I booked a tour with Craig for mid-October. 3-4 days later, Montana was listed as one of the top five states with the highest increase in COVID rates. Our resort in Anaconda reduced/cancelled amenities and we made the decision to postpone our trip til spring or summer. After multiple unanswered calls, I finally spoke with Craig's wife who explained it was against their policy to refund deposits within 30 days. I responded I had only booked the trip a few days earlier and hoped they could make an exception. She said she would speak to the guide as it was up to him and get back to me. Finally, Craig responded via e-mail that he would not refund my deposit. I would have no problem with this response if I had booked a trip 6 months prior and his guide had turned down other trips because he was booked with me, but this was not the case. Obviously, he has all the business he wants or can handle and Customer Service/Care is not a priority for him. When I go next year, I will book with one of the other outfitters! read more
