(It's admittedly classy to prop a bathroom door open with a bleach bottle, I must say. One of my favorite dishes from them is their general tso chicken. For the last year or so they fry the meat so hard that there is usually a piece on each piece of chicken that you have to remove from your mouth because you can't chew through the pieces. I bought something recently and the gravy was what looked like and tasted like tinted water when it was supposed to be a heavier gravy. Tonight though I was most disappointed. The fried rice which is typically fresh and light in color with vegetables, onions and eggs. This rice taste like a lightly greasy rice with maybe a few pieces of peas carrots and maybe a cube piece of an onion. The meat taste half fresh but the rice doesn't. We also ordered chicken on a stick. Under usual circumstances, they have the BEST chicken on a stick but tbe ones we purchased this evening was thin pieces with no flavor, none. I'm not sure what's happening but we can't continue to spend good money on bad food. When you try to reach out to inquire about the order they are almost argumentative. These are definitely not the folks that were there for years. Makes me sad because there isn't a restaurant nearby that has food that taste as good as theirs used to. Not sure if the restaurant in Front Royal has gone down hill. I'll probably give them another chance in a bit and if the quality is still bad, I'll have to pass on them from now on. Sad situation

The food was fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.The building is unassuming from the outside and the interior is relaxed and informal. As one person said, "It ain't fancy but it's GOOD!"

I had to grab some groceries and noticed China Wok in the same shopping plaza & saw that it has decent reviews. I spoke a gentleman who was just departing as I was walking in & he remarked that the restaurant is pretty decent as he eats there from time to time when visiting family. The plaza is pretty close to I-81 and has plenty of parking - and I can pretty well guarantee you that it's better than McDonalds, KFC, or Wendy's! I decided on the Seafood Delight - which was amazing. Shrimp, lobster, scallops, and crab with vegetables and white rice. The manager and chef were quite nice, and though sparse they had a small dining area which was better than eating in my hotel room. Apologies for the terrible photo, I was hungry and HATE photographing my food so I rushed the process and inadvertently took a substandard pic.

The order window had glass in front of it (probably from Covid days). The young person behind the glass was speaking thru the microphone, they took my order. I was told 10 minutes, so I made some calls while I waited. When I got back to my hotel room I had my sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was superb! The sweet & sour chicken was ok. The pieces of chicken were stringy and unedible .The rice was fine. $11 for this was a bummer.
