Not a professional and high-quality service as expected…read more I've been a client at Hair Artists for several years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I arrived on time for my appointment, but was asked (while en route) to come 45 minutes later due to the stylist running behind from a previous client. When I arrived, my scheduled wash, cut, and style was changed to a dry cut to "move things along." While this was presented as a small savings, it ultimately meant receiving less than what I had booked--without any real benefit to me. The entire appointment felt rushed, and I left feeling like I had to accommodate the salon's schedule rather than receive the level of care and attention expected from a high-quality, professional salon. This was especially frustrating given that the delay was caused by another client, yet the impact was passed on to me. This also wasn't my first experience with scheduling issues here, which made this visit more concerning. This salon is lowering its standard. Rethink your decision to go to this salon. It's expensive, and not worth the price.

Long-Time Client Left Feeling Undervalued and Underserved…read more I've been going to Hair Artists for nearly two years and have generally had positive experiences, which makes this most recent visit especially disappointing. Along with writing this review very difficult to write. On my way to my scheduled 1:00 PM appointment with Ren, I received a call asking me to arrive 45 minutes later because she was running behind. I later learned that the delay was due to the previous client arriving 45 minutes late. This was inconvenient for my schedule, so I called the salon to let them know I was already on my way. I was told they could "accommodate" me, which was frustrating, as I was the one arriving on time for my scheduled appointment. Before I even arrived, the situation had already created stress. Upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment would be changed from a wash, cut, and style to a dry cut so they could move things along more quickly. This was not what I had scheduled or wanted. Essentially, I was being asked to adjust my service to fit their schedule, with no real benefit to me. Nancy at the front desk mentioned, "We'll only charge you for the cut and blow dry--it's a $20 savings," but this did not reflect the experience I had booked or expected. In reality, it wasn't a true discount, as a blow-dry in place of a full style is already priced lower--at $20 cheaper --so while it may have sounded like a savings, it wasn't one. At that point, I felt like I had to accommodate the situation rather than receive the level of professional service I had booked. I came in expecting the time, attention to detail, and overall experience that have kept me returning to this salon. Instead, the appointment felt rushed and transactional, rather than thoughtful and client-focused. I ultimately agreed to the dry cut, even though I would have preferred the wet cut (as my hair was filthy). The experience felt hurried, and the quality reflected that. During the haircut, Ren told me that the previous client had arrived 45 minutes late and that she had just started her service when I arrived (on time), which raised the question of why that delay was passed on to me rather than managing her previous client differently. This is also not the first time I've experienced scheduling issues. At a prior visit, my appointment was delayed by 30 minutes because my stylist arrived late. Unfortunately, this pattern made this visit feel even more disappointing. What had previously been an enjoyable and satisfying experience felt stressful and frustrating this time. I left feeling as though I was the inconvenience rather than a valued client who had arrived on time and deserved the full service she had scheduled. I do want to acknowledge that the salon manager handled the situation professionally--my service was fully credited, an apology was given, and assurance was given that the issue would be addressed. I appreciate that effort. However, the overall experience was already impacted, and it has made me reconsider returning.

HORRIBLE Natural curly hair extensions done by Amy Ciotti..THIS HAIR HAD TO BE REMOVED WITH MY OWN…read moreHAIR. SHE IGNORED ME, BLAMED ME. Spent over 2000$ from may24-July 5th. I only enjoyed on a few occasions. Consult done over text. She supplied the hair claimed it was natural curly Indian hair virgin cuticle aligned. Installed 2rows. After install I asked was that enough hair, she insisted it was & my hair would blend on its own. She never styled my hair. Only brushed it. My hair color faded a week later and with not having enough hair I couldn't wear down. Hair reacted badly to redken. Spent several hours detangling. Would get super dry/wooly/shed. She continued to insist Indian hair is like &don't use redken again. Then she added 3rd row I AGAIN asked for her to cut to blend she refused saying I needed to train my hair/use hair spray. I AGAIN had to go back for my color and I told her about my concerns with the quality shedding/tangling asking her about the hair being cuticle aligned she insisted PERFECT LOCKS supplies quality hair & I asked AGAIN FOR IT TO BE BLENDED(CUT)She refused, dying it supposedly will fix it. Hair faded quickly again. I HAVE COARSE NATURAL CURLY HAIR I dont frequently wash my hair. She could be using cheap dye. I just know after a couple of washes, with having my hair covered no sun hitting it, definitely shouldn't be FADED. I ONLY USE THE BEST OF PRODUCTS. It's a shame how much was wasted on this trash hair...move up was July 5th she finally agreed to do a UCUT, entire cut with a razor. Not using scissors once. After she cut she had me put my head back in the bowl to wet and sat straight up and she sprayed leave in conditioner in and used a diffuser somewhat. No mouse curl cream. Didn't style my hair. She never did: I always wondered why she didn't style mine like she did the women in her reviews. And I paid her well and tipped her. It was like she was just treating me any kind of way. I knew it wasn't right. I had vacation less than 2 weeks away & had so much invested. I was so happy to finally have my hair blended/not have obvious embarrassing extensions. I wanted to trust her but she was treating me worse. There was an issue I noticed after driving home in the sunlight, my natural hair was black not matching. (Supposed to be dark brown) hair dye was on my face/ears, she doesn't supply remover wipes. I came straight home, got in the shower. After washing my face etc. getting my hair soaking wet. It got super dry. Hair mask couldn't help revive it. I tried combing it through it started DREADING UP. The hair was wrapping all around each other: like the cut being all different lengths(the lengths BEING DONE WITH A RAZOR EXPOSED WHAT THAT HAIR REALLY IS , THE TRUTH. ITS NOT ANYTHING AMY CLAIMED. She blamed me when I texted her. Said extensions weren't for me. But didn't respond back to remove them. I went to sleep with dreadlocks the size of baseballs. We tried for hours that night to get them out. I tried contacting her again Sunday, no answer. I went to another location and had to pay for attempt to detangle there they told me that hair is mixed with synthetic & is not Indian hair. They said I had to remove it immediately or I will loose even more of my hair. They made videos/pictures of the entire process. I spent total of 175$ there while Amy ignored me. Was humiliated while they saw her ignore me. They couldn't believe how much I spent on that hair. I was SCAMMED BIGTIME. Amy knew I was new in the area, worked long hours and had special events coming up and was basically at her mercy. She didn't do anything she claims to do on her website/intro other reviews and pics of other clients. I never once left that salon with my hair styled in a manner I could leave & take one picture of my hair. After researching more & more online I saw everyone else blended&styledincluded in the service. My hair should have been right the first time. Not only did she sew garbage hair in my head causing my own hair to be cut out of my head, she scammed me on services never doing any of those things that are necessary with extensions. EXTENSIONS ARE MEANT TO LOOK NATURAL NOT OBVIOUS. After this I got beautiful extensions REAL NATURAL CURLY ktip had them over a month haven't had one issue. They don't matt, dread, tangle, take hours of my time. I'm not wasting $$$ products just to make them manageable. That's quality hair. I don't recommend using this business unless you want to keep going back, giving your money away, don't let the location fool you like i did. I voiced my concerns with this hair right away and I was dismissed. But she kept taking my money.BE CAREFUL WHO U TRUST ANYONE CAN HAVE THEIR FRIENDS/best clients give them some good reviews.
