Dr. Karm and her staff do amazing work!…read more I have been an athlete my entire life: competitive swimmer- turned Crossfitter- turned Orange Theory addict. In July 2021, after seeing an orthopedic doctor and receiving a round of HA gel injections previously, my knee was in an abundance of pain. I could barely walk and it was affecting my ability to work, workout, drive and do normal activities with friends and family. At the advice of a friend, I called Active Care. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but was desperate for help. I was welcomed with friendly faces, a clean and open office, an insurance sheet that told me exactly how much I would owe for what and when, and Doctors with positive attitudes, outgoing personalities, and who truly want the best for you. I saw Dr. Freseth who created a plan for me that included rehabilitation, adjustments, exams, and regular massages with Cheryl. Every rehab session turned into "work and talk" discussions about food, life, athleisurewear and healthy living which made me excited to keep coming back and motivated to keep up my progress. Anytime I have a question about my account statement, I receive a response in less than an hour. By November 2021, I was pain free, back to working out 6x a week, and running faster every day. In February 2022, I had a 2.3 second PR on a 500m row benchmark at Orange Theory, which I credit to Cheryl's massage work earlier in the day and the continued work of the Active Care team on this former athlete's creaky joints.

When I first started, I could barely tolerate my lower back pain and struggled just to function day to day. Through consistent therapy and continued treatment, I've gone from that point to now being completely pain-free. The impact on my quality of life has been nothing short of incredible. Not only did the treatment relieve my pain, but the ongoing care--whether consistent or intermittent over the years--has helped me maintain progress, improve mobility, and function better in every aspect of life. On top of that, the entire staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They always communicate clearly, accommodate any needs or adjustments, and truly make you feel like part of a family from the moment you walk in. That level of care and personal connection makes a huge difference. I'm genuinely happier and able to enjoy things I couldn't before, all thanks to the care I've received here. Thank you again for the support, the impact, and the life-changing improvements over the years!

After receiving no response, I reached out again to be ignored again. You guys have my number. I came into this clinic with some terrible neck pain a few weeks back. A friend recommended I see a chiropractor. My mistake for choosing this office. I went with my bf, and we both tried one session. The dr was wonderful, and after I felt some relief, my boyfriend and I signed up for the package of 4 per month for 2 months with three free. The original Dr told me to alternate heat and ice for 30 minutes and do some stretches. I did exactly this and felt better. I intended to continue the sessions indefinitely, hence why I bought the two month package to start. The second time we went, it was a different dr. A woman cracked my neck and it felt extremely painful. I instantly knew something wasn't right, as it shouldn't hurt. I tensed up too much for a second crack although she proceeded to try anyway. Again, it was extremely painful. She told me to heat and ice for an hour each time. I felt no relief. Something was wrong. I felt worse in the days following. The third time I went in and a different dr told me I was too stiff for any adjustment at all, and he's not sure why I was being told to heat and ice let alone for as long as I had been. He then told me only ice for 20 minutes, No heat at all. I now felt worse than when I had started, and I was being told three different things by three different doctors in the very same office. I wasn't sure what to do so I went to my dr who then referred me to a sports medicine dr. She said I should not have been icing or heating at all, let alone for that long. Either way, she told me to discontinue the adjustments immediately, and I should have done just that after the second one hurt. I was hoping the third one would make me feel better like the first had so that's why I went back. I now have used only 3/7 and I was told since I signed a contract, I am out not only those 4, but an entire other month I am unable to use. I understand I signed a contract, but when I did, I had the full intent to use it. I did not intend on the second dr making me feel worse. I was hoping since I had three different doctors from one office tell me three different things and one dr make it worse that they would be willing to at least help me re-coup the cost of the second month as I am already eating the cost of the remaining 4 sessions from this month. I now have to pay a sports medicine dr a hefty fee as well as a follow up visit , and frankly I can not afford both. I understand contracts as I work for a catering company and we use them all the time, but if we catered an event and made the party sick, I would absolutely make an exception. I would hate to know we made someone feel unwell. If you are in the business of helping people, shouldn't you help people? I explained in detail how the visits to this clinic made my situation worse, a sports medicine dr recommended I stop immediately, and I was met with zero compassion, even any apology or any sort of remorse. I was simply told coldly "yeah well you signed a contract." If this practice cared at all about its patients, they would have expressed at least an ounce of compassion and some sort of compensation. I'm now out hundreds of dollars from their unused fees and follow up doctor visits to correct the further damage they have done. I know I may be a freak case, and lots of people have had no issues with this office, but since things went so awry, you'd think they would try to make it right. Save your money and go to a real chiropractor with some bedside manner. These people don't give a hoot about you.
