Management doesn't know what they are doing, don't buy of fix your car here, honestly go to any other dealship

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. HIDDEN FEES. NO SERVICE, ONCE THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED!!!! It's the 4th and 5th new car for me since 2013, and never have I experienced such dishonesty. I absolutely do NOT recommend this dealership nor the seller JOSH LALLOUZ. He will sweet-talk you into signing the contract, but WILL drop you like a hot potato as soon as the deal is closed. Do NOT trust their finance department either. They are dishonest and good at finding fees. I bought a Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited 2023 last June from GreatWest. There were some hiccups, but it was OK. I guess the finance lady trying to sneak in some warranty packages into the car price should be the first red flag. But I was new in Edmonton and didn't know any better. At the beginning of September 2023, I bought a second Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited 2023, and that's when the issues arose. Once the deal was concluded, I was shown Josh Lallouz and the managers' true colors. It started when I discovered 5 days after purchasing the 2nd car that I was not given the full and right information regarding the warranty package. Trong Nguyen (from finance) made me believe that the coverage was for 5 years. Then I received an email from Jeep regarding the program Jeep Wave, a 3-year free of charge mechanical warranty! I reached out to Josh Lallouz, asking why he didn't tell me about it. He said he thought he did and that a manager would call me. I received a call from sales manager Lance Maroney, reassuring me that I was only being charged for 2 years. That GreatWest would never risk losing a valuable customer like me over $600. I decided to go through the bill of sale only to realize I was paying $9037.35 instead! I reached out to Mr Nguyen to have it canceled (I had 60 days to do so, and it was only day 6). He told me I have to pay $1,910.25 for him to be able to. I told him the bill of sale does not mention it, and he didn't either during our meeting. He said it's the fees Great West had to incur so I could get the extended warranty, interest-free. I called Josh Lallouz, hoping he could help and was told his job is to sell cars and to try customer service. After many unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue. Many call back requests. I was told by Lance Maroney (sales manager) that the fees will remain. I tried escalating things but was basically told by Garret Anderson (general manager) that Great West is not going to lose out $2,000 over me. So after spending over $175,000 for two cars, in 2 months, Josh Lallouz and the sales managers Lance Maroney and Garret Anderson treated me like SHIT after being bamboozled by their finance department. Then Josh Lallouz has the nerve to send me an email 3 weeks ago, asking for referrals. By the way, I am still waiting for the free winter mats I was promised 5 months ago. Neither Josh nor Trong are answering my emails regarding the mats and confirmation that the warranty has been canceled. I guess you live and learn. $175,000 is a very costly price to pay for trusting the wrong people. BUYERS BE AWARE!!!!! read more

I honestly struggle with the 1 star reviews below; not to negate their perceptions or experiences, but... have these people ever been to a dealership before? Buying a new car is a nightmare... well let me tell you, the staff at GWC are the cure! As a solo female, Jeep shopping had been a horrible, sexist, dismissive experience (avoid Crosstown if you were born with ovaries) . NOT GWC! I specifically sought out Eden as a female sales staff, to give me an honest and respectful experience... and what I received was beyond my expectations. Eden spoke to me like a real person. Respected my knowledge and was able to answer my questions, instead of "getting me into a vehicle now" that would have been wrong for me. She expertly navigated the whole process. Luckily for me, by the time my custom order was ready to be signed off, she had been promoted to a management position and was able to follow my transaction the whole way. Think it was just Eden? Guess again. Grant in the parts department went over and above... like SKYSCRAPER levels above to explain the mods I wanted/needed for performance and aesthetics. He got me stellar deals on some pretty sweet mods and stuck to my budget without pushing. I know it's his job to sell me things, but being a person who is typically a pretty good judge of character, I felt totally at ease and trusting throughout the whole process. Even if I had ended up overpaying (which I certainly didn't) whole experience, from beginning to end, was worth its weight in gold for the RESPECT I received. 10/10 would recommend the team at Great West Chrysler, especially if you're a female (or femme presenting human) looking for a safe and respectful space. Took car in to have water pump changed. Last time was in there, asked to have them check out an engine code/light. They couldn't because their equipment was not working. This time around, asked again and apparently this is "another diagnostic fee because a 'different' person has to read the code". So it would have been two diagnostic fees ($300+). This is purely a money grab type shop. Obviously, I had the car towed to the wrong dealership. I removed the ask to plug in an OBD reader and let me know what the issue is. Unfortunately, I let them repair the water pump. I called Cross Town on yellow head and THEY have NOT charged diagnostic fees for a long time. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. You guys have lost out on a sale of a new truck as well, just saying. read more

