I went to Great Clips on Greenway and the 303 to get my hair cut. When I walked in I was immediately greated by a stylist by the Elana. She took forever to get me checked in because she doesn't understand common English or simple directions no matter how simplified you possibly make them. Finally got it figured out. She brought me to her chair and finally got my hair cut. She messed it up really bad and became very rude and disrespectful because she couldn't understand how to cut it correctly and doesn't understand how to cut hair properly by any means. She is very hard to understand and doesn't even seem like she knows what she is doing by any means. She was very rude and disrespectful to the other employees that tried to assist her in getting the issue corrected and hair cut correctly. I Had to have hair fixed by another person at a different location because I could no longer stand her attitude and no trust my hair to be cut correctly at this location. So now I take my family to a different salon entirely. I hope this review is helpful. read more

My father had gone in there today 6/27/22 to get a haircut. He was the only one in line and checked in online. Apparently there were 4 hairdressers available. One was one break, two couldn't help them because they had to go to the store and one was just sitting around on her phone. No apologies or anything which caused my father to walk out. Never had a problem myself but if this is how they conduct business, not even acknowledging a customer is there, maybe it's time to get a haircut elsewhere. read more

My second time going to Great Clips at Prasada was very disturbing. After showing the stylist a picture of what I wanted my hair cut like and telling her I wanted the front left as long as the sides, with no bangs, she proceeded to cut the top in a bowl cut. Gave me bangs and cut the back in a wedge. All of which I expressly said not to do. The sides were left without any layering at all and looked like dog ears. I had to go home and call around to have my hair recut, SHORTER, to blend in. There were also several pieces hanging an inch and a half longer than the rest which the Great Clips stylist had not combed out from behind my ears. All in all a disaster! "Linda" told me several times during the process what a good stylist she was and how she was going to 'fix' me. I do not recommend this salon ... I enjoy coming to this Great Clips because the people that work there are friendly and usually really quick. I get there are crowds or people that need a lot of help slowing everything down...not their fault. My biggest complaint is it is always HOT in this place. Maybe since the building is east west facing, the big windows, so close to the 303....I don't know but always hot in here! I feel bad for the people that work in it as I am generally sweating in the 15-20 mins it takes me to enter, get checked in, my hair cut and pay. She's always given me a great cut, and is a real sweet lady. However, she is also the district manager for Great Clips, so she doesn't cut hair as often as she used to. I have had the best experiences at this Great Clips. Was going to Linda for many visits for a very short pixie cut. I haven't been in a few months because I am now trying to grow my hair out a little bit, but went in today as I was nearing the mullet point, and Mary was working and she trimmed my overgrown pixie perfectly. Woo Hoo!!! Linda did a fabulous job while I was going super razored and short, and now that I might be transitioning into a shaggier pixie or maybe a Bob if I can handle the grow out phase, Mary did a superb job. On Sunday 1/30/22 I went with my spouse and daughter to get a haircut. We signed in online @1215 and were told that it would be about an hour. We were supposed to get a text when we were up this never happened. We showed up at 1315(1 hour as projected.) We had to wait an additional 45 min. and others that signed in online were being taken. My wife spoke to one of the stylist. She was was very rude and stated you just need to wait your turn yet one of her friends came in and she took her immediately. I found this so inappropriate that I left and went somewhere else. If asked I will encourage all to avoid this location due to the unprofessional behavior and the rude behavior we encountered. read more

Linda was my stylist. She was not friendly at all, brought me back to her dirty station then proceeded to spray cleaner everywhere in front of me. After putting on my cape, she left to start doing someone else's haircut. Finally she started my haircut and only partially wet my hair which will cause it to be uneven when it dries, then she sprayed the water right in my face. When I asked her to just wet it at the sink she said no. I finally was fed up and decided I was done. She brought me to the front to check me out, as I still paid for my service that was barely done. Then when I asked for a receipt she didn't want to give it to me, and said (with an attitude) "I don't know what's wrong I gave you a good haircut, just go somewhere else" This place is closest to my house, but I won't be back to this location. Absolutely great experience. After moving here from Colorado took me a little while to find a place I liked, couldn't believe it was at a Great Clips as I have always been a barber man. First off never had a problem with GC till went to this location. Couldn't use the bathroom when I brought my 4 year old twins in they said they are closed ! The manager rude , no one there was friendly at all I have my kids with me you think they would be friendly to them maybe make Them feel comfortable . My daughters hair is chopped and I asked for shoulder length it's now chin length and she's sad about it , my sons hair is okay kind of choppy on top fade not great either so all around horrible read more

She is always extremely respectful and attentive to everything that needs to get done, as well as her working area always staying clean and tidy. Usually I take the kids to the barber and I go to a different salon because this parking lot alone is a nightmare to get in and out. When you walk in they ask if you've checked in online which I don't because I typically don't stop here. Luckily no one else checked in or you have to wait. There were a few people waiting for their kids to get done and their other kids were running wild in the waiting area including blocking the door when people walked in including me. If parents don't say something regarding that I feel the employees should. My son and I were called pretty quickly. My son was happy with his cut and mine was ok as well although I wish the person cutting my hair was a bit more friendly. Literally about one sentence was said until right before we were done they actually were a bit more friendly. It makes for an awkward time sitting in silence. The price is cheap at about $14. With that being said if you're looking for fancy, hair dyes or things like that you're better off at a salon. read more

I was very disappointed with how the appointment scheduling was handled at this location. I checked in at around 9 AM and I arrived about two minutes before the notification for my timeslot. I went in for a new do! I am very scared of hair dressers in general because I've only had bad experiences since my mom passed away. She was an excellent hair stylist for several years. Anyway I asked for some books to review to choose my new look. The lady was great. I was nervous and she was great making me feel comfortable. I looked through them showed her what I wanted and she started off long because I asked for short stacked bob in back and long in the front with side bangs. Turned out great! I have been getting my hair cut here for about 3/4 years now and have never had an experience that was bad until the yesterday when I got my hair cut. My hair was collarbone length and ended up way shorter than I wanted it. My hair not only shorter now, but also completely noticeable with the unevenness of the length. When I walked in the store yesterday I was not greeted by one person, I sat in a chair waiting as I did not want to interrupt. As I was sitting in the chair, one of the stylists and her customer were checking out. The stylist seemed to be rude to this older woman because she was looking for a coupon that wasn't expired, however the stylist checking her out kept being rude. I finally checked in and got seated in the chair. Never once have I had one of the stylist not start with a piece of my front hair to check the length. After coming here for 3/4 years, I will not be returning after this last experience. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. If you are a woman stay far away from this place. A simple trim for my daughter turned into a terrible botched hair cut. I will say this the manager was kind. However, the "oh communication must have lacked somewhere " was a terrible excuse. My spouse and I went in for a haircut and the staff barley even acknowledged us. The man cutting our hair was not super friendly and barley spoke to us. When we were done with our haircuts, he didn't show us them and just took the hair cape off and sent us on our way. We have usually had good experiences at other great clips and am not sure if it was just the specific staff member that we had trouble with or the entire store. I have been going to this salon since it opened. This is such a family orientated salon. Great environment. Customer service is outstanding. They appreciate return customers. They know you by name. Everyone is always smiling. Manager is always out and about in the store making sure it's running smoothly. I now take my son there regularly and they even know him by name.
