I'm told this place has fair prices and my research into other local places would prove that true. However, hours are as awkward as the owner who hovers over while you do your work. He was very fair with his pricing and was an excellent teacher. As an art teacher currently, Ken offers extra matting material and always is looking for a way to support the local students and artists of the community! He has a great intimate gallery within the space and a variety of works for sale! In addition, I get all of my framing work done there. He is an artist himself, helping with the choosing of matte color and framing. His work is fantastic and he is always willing to help you stay within your budget and get the best quality frame job! He is also timely with his work! I won't go anywhere else for my framing needs!

Excellent service by Ari @ Floor & Decor location in Lombard, IL, who was very knowledgeable,…read morehelpful and nice. I was purchasing flooring, which Ari provided the specs for flooring that most suitable me. Based on footage I have, Ari calculated the # of boxes I would need for one room. Ari recommended the type of floor padding for sound reduction. (Advised on variations of floor padding for residential vs concrete businesses). I'll be back for additional home renovation purchases and will surely look for Ari's help again. This store is stocked with inventory for new homes or renovations. Great place to shop for all your home needs. (This review is for the Lombard, IL location).

Honestly, everyone there was friendly and attentive, including the Assistant Manager Brian. I didn't love having to drive to Lombard when there's an F&D a few miles from me but the four tile selections I was leaning towards were all available in Lombard and not any other Chicago-land store. It made sense to go to the location that had the most in-stock options. Ultimately I bought a tile that I didn't come across when I browsed online so it was worth the trip. More options and even better service than the Addison location...at least for me. Again, kudos to Demetrius who actually cared that I found what I needed.

He was so happy with her playfulness and attention while my husband and I got to pay more attention to shopping. The best part of this whole experience was there was no request to have Andrea hang with our little one. She jumped at the chance to hang with him and it was such a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend this location and Andrea for your mattress needs!!!!!!

We live in a very consumer driven society. We buy. We get rid of. We buy. We give to someone else…read more That's the beauty of Goodwill. You get to be the beneficiary of someone else's consumerism. About 75% of my wardrobe is from Goodwill stores. Right down to my Old Navy down feather coat. They partner with Target stores so occasionally you'll find new Mossimo brand clothing here. I've even purchased a brand new Kitchenaid food processor from a Goodwill. Not all Goodwills are created equal. The location here is superb in my opinion. They have a pretty good sized cd, dvd and book section. Love that. Their selection of women's clothing is vast. Sweaters usually run about $4.99. Items are usually in decent shape too. This Goodwill is worth a visit.

Goodwill Has Lost Sight of Its Mission…read more Have you ever checked out the executive salaries at Goodwill Industries International? Before donating, consider these 2023 figures--especially as prices continue to skyrocket in 2025 and beyond: Jacqueline Hallberg, President & CEO: $820,541 Jeffrey Docalavich, Assistant Treasurer: $510,487 Basil Buchko, Assistant Secretary: $351,216 Brenda Sanders, Director: $120,696 Visit charitynavigator.com to see how Goodwill is performing today. Despite eliminating discounts and reducing employee hours in 2025--claiming "profits were down"--executive compensation remains untouched. Meanwhile, donated items are priced at outrageous levels, even higher than on eBay! This undermines the very spirit of charity. Where are donations truly going? When Goodwill prioritizes high executive salaries and excessive pricing over its mission to help, I can't support them any longer. It's clear: they've lost sight of their mission.