Horrible experience, great jeep! Dealing with the sales person was great. Then getting into the finance department I was misinformed about the warranty and made to believe that the extended warranty was actually the normal manufacture warranty. I was told that I would only be paying additional cost for total lose insurance. While reading i er the final number the cost of the extended warranty was presented as the total lose insurance. Sneaking little trick, a day later after realizing what had happen I called to let finance manager Know that I didn't want the extended warranty. Jeep-Chrysler allows a 60 day cancellation and refund of extended warranty. When I asked that the extended warranty ($5500) be canceled the finance person I was dealing with refused and told me that Great West Chrysler doesn't have to honour Jeep Chrysler policy. I found that strange and called Chrysler canada Mopar customer service department. They insured me that all authorized dealerships have to Honour policies put in place. I called the dealership back and told them what I was informed and she still refused to cancel the warranty. In the end I got the warranty cancelled, but that was only after numerous emails and phone calls to Chrysler canada and my bank and the only reason it was finally cancelled is because i threaten to report them to AMVIC. Be careful, is all I can say. I love my jeep; But i will never step foot in that dealership again and I will be servicing my Jeep elsewhere read more

i went to great west Chrysler for a part for my car. keep in mind that I am a student and have no experience with cars and ordering parts etc. I was going based on what was broken when my car got broken into. I took a picture of my VIN # and asked if they needed it and he told me no and that all he needed was the make and model. Later I found out that I actually didn't need the part, and the part that I was sold didn't fit in my car, and they refused to take it back. the man said that he was just doing what I asked and that I told him the exact part that I needed which I didn't. He also insisted that there was nothing that he could do and that it was my responsibility to look at what part I needed ahead of time. Now I come back a few days later with my grandad who fixed the part of my car for me and they returned it no problem. The man was still insistent that it was my fault that the part was wrong and that he was "Just doing what I told him". now, I understand that I am not knowledgsable in this area and I told him at the beginning that I wasnt sure what all I needed and even offered to show him my car because I thought he would know better than I would. I just find it interesting that he wouldn't take responsibility for the fact that he sold me a wrong part and then when I came back with a man they did the return for me. would not recommend. there are tons of dealerships in the city that I'm sure will treat you with more respect. read more

The great west chrysler horror story... So i took my truck in for an electronic control issue, as well as a new glow plug. They were told that i cleaned the throttle body and cleaned the sensor and the light still came on. They were happy to hear this news as all they had to do was reset it so it went into relearn mode, and that would cost me around 500 dollars. However the glowplug was on back order and i could either wait for it or i could get 6 aftermarket ones and have them installed but i run the risk of some of them breaking off so we recommend waiting for the back order one. So of course i sait id wait for that one. 2 weeks came and i got a message stating my glow plug was in i said good, because my electronic throttle control light is still coming on, and NOW my exhaust system has gone into regen mode 8 times since i left your dealership(diesel engine). The secretary made the note. So i bring the truck back to the service bay, i should say my girlfriend brought it in i was working. Anyway, it was brought in about 11:30 am and was told it should be ready that day, secretary calls saying we want to soak the glow plug until tomorrow, no problem wait until next day.. oh i forgot to mention 300 dollars for glow plug and 900 for a 4x4 service to drain my fluids.. anyway, next day comes! Not a word from anyone at the dealership. Ok ill call the next day but that was weird, next day comes and i call the secretary and ask her why noone called, she didnt know, but the glow plug is still soaking. So i asked if any of the other things had been done while this was soaking. She says they wanted to do the hard part first, and i said it was soaking couldnt they have done the other stuff while this thing was soaking. She could not give me an answer. Weird again. I get a text message 2 hours later from the secretary telling me