Thank you, Ms Candy for helping me find my hearing protection! Safety first!
    MaryLou B.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Ms Candy is one of my favorite Unicorns in the world! She helped me find my hearing protection. I walked around almost the entire store looking at all the cool items, but had not seen the hearing protection area yet. I was waiting for a clearing by gun counters and that's when Ms Candy cheerfully asked if she could help me find anything. I was ready for help too, because I kept getting distracted by all the things! Ms Candy helped me try on different styles of earmuffs. And I was so excited to actually find one that I liked! I tried to match the ones that I liked at my gun range, but this one was even better. I have a wide head and that is normal for a Guamanian, but it does make a harder job to find things like eyeglasses, headbands, etc. At the range proper fitting hearing protection was a must!!! Safety first!! To make things more complicated, I have TMJ and get migraines easily. As I previously stated, Ms Candy is a hero for her patience, knowledge, and TLC! And now I never have to worry if someone had the wide set that I needed at the range and I always know that my headset is clean! So with this mission complete, I even had even more time to look around and even try out one of the guns on my wishlist. Hubby enjoyed his time here too. We got some great tools and even a new wallet for Father's Day! God bless!!

Remember the old tune from the show? Green Acres is the place to be... That does not apply here unless you want to be swindled and disrespected. The manager is a crook and when called out about his dishonest business practice... "you can get the "f" out of here." With a few "G.D.'s" thrown in. Ray and I went yesterday to buy more practice rounds for our weapon. We decided not to get the expensive hollow point rounds for $50 and instead just get 2 boxes of practice rounds with an additional magazine. The ammo alone was already marked up 100%. He pulled a clip from a display weapon and chose to sell it to us at the same rate as the 50 rounds of hollow points and ran it through the register as ammo. Had we just ordered from Academy Sports online... we'd have saved so much money and wouldn't have been wholly and totally disrespected by this aweful "manager" that cussed us out for his wrong doing. He refused to do a refund and made it to where we had to leave with the Hollow points anyway. I'm very proud of how I conducted myself and the respect I carried for everyone in the store, including him. This is what makes supporting local businesses so challenging. People like that! Glad you dooped us one time. It will certainly be your last because we won't be back. Clock out and go home dude. Obviously you ain't fit to work with the public nor are you fit to sell firearms and ammo with that short temper.

Holy cow this place has everything for a guy that want to get in the woods. Everything is good prices and in abundance. Come check these backwoods folks out can't wait to hear what yall have to say about this spot.

I wish I could give less than one star. They are price gouging big time at this place. They don't even have prices on ammo just shooting from the hip. They charged me $53 for a 20 round box of Remington core lokt 243. That's a $20 or less box anywhere else. Terrible that they think it's ok to take advantage of the situation in this country.

