I love this bookstore. This is an "old school" used bookstore. If you love stacks of books to sift…read morethrough and explore, finding "hidden reading pleasures," the wonderful aroma of old books and affordable prices - this is the place. It reminds me of bookstores I used to visit 25 years ago, the kind you can no longer find in the age of HPB. The owner is great, nice guy who does this on a hobby level, enjoys talking about books and runs an interesting store that every book lover should visit.

This is DeKalb's only independent bookstore other than the adult one. Still, they have an awful lot of books packed into a small space, and the proprietor - a retired professor who's just looking to break even - is very helpful. He'll help you find what you're looking for, and if you're interested in something there isn't much demand for - such as books in French - he may be able, if you call ahead, to grab some out of storage for you. Prices are reasonable.