she has bad news. It looks like your going to need a new cylinder head and i will send you the quote. I asked. Why! She texts me that the glow plug just spins, and sends me the quote... EIGHT THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS! Whaaat So heres where it gets tricky. I said to her sounds like u broke it, she says you were warned of the risks, i said no i wasnt and i was not warned about the single glow plug from dodge or the cylinder head I was only warned about the risks of buying the 6 aftermarket glow plugs. She sends me a text of a prior message that was sent from her stating the risks of the aftermarket glowplugs breaking. And that i should wait for the dodge glow plug... Weird. And says again see it says there you were warned.. whaaat!? I told her i would not pay for something you guys broke. Once again u were warned. I told her again i wasn't and also said are you going to try to come to some sort of resolution. She says, thats the quote. So i said. So nothing? You want me to pay for something you guys broke. I told her to have my truck ready by the end of the day, and have your service manager give me a call. So i reviewed my texts and saw there was a number to call if i wasnt satisfied with something. I tried to call it no answer of course. i believed it to be the service manager, so i emailed him giving him a chance to fix this mess. He finally gives me a call back, but not only is it him he has the foreman and the mechanic on speaker phone with him, sounds like an unfair advantage like a scared bully who needs his minions with him to gang up on me. So i asked him if he expected me to pay 8000 dollars for something they broke he started going off about how it wasnt broken it was stripped. i started getting upset and told him he was a fool if he thinks im going to pay for something i didnt do and to have my truck ready by the end of the day and hung up. My Girlfriend picks up the truck, and now the etc light is on my truck is now smokeing from the exhaust and im afraid to drive it to cause more damage. these people have ruined my 2018 ram limited and i will not stop sharing my story until its rectified. if anyone reading this has any advice on how to proceed or knows anyone in the news please DM me read more

I was severely disappointed with the way I was treated after my first and only routine maintenance appointment at Great West Chrysler, and will be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. While the staff are friendly, and the quality of service was satisfactory, I was given the runaround when I wanted clarity on why my vehicle failed an alignment test. This lack of transparency has caused me to not trust my car with them in the future. I changed my tires over to all-seasons a couple days before my Great West appointment and had my alignment fixed then. Great West told that my vehicle had failed their alignment test, which seemed strange to me since I had already had this service a couple days prior. When I received the alignment reports, they only provided suspension angle measurements on the printout showing the readings after they completed the alignment service. The initial reading did not provide any of the camber, caster, or toe measurements, simply the results of a drive in test that said the vehicle failed the alignment test. I noticed the discrepancy on the reports after picking up my car. The shop where I had my tires changed over told me that to determine if they could issue me a refund, I would need to bring in fully detailed "before and after" reports with suspension angle calculations on both, just as they had provided to me. After several unreturned calls and messages to request the detailed "before" report the with angle measurements, my service advisor told me they couldn't provide that because "that's just the way we do it." She told me I would have to talk to their manager to explain their process to me and sort out the discrepancy. This is something that should be easily provided to a customer. It was the first time a shop had ever returned alignment reports to me that weren't even measured on the same testing device. Great West lost all my trust as a result. I don't plan to ever return to this dealership again and would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. read more

Every time I go into a car dealership I feel like I'm taking part in some sort of behavioural science experiment where psychologists are studying the practices and effects of non-communication between humans. The type of study done through Naturalistic Observation in which the scientist observes the subjects in their innate setting--similar to the way Jane Goodall studied chimps in Africa. Except instead of chimps we're talking about dealership employees and their inherent refusal to share information with other departments. No one knows anything so they each come up with their own version of the truth. Now enter the customer who has to chase said employees to find out what the hell is going on with his or her car and you have your experiment. I brought my Jeep into Great West for a shit-tonne of repairs--leaky crank seal, oil pan gasket, worn brakes, exorcism, blah, blah, blah--all of which I was just too damn lazy to fix myself. Plus I was in the mood to be told 18 