Well I'll start by saying that I tried to review a product on their web page and despite it posting…read moreafter sending me an email to confirm I was the reviewer the review magically dissappears once the web page is refreshed. I also attempted to post the review on their Facebook page and it wouldn't post either so something is shady. Here is the review: I'll explain the pros and cons of the holster below but, just to sum it up quickly for those that do not wish to read my entire review, the holster has way too much slop between the pistol and the holster especially when compared to other manufacturers holsters. It definitely does not fit like a glove and a significant amount of daylight is visible around the entire pistol with the exception of the trigger guard. The only way to eliminate any movement within the holster is to tighten the tensioning screws to the point that it requires an unnecessary amount of force to remove the pistol from the holster. This might vary on other holsters manufactured by Concealment Express so this is strictly a judgment of the Sig P365 holster. To start, I purchased the following for a new SIG P365 that is replacing the Kimber Micro 9 I currently carry. So I ordered the IWB Kydex holster in carbon fiber (SSR-P365-CF-RH-VAR), the claw kit (CE-CLAW-KIT), the 1.75" belt clip (CEX-175BLTCLP) and the quick draw lubricant (CE-QUICKDRAW). TOTAL $70.80. At the moment I'm using a Vedder LightTuck holster with claw attachment and prior to that it was a Badger Concealment holster. Both companies had pros and cons to their holsters and Concealment Express seemed to bridge the gap. I liked the large plastic clip of the Badger but it lacked the adjustability of the clip that the Vedder and the Concealment Express holsters have as well as a claw kit. I did modify the Badger to accept the claw kit but that's another matter. The Vedder on the other hand has the adjustability and the claw kit however I am not partial to the metal clip that they use. They also are also more expensive. Perhaps you get what you pay for. Quality wise both Badger and Vedder make excellent products. The goal with the Concealment Express holster was to bridge the gap because it seemed to offer the best of both holsters and was cheaper than the Vedder at $79.37 shipped. Pros: the kydex, clip, hardware and claw kit all appear to be quality. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need the 1.75" clip that I purchased in order to use the holster with my current gun belt which is slightly under 1.75". With both Badger and Vedder the 1.75" clip was required to accommodate my belt. Shipping was also quick and free. Cons: as mentioned above there is a significant amount of play when the pistol is holstered and the tensioning screws are adjusted to an acceptable level. If you tighten them to the point that the slop is eliminated it requires an ungodly amount of force to remove the pistol from the holster. Can you say wedgie! Now granted my experience with both Badger and Vedder has only involved a Kimber Micro 9, a SIG P226 and a Kahr CW9 however none of them had anything close to the amount of slop that this holster has. I can only conclude that this is a) poor design and engineering or b) i received an outlier which speaks to quality control. Also the claw kit is more robust than that used by Vedder however the extra bulk doesn't aid in concealing the pistol anymore than the less obtrusive Vedder claw. This is strictly opinion. I am skeptical of the reviews on here as they're all rated highly (another reason for choosing Concealment Express)and I cannot possibly believe that someone that has experience with other holsters would find the holster that I have acceptable. So, in conclusion, it looks like I'll be buying a Vedder so I can compare apples to apples and I will update my review at that time if it allows me to.

A CAUTIONARY TALE for future customers of St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods…read more In 2018, I was given a gift certificate with no expiration date to use at St Nicholas' new gun range. I took a friend for a range session. I used the gift certificate to pay for both of our range charges. There was a balance of approximately $48.00 on the gift certificate. I was handed a St Nicholas-branded receipt with the remaining balance handwritten. I stuffed the receipt in my gun bag. Years pass. While cleaning out my gun bag one day, I found the gift certificate receipt with the outstanding balance. Returned today for another range session. Pulled out the gift certificate balance, here again with no expiration date, to pay, and was told that it would not be honored. The reason? There was a new owner. Admittedly, it had been a while since I had used the gift certificate. Still, regardless of time, the money had been paid to St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods. Take this experience as a cautionary tale that may or may not influence any future business you might consider doing with St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods.

This is by FAR the best place in Jacksonville to get your FFL transfers…read more At $15, they're between $10 to $40 cheaper than ANYWHERE else. The brothers who own and run the store (which has now expanded to include firearms, reloading equipment and EVEN .22LR ammo which ALWAYS seems to be IN STOCK) are really good guys. For example, the last time I was in there, an older gentleman came in looking for a .50 caliber dud-round or case that he wanted for some reason--I wasn't really trying to pry--but they looked around, found one, and gave it to the guy for free. These guys are good to go and will give you a square deal. While they don't buy in bulk and may not be able to match Walmart or Gander Mountain prices on somethings, they'll do what they can to help you, and give you fair prices and personal service. They seem to have a LOT of concealable-personal defense pistols, but they have rifles and shotguns too--I'm thinking they're expanding to be a one-stop shop for home-security. NOTE: They also do engraving, jewelry repair and tons of other stuff--it's just a great place that is centrally located (no driving across town to pick up your gun or get it engraved, etc). --- About me: I'm one of those guys who buys a lot of guns on gunbroker, tries them out, writes reviews online, but then ends up selling about 75% of them (for me a gun has to be 100% reliable with all the quality ammo I feed it, AND I need a reason to own it--I'm not really a collector, though my wife would disagree).
