The new company is trying to get funds to return deposits unsuccessfully, so the tenants have to wait until the company gets funds. Completely unacceptable. Lease states "We'll mail you your security deposit refund and itemized accounting of any deductions, no later than 30 days after surrender or abandonment, unless laws provide otherwise."

They just recently got it to where you can pay your rent online and the agency that handles their online payments also reports them to the credit bureaus.