different versions of the same story. The service advisor told me that the Jeep would be good to go by noon the next day. He said he would give me a call. I say again--NOON THE NEXT DAY. I say again--PHONE CALL! I said "ok" and got a ride home with their courtesy shuttle. The next day at noon my phone didn't ring. I finally called the dealer myself at around 2 PM and asked what was going on. A completely different service advisor answered: "Oh, that won't be done until around 4 o'clock," Service Advisor #2 told me. I say again--4 O'CLOCK! I asked him for a phone call at 4 so I don't show up to pick up the vehicle only to find out it isn't done yet. He assured me that I would get a status update at 4 PM. Do you think he called me back? Nope. I get that the service advisors aren't the ones doing the repairs and really have no idea when work will be completed. I know they're just pulling random repair times out of their asses when they tell a customer when their vehicle will be fixed. Here's a revolutionary thought I just had and I'm sure Jane Goodall (and even her chimps) would agree: Service advisors can touch base with service dispatch to find out a vehicle's current status and then relay that status to the vehicle's owner. AND they can relay it at the agreed upon time they said they were going to call. Crazy, I know. Anyway, I got the Jeep back at the end of the NEXT day. All the repairs checked out, no complaints there, and my bill was less than the price they quoted me when I brought it in. Bonus. My biggest heartache about my experience here is the dismissive service staff. It's like dealing with Jon Lovitz's Saturday Night Live character Tommy Flanagan, the Pathological Liar. Remember him? "Yeah! That's the ticket!" There's another review of this business here by one-hit wonder Nathan B who claims that Great West tried to rip him off. I seriously doubt they were trying to steal his money. This place is just so muddled and full of confusion that they probably just screwed up his bill. We ended up buying a 2016 Dodge Journey with 33,000kms on it. All went as expected if not better on the sales/financing part of it. The moment we drove it away was when it started. We brought the "new to us" car to another dealer to have an inspection done.(3 days After picking it up)They did end up finding 4 things wrong with it, and 2 things we already had issues with. Forwarded this to our sales rep. When the service department followed up for the first maintenance we brought up the issues. Talked to 2 different people said they would look into this immediately. But never did hear back. 3 further Calls from service department asking if we want to book the vehicle in and another from finance to see if we needed to defer payment (covid) which we didn't. And each person we talk to says they will look into it. (6 phone calls and 4 emails- with no resolution or anything) So to say I will never buy a vehicle here again is very accurate. Bought a 2016 Ram Rebel a few months back, never got told that the Air Ride Suspension was prone to not working in cold weather, reached out to both Managers and 1 called me back saying they wanted to help me out as I'm a valued customer, never heard anything back from them after, all nice prior to buying a vehicle, but after the fact it's like don't waste our time, so buyer beware when you purchase a vehicle from here, the Managers are nothing more than a bunch of weasel's, never again will I buy from here. read more

I had an appointment today for an oil change and tire rotation at 10:00. When I asked the guy if I could get an estimate of how long of a wait there would be he said "we close at 5:00 so some time before 5:00. We have lots of appointments and we are backed up". Well first, thanks for the snarky attitude. That was just rude. It wasn't like I was asking for an exact time, I just wanted to know if I had time to do some errands while I wait. And I asked nicely. Second, a business has no right to book more than they can handle in a day. That's just rude to your customers. If you have appointments they shouldn't over book. It just causes frustration for everyone. I get that some customers might cancel but there can't be that many customers canceling every day that you need to over book. If you are having that problem then put in place a fee for canceling in less than 24 hours. Lots of other businesses do it. It really doesn't make me want to recommend this business to anyone. read more

The sign says experience respect outside, thats a joke. Cant even begin on how much i regret going to this place. Extremely unprofessional and do not care about customers. Worse customer service ive ever dealt with in my life. To much to ask to get a reply from the service manager about my brand new 100k truck your tech dean crashed using it to go to mcdonalds from what I hear from another tech and driving it around for 21kms which i have proof of. Now I'm stuck with a brand new truck thats been in a accident while in possession of the dealership with over 6k worth of damage and now has a decrease on the trade in value. Now with issue after issue which they can't fix and is less then a year old. and also getting stuck with bills from the body shop. this is how customers get treated at this place. Can't even