The truth is, this laundromat functions just fine with coins. If you avoid the app and the QR codes, it will spare you the extremely frustrating experience that I had. I will be calling my bank on Monday and making sure that extra charges are dropped. But generally speaking it's not OK to use an app that is so faulty. Also, I lost money on the dryers because they didn't work after I put the money in and didn't refund my money. It's not the responsibility of the users to inspect the laundromat. It's the responsibility of the owner to not only inspect the laundromat, but also post appropriate signage that contains all the accurate information, in this case, you don't need the app.

This laundromat is clean, spacious, and in excellent working order. All but one machine was online when we arrived and it was clearly marked out of service. The venue is quiet and well lit inside and out. Cameras add an extra layer of security inside and out. Even the rest room was impeccably clean. Prices are reasonable. Equipment works correctly. There is a nice selection of suds and soaps to purchase for 50 cents a load. Change machines provide quarters for up to $20 denominations. There are even well appointed snack machines available to take care of the munchies. Overall this laundromat is an easy and convenient place to do laundry. They have wonderful customer service (truly, everyone here is very kind) and very fair prices. I won't risk trying a different place for alterations because because every time I've gone here, the work was wonderful, exactly what I asked for, and done in a timely manner. I've had linen pants, work pants, jeans, etc. all altered here and they've all been perfect. I wouldn't recommend going during the holiday season as they are typically swamped with alternations.

Somehow their tailor had a mixed message and completely deconstructed then reconstructed the dress in an odd way. The tag is now under the arm instead of the back and there is a seam running up the front. The dress no longer fits and is now worthless. It was brand new and still had the price tag. I took it back to show them and Mrs. Kim became combative insisting that the dress was like that when I brought it to them. I have photos before of the dress and it clearly was different. There is no question that it was mistakenly altered at their shop. She refused to listen and accused me of upsetting them. After 20 plus years of frequenting their shop, I'm shocked at her reaction. I've now also seen similar negative reviews. Extremely disappointing. I am now out $250 for the ruined dress and alterations which they refused to reimburse. I will never go there again.

There's a sign that specifically says don't touch Elvis, and I'm just curious as to why that had to be put up there. Cost-wise detergent is about half of what I've seen elsewhere. Small machines are $3 medium machines are 450 and the large ones are six. Pretty standard rates.
