I ordered the chicken wings because I have been looking for good chicken wings too. Growing up in NYC, chicken wings and friend rice or French fries were always a favorite. Since leaving NYC, I have yet to find a place that can replicate the memories in my head. The rice was good, it felt slightly under salted. The chicken wings I would never have again, the fried chicken wings were flavorless. I was happy I took some hot sauce.

EVERYTHING was well seasoned and highly flavorful! We decided we would rather spend a few extra bucks and ALWAYS order from MamaLing than the Chinese competitors that line the strip malls through town. They are FAR superior and we always get great food, rather eating in or out. Looking forward to my next trip to Mamalings! My only criticism is I wished they opened a little earlier in the day. We have busy evenings and it's nice to feed everyone before practices. Thankfully, they allow takeout orders starting at 4:30. However, 3:00 would be great! We love Mamalings! Great service too!

The menu has a good variety for everyone. I am personally not a fan of raw fish due to the texture. I instead went with the veggie roll. My friend ordered three different specialty rolls and it came out on a giant dragon dish. The servers were constantly refilling our water without even asking. Someone had come in with a dog in a carrier, but the server instantly told them they could not eat inside. I feel like that is a sign that someone truly knows what they're doing. I cannot wait to go back and try more sushi.

Our server was on point as usual, took our drink order which was Cabernet Sauvignon wine for both of us. When he brought our drinks we ordered our food which was Bang Bang Shrimp, Chefs roll of choice, Manhattan roll and Mexican roll. The outdoor dining was great with the sun shining. We received the Bang Bang Shrimp first, which was big and delicious (still not sure how they are able to prepare as a circle). The rolls were brought out in a unique dragon platter. I don't know what the Chef's Choice was but it was absolutely delicious, it had avocado and cream cheese but not sure if tuna or salmon with masago on top. The Manhattan and Mexican rolls were just as fresh and delicious!

I specified several times that I did NOT want my food to be spicy. I asked if she could make the Singapore Mei Fun not spicy and she said "yes, no problem". I also ordered the combination platter of Chicken with Cashew Nuts. I have ordered both of these dishes throughout my lifetime in other restaurants and never had an issue. We could not eat the Mei Fun as it was spicy and absolutely disgusting. It was full of curry and dry. The chicken entree was just a container full or rice with a bunch of cashew nuts on top and no chicken. What made things worse is the fact that when I called, the woman who took my order said that her customers who ask for the Mei Fun not spicy have never complained and as for the Chicken entree, "this is how we have always made it". I explained to her that if she could not make the Mei Fun mild in flavor, I would have gladly picked something else when ordering. I also reminded her that I was looking forward to having chicken in my entree. The bottom line is she never offered a credit for future dishes nor did she care. She was rude in her responses and showed me that she was only interested in getting my money and not whether I liked and was satisfied with the food. We did order soup and dumplings as well. The meat in the dumplings had a funny taste to it but I did not say anything about it. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. There is no ambiance there. It is a takeout place.