return an email after all they put me through, extremely unprofessional and just straight up lie to your face. STAY AWAY !! Ya i did talk to the service manager about it obviously and the salesman and the GM of course no one did a single thing about it. I lost out on around 30k in lost wages cause of there techs incompetence and using my truck to go to mcdonalds cause this is a worktruck. I asked if we could go ahead and see if I could afford the vehicle with my trade in which lead him to treat me as hostile after I was unable to quickly be specific enough with him. Hi to all, I would like to tell my story of buying a new truck from Great West Chrysler in edmonton Alberta just off stony plain road. So I walked in hungover, still drunk from the night before(my mistake) looking to buy a vehicle. Little did I know than that the salesman Aaron Henderson should of shown me the door. Looks like he thought differently and decided to feed me some water and sell me a truck anyways. They sold me a 2019 brand new dodge st truck for about 15000 dollars over the actual advertised price. Lied to my face about what a sweet deal I was getting and continued to butter me up. They also than gouged me with about 10000 dollars on back end products which I found out from another dealership the very next day. Which apparently the finance manager not only grossly overcharged me for gap insurance and extended warranty, he raised my interest rate because the dealership makes more commission from the bank for up selling interest rates. I just want out of this terrible deal but they are refusing dealership just made about 28000 dollars off me. I basically bought two trucks off them. The very next day I went in their cause I had noticed what they had done as soon as I sobered up, and the sales manage Garrett Anderson basically told me to fuck off and admitted to me that there is nothing I can too. Too bad see you later was his response. So I would like everyone to hear my story of about how great west a "respected" , "reliable" , "customer orientated" dealership is nothing but a sham. All I wanted was for me to get out of this deal because they hosed me on and they basically scammed me, also found out they broke the law selling me a truck while still intoxicated from the night before and also broke the law by selling above advertised price. These guys are crooks and everyone should refuse to give them business unless you have piles of money and like paying for two trucks all in one. DO NOT GO TO GREAT WEST CHRYSLER!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They really have no idea what it means to give good service. They are rude, argumentative and they refuse to do warranty work (they don't make as much money off of it) so they don't even bother to document warranty complaints, hoping that the time will just run out and you will go away. STAY AWAY! Update, 4 months later and 3 trips back to the dealership with a check engine light and poor vehicle performance, absolutely nothing has been done. How bad is the service at Great West Chrysler? I bought a new 2014 Ram 1500 Sport from them last August and I received free lifetime oil changes. After a few times getting my oil changed there, some DBag "Service Writer" started hassling me to get my 25,000 km "service done for $250.... No thank you I said. He then went on to tell me that if I don't get it done, it could void my warranty.... Excuse me? The "service" they wanted to do included things like, checking me tire pressure, tire rotation was the big ticket item.... Fill my washer fluid and things like that... Noooo, I do that stuff myself and HELL NO, it won't void my warranty. I now willing pay for my oil change at Jiffy Lube Before I bought my new truck, I took my 05 1500 in for some needed repairs. I knew I was gonna spend a few bucks, but another DBag "service writer" told me I had a bent axel shaft and the pinion seal was gone, along with the axel bearing.... Like I said, I knew it was gonna be pricey... DBag tried to tell me that they'll only do BOTH axel shafts, cuz that how they do it. After I'd picked myself up off the floor from laughing at him, I told the "service writer", that line of BS MAY work on someone else, but just do the work it needs and I advised him that I'll be inspecting the invoice very carefully when I pick my truck up... Please keep in mind, I have ZERO issues with the mechanics that do the work there, but unfortunately, you have to go through a bunch of lying, scamming, conniving, manipulating a**holes to get to them. Long story short, when I picked my truck up a few days later, the invoice was for $4500... WTF??? After a careful inspection of the bill, the useless c**ksucker tried to bill me for the OTHER axel shaft that the DID NOT install AND he tried to Bill the pinion seal as a separate job... 4 hours for a part that was changed as part of doing the one axel shaft. By the time I was done with him, my "invoice" was just under $1900. In other words, they tried to charge me $2600 for work they DID NOT DO. Don't even get me started on how they treated my wife with her vehicle. That when I really lost it on them... NEVER take your vehicle to them... Unless you're stupid and rich and don't care how much money you get scammed out of. End Rant