We ran into a problem with the AC drain overflowing to our kitchen ceiling in the second floor. We called Tarvin for help as we needed someone soon. Dave came over the next day and we got service at a reasonable price. Dave not only fixed our problem but spent time helping us figure out how to prevent the issue from happening again. He took us step by step through the process and even explained that it's actually pretty normal to have some buildup in the pvc pipes from dripping water lines. This was above and beyond and much appreciated. And we weren't gouged the service. When this happened we were concerned because we have had bad experiences with plumbers in the past. Tarvin is our go to plumber from here on out.

My system was running well and did not need any service, when the Technician left, my system was not operating the same as when he started, My Central Air was not cooling my house and the system blower sounded different. I have lived in my house long enough to know how it sounds and feels, The person who worked on my system created the problem in order to create a service call and an unnecessary bill for a problem that he inserted. This is not the way to maintain customers or good reviews. If your service is not broken, the service person should not be out generating revenue. I was very concerned when he was measuring the amount of Freon as I heard a loud hiss as the vapors were being released. BTW, the same service person bypassed a safety cut-off device in my furnace last winter and, I had to buy the electrical device and reinstall it for the safety of my home. I am very dissatisfied with their procedures.

I discovered a flooded basement on a Friday afternoon after a heavy rain that continued for days. Calloway Restoration came out right away and verified the water was flowing in from the sump and the sump pump was not running and all of the emergency 24 hour plumbers were booked through the weekend and I had to stop the rising water and replace the pump ASAP so that we could start removing standing water, carpets and drywall and start drying out with fans before mold set in. Max answered first thing Saturday morning and was sympathetic to my needs even though I was not an existing customer when may people were in dire need for similar situations. He sent Jake out within the hour and he stayed as long as it took to replace my sump pump and evaluate and clean out the discharge line to keep more water from coming in the basement. Jake showed me what to look out for to keep the pump from getting damaged and keep water out of the basement until they could return to complete the work after taking care of the critical repair to get water pumping out of my basement before the next big rainfalls in the forecast. They returned the following week to complete and underground discharge line repair and extension and to clean gravel from the check valve and finish sealing up the sump/radon fan pit and confirmed optimal function of the primary and battery backup sump pump. They helped me out in my time of need and I never felt like they took advantage in any way with fair pricing and prompt and excellent service. I had been looking for a good go to plumber with leas than optimal service from past plumbers and Hofmeyer Max Plumbing definitely fits the bill and will be my go to plumber from here on and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any friends and family and I am grateful that they were recommended to me. Two issues: 1 - He failed to reconnect the drain from my stationary tub/washing machine. I can only chalk this up to incompetence because he had to cut this pipe to begin with. It just came to an end under the floor! Of course I didn't find this out until after water overflowed the stationary tub and the floor was dug up to find the issue. After paying another company (I no longer trusted this guy) to fix it, Casson refused to pay the cost for the fix - he only referred me to his insurance company who only offered to cover about 25% of the cost. (In addition to this, the 2nd company I hired identified 2 other shortcuts this guy took which could have caused me problems down the line.) 2 - Came home one day not long after the hot water heater was installed and smelled gas.
