The egg rolls and fried dumplings are great as is the crab cheese wontons. Their entrees, however, are bland. Their fried rice is terrible. If you go, stick to the appetizers. read more

Ever since this place opened (probably 10+ years) this has been my go to Chinese food restaurant BUT in the last couple of months the family who opened it sold it and now the food is terrible! Chicken bones and dark meat in the chicken dishes that are supposed to be made with boneless white meat, dirty string in a pork dish, hot and spicy dishes aren't hot or spicy and have almost no taste. Ordered online, told me order was taken and gave me a pickup time. Got to restaurant, they didn't have my order, never offered to take my order just walked off. Place was usually busy, last time I was there I was only customer. Think twice before ordering. You aren't going to get the food you expect. And the woman at counter doesn't even try to be nice. Acts like she could care less if you eat or go. I sure miss original owners. She was nice, always made sure your order was correct and even reminded me I would want hot mustard... Hard to find people like that anymore. read more

Got chicken lo mien and steamed dumplings this weekend. While eating the dumplings I found myself chewing on something hard, and at first thought it was a small piece of bone or cartilage. Pulled it out of my mouth and found a human fingernail clipping. My sanity hinges on it being a finger nail, and not a toe nail. Clearly someone finds it acceptable to preen themselves in the kitchen or around their ingredients. I've been a regular for 10 years. I'll be going somewhere else from now on. read more

1st I would like to say that great wall is our go to place for Chinese. But today, we ate there and they messed up half of our order meaning we did not receive half of our order. The owner was not there. She will be notified of this mistake. Every other time we have ordered from there she has always been there and is always so nice and even gives us extras. One of the best Chinese restaurants in town that is a family run business. I don't go to the common places like Panda express (even if we don't have one in valdosta), but try to go to the more authentic ones. The reason why this restaurant really stood out to me is because while I was eating there, I saw a 9 year old serving me drinks. Im guessing its because its the owners son but that really made me come back time and time again. Food here is pretty generic for Chinese restaurants but they don't cook anything bad. This means that they don't fail at common dishes like fried rice, egg rolls , or anything else. read more

This used to be my favorite place for Chinese take out. Today everything was scorched. I asked for broccoli to be added to the dish, and I was charged extra. That was no big deal. But I only received 3 small pieces of broccoli. Just as well. The scorch tastes was off-putting. Very disappointing. read more

I placed a takeout order asking for orange chicken, fried rice and 2 egg rolls. The chicken was dry, and had large chunks of orange peel in it. I received white rice, not the fried rice I ordered. And lastly the egg rolls were burned. I will not be returning. read more