read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. To begin with, in august of 2020 I went in to test drive a 2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 Great West had on their lot. I liked the car and was very interested but noticed the seam holding the leather together on the drivers seat had come completely undone and the foam seat was exposed. When i brought this to their attention i was promised by Zach (who i am quite sure is the GM) that after i sign the papers I could bring the car car back whenever it was convenient for me and he would have it "good as new" . A few weeks later i dropped off the car expecting to have the seat re stitched which i assumed would be an easy fix. unfortunately, they decided to cut corners and instead gobbed a large amount of some type of black adhesive in the seam, completely RUINING my leather seat beyond repair. When i IMMEDIATELY brought this to their attention i was told (once again by Zach) that they would "look into it"... i NEVER heard from them regarding the seat again. Fast Forward a few weeks and Suddenly my car was throwing all sorts of error messages, dashboard lights were coming on - something was obviously wrong with the 35 thousand dollar vehicle i had purchased just weeks before. I took the car back for maintenance at great west and not only did they lose my key fob (for this, they did pay for the replacement) but i soon after realized that my AC no longer worked. When contacted once again they admitted that they missed adding some type of fluid as a result of not properly knowing how to service German vehicles. I had my vehicle in and out of the shop for probably the first 2 months of me owning it. Less than 10 months later I was driving down the highway when something went wrong and my engine started sputtering and smoking and my car completely died. I have since learned that my engine (which still had very low KMs) is complete irreparable and replacing it would be over 20 thousand dollars. Great West completely washed their hands of the situation and frankly don't care about ANY of the above. Now i'm 22 years old paying off a very expensive car that i can't even drive all because of a multi million dollar dealership that cares far more about making a buck than they have ever cared about their clients. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

The worst service department I have ever encountered by far. I took my Jeep in to Great West Chrysler's service department for some repairs and they kept it for FIVE MONTHS! (Yes, you read that right.) They kept making excuses and avoiding my calls, finally telling me that their technicians were away for family emergencies or undergoing training or that they were busy with truck warranty servicing. When I finally got my vehicle back, I was stuck with a $2,200 repair bill, and not only did they NOT fix any of the things that were wrong with it (other than replacing the dead battery and swapping my winter tires off), but more issues had shown up in the time it was sitting outside: The rear wiper arm got broken and needed to be replaced, there was weathering damage to the clear coat, and one of the headlights was now burnt out. I was so frustrated that I just paid and left. Instead, I took my Jeep to Derrick Dodge where they diagnosed and fixed all of the issues in under a week, repairing all of the new issues as well. Then, I found out that Great West Chrysler lost my winter tires and rims! Apparently, when I didn't pick them up the next day, they recycled them without so much as giving me a phone call that I needed to pick them up! I am presently trying to get them to replace them, and may be taking legal action against them if this is not rectified in some way. Not only did they have my vehicle for five months (which is beyond ridiculous), I was I ripped off for repairs not made, and they lost my property as well. I cannot get over how bad this experience was. The experience at Derrick Dodge and Jeep was such a contrast. I hate to say this since I had gone there for years without any major issues, but Great West Chrysler is now a terrible dealership with an awful service department that people should avoid. I purchased a $30,000.00+ used vehicle from this dealership in Feb. 2020. The Salesman promised some basic items as part of the deal but couldn't arrange to have them installed or completed the day of the sale. When I called to get the outstanding items addressed, the Salesman no longer worked there and I was now transferred to a Sales Manager. I explained that I was visiting the area from out-of-town and was hoping to get the small issues dealt with that day. He told me he would look into this and call me back - he didn't. When I called again I was transferred to another Sales Manager named Zach. He said he couldn't confirm what I was saying was promised and proceeded to negotiate with me on what he was prepared to do for me. At the end of this exercise he was willing to look after a $100 fee to Chrysler for some level of key fob insurance in order to get a second key fob. All that was originally promised was that they would supply a second key fob. I was also asked to pay $65 for wheel locks which were also originally promised. To be honest, my trade-in vehicle had wheel locks and rather than transfer