READ UPDATE BELOW : First time there...4 stars on the only thing I ordered from the grill ... Shrimp Toast... Which sadly is quite elusive at many Chinese restaurants... I was greeted upon entry by a stoic Asian man... never less, greeted which was nice for a change...my order was ready expeditiously without much wait. I asked for tartar sauce and wasn't charged an upcharge... again, very nice. All the above was very nice but what wasn't so nice was all the .... " visible " films of grease and dust .... throughout the place... and...broken floor tiling in the open kitchen. Aside from the esthetics, it gives off sanitary concerns and looks dirty ,unsightly for a restaurant...for that reason I am glad I only ordered the Shrimp Toast which was quite good in spite of UPDATE: Everything that taste good ain't good for you....a few HOURS LATER after eating the food, shrimp toast to be specific which was the only thing I ate all day I might add.... I began to get violently ill with nausea and a severe stomachache with painful stomach cramps. Eat here at your own risk

Not my first choice for Chinese food but it is edible. Lackluster flavors, skimping on the ingredients and poor execution will prevent me from coming back. Our "House Special" mai fun was bland and missing something - ingredients. The couple of shrimp we found seemed to be shrimp cocktail sized 110-120? We could not find much else. It was like an order of mai fun noodles.‍ The General Tso Chicken was not "extra spicy" and was tough to chew. The batter on the chicken was more like mortar than tempura. It would put Cluck U's extra crispy chicken to shame. Everything else was passable. Wonton soup and Boneless Spareribs. 2 safe bets. At least I know what NOT to order next time. They are closed on Sundays. I really liked the counter person and the customer service provided. I wish that I liked the food as much.

OK, it's a Chinese takeout place. TAKEOUT and delivery. Pay no attention to the four tiny tables with eight chairs, it's a takeout place! So the only factors are: the food; the takeout service; and the delivery service. I don't care if the guy behind the counter has a scowl on his face. I really don't. You might be scowling too, if you were working in a totally foreign land where you just knew enough of the language to get by selling burgers... Think about it. I care about the food, and Great Wall's is plenty good. We've had egg foo young, couple of shrimp preparations, fried rice, eggrolls, and the all important sesame cold noodles. To me, this is the dish that makes or breaks a Chinese restaurant and they do 'em right here. Everything was above average. When I ordered for pick up, the food was hot and ready to go at the promised time when I arrived. When we ordered delivery, it was estimated at 45 to 60 minutes. He was at the door in 55. This on a Friday evening. Total satisfaction. Also must point out that they gave us a plentiful supply of all the Chinese sauces - including mustard! Plus fortune cookies, and we didn't have to even ask. Oh yeah, it's in a little shopping center so parking should not be an issue. No complaints here.

Cantonese Noodle Soup. Filled to the brim with goodies.

I will start out by saying I hated this place at one point and time. Nay, I loathed it. That was then, this is now. After a co-worker told me about the ownership change and some of their new offerinings I decided to give it another shot. I have only tried the Cantonese noodle soup bowl so far and it's really really really good. Start off with one of 6 different noodles (I go for the spinach but the soba is a close second) you choose from a whole slew of combos on top. Cantonese pork, shrimp, dumplings and/or wontons. Top it off with warm broth and some hot sauce and you are good to go. They are all delicious. We usually order for delivery and it's always lightning fast. The delivery guys are always pleasant and friendly. I'm glad I gave then another shot. Once I try some other staples I'll review again. Hopefully it'll be as good as the noodle soup!

This place is literally a hit or miss. When you first walk in your greeted with a harsh stare. The guy who takes your order, makes you feel like a bother. I just assume he had a bad day and gave them another try. After the 3rd time I've come to realize his face is just stuck that way. I stopped going to them for a while because they must've change their cook. But recently a friend of mine ordered the lunch special of broccoli with garlic sauce. She offered to share because it came with a soup and that was too much to eat alone. However, I was reluctant to give it a try knowing where she had ordered. But it look, smell and tasted good. Unfortunately, we all know food always taste better when it's someone else's. I'm just hoping if I decide to give them another try it taste as good as hers.

By far the worst chinese food I've ever had in my life! Look at this garbage

I get food from here all the time. It's always good. I've never had something bad I also think the prices are fair especially in this time.

The staff was beyond rude! The food had no flavor. The dept of health needs to spot check this place.

We wanted to go to an old school eat in Chinese restaurant but didn't feel like travelling far so…read morewe stumbled upon this gem. We were served tea and crispy noodles with duck sauce immediately when we sat. The tea was very good. Drinks are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. My cosmo and my husband's Zobie were $13.00 each. The menu is extensive. It's authentic but they have classic dishes also. We had the tangerine beef and general tso's chicken. The beef was good, but the chicken dish was excellent and white meat only. The portions are huge so next time we will probably split a meat dish and a noodle dish. The larger round tables have a lazy Susan in the center and would be perfect for a group to share. Restaurant was clean and bright. You can tell it used to be a diner but we didn't care about that. I'm looking forward to going back.

Another wonderful meal tonight at one of our favorite Long Island spots--we've been coming here…read moreregularly since last year, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming and warm, but Tiffany truly stands out. She is gracious, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful--someone who remembers you and makes you feel like more than just a table. Tonight, when things slowed down a bit, we had the chance to catch up and share a few laughs, which made the evening feel even more special. As for the food, it was just as impressive. I had the twin lobster with ginger and scallion over E-Fu noodles--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered his usual--eggs with mixed vegetables--which isn't on the menu, but they always accommodate when possible. He thoroughly enjoyed it, as he always does. Fresh, delicious food paired with standout, heartfelt service is exactly why we keep coming back. This place has truly become one of our regular favorites.
