Just FYI. So the three guys stayed with me for probable three hours longer than they had planned and literally worked theIr a**es off. So polite, so professional. Literally enjoyed the entire experience!! No broken anything, no scratch, no dings. Plus they were awesome and friendly to be around. Green Apple I want to thank you for sending me your 5 star crew! They were the absolute bomb!! We had a good experience with Green Apple Moving. We used a different moving company the last time that we moved, my husband didn't feel they were professional & they banged up our walls & furniture. My husband insisted that we hire a different company for this move. We liked the 3 men who showed up quite a bit. They are definitely professionals. Pake came in and told me right away that my estimate of 4 hours is probably off by a few hours & this would be at least a 7 hour move & asked if that was okay. He was right of course. These guys are personable, fast and smart about moving. These guys would work 'til they dropped & I insisted they take 5 min. breaks here & there & be careful not to hurt themselves. The fact that they moved our overly crowded home in under 8 hours was absolutely amazing. People are not machines and we took them for a sit down lunch, fully expecting to continue paying the hourly rate. Pake took 30 min. off of the bill for our lunch break. Think about the overhead, HUGE truck, insurance, training & stamina these guys need. $175/hour is reasonable to take that stress off of moving day. Thanks, Charlie, Pake, Dez & Chris. We had Green Apple Moving move a piano from Bayfield to Dolores. The 3 guys that helped us were fantastic. They were very professional and had all the equipment to properly and safely move the piano. We had considered moving it ourselves and now we are so glad we did not. I have a 100 year old home with old hardwood floors and they were diligent about being careful with every move of the piano as to not dent or scratch my flooring. Also, I had some felt/plastic/wood pad options for underneath the legs and caster wheels and they were very helpful in their suggestion of what would be the best choice to protect my floors. There was a small piece on the piano that was missing (a screw that was broken on the top for the sheet music holder) that we assumed was broken since it was a free piano, but they searched at length to find the screw and even were planning on ordering a new screw to fix the piano if need be! Top notch, friendly and professional service. Overall the communication was fantastic and I appreciated their quote system that send us an email with all the details and we were also updated on timing and delivery throughout the whole day. Highly Recommend Green Apple Moving Company. We hired a national company to move us. After 4 different confirmations, a deposit, and a day before confirmation, they decided not to show up for our CO to TX move the day before we closed on our house and had to be out. After calling everywhere, Green Apple answered. They immediately jumped into action to get us taken care of. Russell helped us out, and went above and beyond. I was on the phone with him around 2pm that afternoon, and by 4pm we were on their schedule to get moved out of our house at 8:30am the next morning. Not only did they have us out of our house in 2.5 hours, but they also arrived early to get the job done. They stored our belongings for almost 8 weeks, repacked it all, and moved it down to Texas. NONE OF OUR STUFF WAS DAMAGED!!! Everything was exactly how we had packed it. They were professional, fast, and easy to work with. This company may have had it's past blunders, but they seem to be making many amazing strides in the right direction. Had a fantastic experience with green apple! We had a rather complicated move - moving 2 separate households in Durango into 1 house in Park City, and another house in Durango (essentially, 2 moves at the same time with multiple pick up sites and 1 drop off). The movers helped us pack, in Durango. They were patient and very careful with our many fragile items and artwork. They arrived a day early in PC, and though the unloading process took longer than everyone expected, they maintained great attitudes and were very patient. Not a single thing was broken or damaged. We requested and paid for their "white glove" service, which was expensive, but we absolutely got what we paid for. There were a couple of boxes and one large area rug that didn't make it onto the truck, which was disappointing, but all in all, I was very pleased. The patience and positive attitudes of the movers made moving day much easier and less stressful than I anticipated. I would use them again without hesitation! read more

We needed to move the contents of our 3 BR house from Pagosa Springs, CO to McKinney, TX in February. Friends recommended Green Apple because they had moved them from Pagosa Springs to Durango last winter and things went very well. We have made over a dozen long distant moves over the years of corporate life and retirement wanderings so we have had had many different qualities of experiences. Charlie and Jeremy visited and impressed us with the thoroughness in preparing the estimate. A crew of 6 loaded us up in Pagosa on the 2nd day after a greater than 2 ft snowfall. The two drivers unloaded us 2 days later in McKinney, TX during a 3 inch snowfall. There was no damage to the old house, the new house, or any of the furniture. Jeremy and Burt were very accommodating as we placed furniture in the new house. We paid the exact amount Charlie had originally estimated. Overall a 5 star experience. read more

I recently moved from CO to OK. Green Apple moved my possessions in Bayfield, CO residence to storage unit then moved possessions from storage unit to OKC 4 mo. later. The crew both times was polite, careful about my belongings, helped me pack last of my boxes, and damaged nothing in either move which is more than I can say about any of the other moving companies I have used!!! Green Apple Moving proved to be an extremely competent and professional company to deal with. They were very accommodating during the scheduling process due to delays by the builder of our new home. We had to change the date several times and they were great about it. On moving day, they called and and got permission to come about a half hour early which worked great for us. The crew was led by a consummate professional (Albert) who was the best packer and team leader I have ever run across. He made what know was a difficult move look easy. The packing and moving time was exactly on the estimate and was done with no damages. All of the crew worked extremely hard and efficiently. We used Green Apple Moving both when we first moved to Durango in 2011 and again when we moved away in 2012. We used them only for loading and unloading our own Budget Rental Truck...so I cannot comment on their actual "moving service". But, if you just need help with the heavy lifting stuff, they are right on target. Our condo was 3 stories, and they moved some VERY heavy pieces for us and packed our truck like pros! These guys helped me pack a piano that I had to move from Durango, Co to Tuscon, AZ they came out and met me at the storage unit that I was loading into the moving truck for my father they carried the piano out took it apart wrapped in up and strapped it the the wall of the truck on a piano dolly that they deiced they wanted to help me with so I wasn't charged for. The three men arrived right on time. They wore masks. They were hired by the buyer of our piano and they put down floor protection first thing. They were in and out in less than 15 minutes and were very professional and polite. They were careful to hold up the power line in our parking area. We have used two other movers in the past 25 years and Green Apple is the best.