them to the new vehicle the Salesman promised a new set..... The other issues were to remove window tinting that was allegedly not meeting a standard, a cleaning detail of the vehicle which again wasn't done, and a complimentary oil change. I decided to leave the window tinting and took that off the list. Zach didn't seem to have a problem with the detailing or oil change, however, the key fob was a struggle and he was firm on having me purchase the wheel locks..... Again, these items were all part of my deal, and their documentation is absent of any of this apparently..... At the end of this story, Zach promised to follow up by email and hasn't bothered. Being from out of the area, my items won't be addressed this trip, maybe not at all! I expected more of a dealership! To debate with the customer over $65 wheel locks when they spent over $30,000.00 with you is incomprehensible. He might as well have accused me of lying about what was promised the way he treated me. He was arrogant and rude! If you are looking for a dealership that prides itself on client care, honesty and integrity, look elsewhere! This Sales Manager's attitude toward resolving the issue is quite telling about what you can expect for after sales service here! This dealership does not standby offers that are made. We were in to the dealership in person and made and offer to which the dealership countered. We went for lunch and called in another offer though our sales person. The sales person called us back within 5 minutes accepting our final counter offer with no additional conditions. As we were returning to the dealership we received another phone call confirming that we were indeed on the way to close the deal. When we arrived and started the paperwork, it was brought to our attention that they did not accept the offer we presented on the telephone as "they don't accept offers over the phone". In addition they refused to fuel up the new vehicle or wash it prior to taking possession and had returned to the original offer. We spoke to the sales person twice after the counter offer was accepted and we were led to believe that all was to be honoured which it was not. This dealership is not trustworthy and not true to their word. We will never recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a vehicle. Very underhanded. It should be noted that the sales person himself was not to blame for this ordeal it was actually the dealership owner's son Zack that refused to honour the deal we made - he was arrogant and very rude. I wish I could give them zero stars. All great west cares about is making money. They don't care about their customers at all. I went in less then 24 hrs after signing papers to cancel the deal I just wanted to keep my car and the sales manager said to late. Some how I don't believe the funding went through in the short of time. I could tell he wasn't even going to try and cancel the deal. So I went back a few days later to talk to the gm of sales and he basically told me he could take it back but he wasn't going to because he didn't want to take a hit on the truck and he basically didn't give a shit how I felt. He said he doesn't matter to him if I ever came back there to buy a vehicle and that to just deal with what I bought even though I didn't want it and I had come in right after signing to cancel. I have done my research and they can cancel the deal and take it back at any point. But like I said great west doesn't care About customer service all they care About is getting you in get Your money and push you through finance As fast as possible. I will never deal with them again and I will do what ever I can to try and get my car back I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I know I probably won't get it back but I will put out as many reviews as I can so this doesn't happen to someone else. I hate that I am stuck with something I don't want but since they are money hungry ppl I know I will never get my car back. We left feeling angry and frustrated. We told the salesperson up front, and asked to be told if there was no chance that the budget could be met. The salesperson lead us on for well over an hour and then presented us with a vehicle cost that was 60% over budget! Beware once you put your deposit for the car you like, they are going to check your your credit records everyday to see if you are looking around with another dealer. They are very pushing in sales and extremely rude if you want your deposit back. We met with the general manager and he yelled at us and called us liars when we told him we knew that they were doing an illegal thing by checking our credit history everyday (even though I have proof of that) and they refused to give me my money back. Overall, we received the worst experience in this dealer and do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Service department at Great West Chrysler is all about how much money can be made and has nothing to do with performing the work correctly or providing customer service. After performing a transmission flush, my vehicle leaked transmission fluid all over my garage floor. We did not receive a call back from the dealership after we took the van back in. I am still waiting for the Service Manager to call. No apologies provided nor was a reason why this wasn't done correctly. Left us on hold for 45 minutes while waiting to find out if the vehicle was ready. Terrible customer service! read more

