They added decking, an eight ft fence, a swing gate, a firepit and an arbor. Each one is my favorite. Through out the whole process Mark was professional, even when I changed my mind several times and he had to redraw the plans. Their materials and workmanship were top of the line. He went above and beyond any of my exceptions. I can't say enough nice things about his work and his crews. Thank you Extreme Woodcare.

I've been trying to get two gate boards that are warped fixed since summer of 2025. They finally sent a technician a few months ago in 2026 spending 10 minutes and blaming it on "excessive rain" during a drought and leaving before fixing anything. I paid a premium for quality and service and received neither. Save your money and go elsewhere! BUYER BEWARE

Alan and Eric arrived on time and did a great job of power washing the fence. We had to wait a few days due to rain before the fence could be stained. Agustin (I believe) came by to stain the fence. He was very friendly, thorough, and did a professional job. I received a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the job. The fence looks new, and I'm looking forward to preserving the fence as long as possible and following Lifetime's recommended maintenance schedule. This company is a pleasure to work with, their quality of work is top notch, and they make me feel like a valued customer. Update: 4/29/2021: I found that the best way to get service after the sale, is to contact the office directly. Jimmy, the owner, is extremely responsive and shows a genuine concern for his customers. He stands behind his product, whether it be a defect in materials or workmanship. 3/3/21: I wanted to replace my 6 foot, side by side wooden fence with an 8 foot board on board fence. One portion of my fence was ten years old, and another portion was five years old. I was looking for greater privacy from prying eyes, security, and to add value to my home. I spend a lot of time in the back yard, so I wanted to have greater enjoyment. I consulted with two other companies, before I went with Lifetime Fence. I met with Brian, we went over a few options, looked at other fences in the alley, and his proposal made the most sense. I did not feel pressured to commit, and didn't sense any high pressure sales tactics. Everything was above board. Their warranty provides peace of mind. I put 50% down, and Jimmy, the owner, called me right after the snow storm to set up an install date. Brian came by that morning, and we did a walk through with Adrian and Hernan. I was going to be home during the install to answer any questions and/or address any concerns. The first day, they took down the old fence and posts, installed the new poles, rails and trim. The next day, they made some leveling adjustments before installing the pickets, and the rest of the trim. I really like my new fence, and am looking forward to enjoying my backyard for many years to come. I feel that I achieved my objectives with this fence. I'm looking forward to a continued relationship with Lifetime Fence! Thank you! * The 2021 reviews were under an old profile which is no in use. RED ROCK IRON and CEDAR FENCE ROCKS!…read more I had some major issues after a hail storm and from a previous owner who had let our fence trend downhill! I read all of Red Rock Iron and Cedar Fence reviews and liked what I read! I called Adam and he said he could swing by from another job and take a look at my fence. He is true to his word and was so helpful. I love when a contractor does exactly WHAT they say they are going to do (and they went above and beyond on the job) and do it WHEN they say they are going to do it.... Adam is true to this word. His crew showed up on time, were so professional and did such an amazing job! We were impressed to say the least. Our fence looks amazing. The workmanship is superb! Can't brag enough on Adam and his team. They even clean up and you never know they were even at your home...what a concept for some contractors!!!!!! I will refer everyone that I know needed any iron or cedar fence work completed! Adam and his crew at the best and the most personable!!!! If you go with another company...it's your loss! I have had a hard time with contractors doing what they say they can do and doing it when they say they will do it....AND doing a great to superb job. Not an issue with Red Rock Iron and Cedar Fence! Thank you Adam and crew for everything!

We hired Adam after reading reviews about DFW Fence Doctor and finding his number listed on…read moreironfencedallas.com, DFW Fence Doctor's wrought iron division. Though you might find Adam associated with the ironfencedallas.com website and DFW Fence Doctor, he is NOT associated with them. His work is sloppy and he does not stand by his work to fix the problem, even after given plenty of opportunities to fix the issues. Here's a little rundown of the nightmare and headache we dealt with because of Adam: - I initially texted him and he was very responsive when getting information about the work we needed, which was to refinish/repaint the iron railing on our front porch. - He completed the work a few weeks later and the day he finished my wife was working (and the paint was still drying so I couldn't get a great read on the quality of the work), but he told me that once she/we had a chance to inspect the railing after it fully dried, it wouldn't be a problem for him to come out and fix any issues if we saw anything. - The next day we inspected the work and there were several problems. The paint was already peeling off in numerous areas, and he got overspray on both the stone and brick on the porch. I texted pictures to Adam, and he said he'd come out the next day and said "I'll get it fixed for you". - After a few days of no updates, I texted again and didn't hear back. I gave him a few days and texted again, and he said he would stop by later that week. He never stopped by. I texted again, no response. I tried calling him and got a vague non-answer that he had stopped by (when? I don't know, because I was home nearly all day and never saw him), and fixed some things but couldn't fix everything and had to come back. - After more texts and calls for updates when he never showed back up (we're now at about 6 weeks since the initial work was done), my wife tried calling him. Surprise surprise, he answered right away since he didn't know to ignore her number like he had been ignoring mine. He told her he'd come by "no later than Wednesday" to fix the problems. He never showed. On Thursday, my wife sent multiple texts and tried calling multiple times, and he never responded. - I then texted him again, saying we felt like we deserved a refund for the poor work and complete lack of follow through. That got a response from Adam, who claimed he was "out of town this week on an emergency call since Wednesday" and "just saw multiple messages and texts" from my wife after getting my message (conveniently, he apparently didn't have phone service all week until my message came through?). Even if the emergency call story is true, he lacked all decency to communicate that with either me or my wife to let us know of the situation. - According to Adam, I hired him, and my wife didn't. So, in his words, "I'll communicate with you and she needs to talk to you". In other words, "I accidentally answered when she called because I didn't know she was calling to voice concerns and now I'm ignoring her". He also claimed that this seems to be a "husband/wife dispute" for some reason. I've never once hired a contractor who refused to talk to my wife about the job because, and I quote, "a man cannot serve two masters". Basically, he'll answer an unknown number the first time because he wants the business, but after that he'll ignore you if you're voicing concerns. And if you're married, you'd better make sure you're both there when he agrees to start the job, otherwise only one of you is allowed to talk to him. You can find Adam's information on fencerepairdallastx.com, dfwfencebuilders.com and dallaspoolfence.com (that should be a red flag right there, that he needs multiple websites and business names...). Please save your money and avoid using him because you will just have to have the work redone by someone else!

The first never responded and the second needed several weeks just to come out and take a look, but American came out the following day and took the time to talk about everything we had in mind. They then followed up quickly with an itemized quote including multiple options we had discussed. We had them build an 8ft privacy fence and are extremely pleased with the result as well as the service. This fence is a major upgrade! It's not only nice to look at, but solid. We also had them install a custom corner gate that will allow us to make much better use of our big yard, and it turned out better than we could have hoped for. The pricing was very reasonable, build-out was fast and professional, and the guys were super easy to work with. The owner Todd personally consulted with us at every stage to make sure we got everything we wanted. I am thrilled not to have to worry about our fence blowing down every time it's windy or our dogs knocking planks loose; plus, with our corner lot, we definitely gained curb appeal points. My husband and I own a small business ourselves and try to support other family run businesses as much as we can, and it was absolutely the right move for this project. You won't go wrong with these guys. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