Don't fall for their slimy, misleading, private sales events! I was offered this as a preferred client. I drove an hour and a half, sat there for over 3 hours, to find out there were no rebates, or zero percent financing, no $500 cash rebate for coming in that day, etc. They actually wanted to charge me more for a 2014, than was MSRP on their website for a 2015. No explanation, I couldn't speak with the person who invited me as it probably came from some "call center". The person who was authorized to offer these cash incentives/rebates/financing terms, for the special 2 day private sale event, disappeared, and never offered me a thing, nor answered for any of his promises, that weren't offered. Worst ever dealings I have had with a company in so, so many years. I think if you want service and your Jeep is not new your their very last thought. Towed in my Jeep ($200 plus) Ordered the Cam sensor as I was advised (Had to bye the part first and then give to the service department (WTF). Mechanic was the only real person I spoke with, Paid to have them install the part and re-flash the ECM - right. Pushing $300 for the service and part. Picked up my Jeep and broke down about 14 km away. Managed with great patience to get it to my house. Called and spoke with their service and was told "yup we will call you back", called the next day! "Yup we will call you back", Called in what is the 3rd day and again "Yup we will call you back" So i have no work jeep as I needed to and love to drive overall. All i can say is the worst ever for me - break down from their repair and they cannot even call back. i sent a poor email to them and now its a full week later and still notta call, guess if you call they get pissed at you. "THANK GOD ABOVE I OWN A FORD F-150" - great west chrysler is awful and i would recommend you go elsewhere for you next Car or if you have a loved older Dodge i recommend you bye a "FORD" I cannot believe how overly pissed I am at this dealership, I am normally very calm as I am in the service industry and as a manager I would have fired a few from this location. each customer should be as important as the next, they do not do this?????? My rating of Great West Chrysler is Negative on all fronts other than this Mechanic who i am sure has no darn idea of what and who the hell he is working for. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this horrible dealership. Bought a used Ford diesel truck there and part of the selling features highlighted by the salesman were the new tires and fresh fender/rocker trim that they had installed on the truck. A year later I decided to remove the chrome fender and rocker trim as it was starting to look worn. And underneath? $4400 in damage that they covered up. A massive scratch/gouge from front fender all the way to the rear. Went into the dealership to complain and seek some kind of resolve only to be told that they must have bought it from auction like that and they weren't going to do anything about it. But if I wanted to trade it in on something I was free to do so. Gee thanks.... They did admit to installing the new fender trim. Which means they were aware of the damage as you literally would have to be blind not to see it and to install trim over top is blatantly wrong. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. read more

Hated my experiences there..... First car I bought from there still had cigarette burns in the seat. Took that car in to get the winter tires on and while I was waiting I got swarmed by salesmen. I stupidly got conveinced to buy a brand new car and as soon as I got home I had instant buyers remorse. They did not unwind the deal for me so now I'm stuck with this car. And to make matters worse I just looked in my back account and saw that they still took out the car loan payment from my old car I traded in. Dont ever go to this car dealership! They will try to play you and lie to you every step of the way! I put a deposit down on a Jeep so that it was held for me, was assured over and over again that the deposit was refundable. When I told them I had changed my mind about the vehicle they refused to give my deposit back and said I was lucky I wasnt being sued. When I asked to explain why it was that I wasnt getting my refund back i was sent a text saying thats how it is and that instead of enjoying today with the top off my Jeep here i was stressing and good luck with it! I cant believe they run their business this way lying to customers! Its been an awful nightmare! I hope this never happens to anyone else! read more

obnoxious pushy salesperson. took up way too much of our time, quoted a ridiculously high price and then sent unprofessional texts afterwards. he then called me and wouldn't let up even though i told him 3 times we simply we not interested and thought their prices too high. he would not stop talking so finally after telling him "thank you for calling, we are not interested, goodbye" 3 times, i hung up. he then sent me nasty text messages. i called the GM to complain and ensure this salesperson never contacts me again, he never bothered to call me back. read more
