She has always been great at listening if I just want a trim- as well as when I plopped down in the chair and said "cut it short! And give me something a little artistic!". She never gives me a hard tie either for cutting some of my own hair to stretch out the time between haircuts (I'm a busy gal and making time to update my do is always a challenge with crazy my schedule.) Steph is only there on weekdays. It seemed like this last year she was the only person working there at all. They did just hire 2 new people as well so their hours should be back to normal soon.

I wasn't concerned about this as I scheduled this visit yesterday and had full intention to go in although i can see this being a challenge if it's scheduled out and something comes up. My stylist was Veronica, and she took ample time to ask me about what I wanted, how I liked my look and asked about a lot of nuance to ensure I got the look I wanted. She took her time and was willing to modify when I noticed I wanted it shorter. She was knowledgeable about fine hair, the products and different things likely impacting my hair. I appreciated this. The atmosphere of the salon was sort of bustling, many bodies moving about, a lot of chatter and noise. This isn't unexpected nor was it a bad thing but could be good to note if noise levels are hard for some people. The aesthetic of the salon was airy but chic. I appreciated the decor and the products used were interesting. I'm excited to see if they irritate my scalp (as some do) or if these will be products I'll be able to purchase and begin using regularly!

In my frustration, I called Briana and asked her if she could help me out. She readily made time for me that was convienient for me which was awesome. She scheduled me at the end of her day and spend almost an hour and a half of her own time - no charge to me - helping me with my hair. She showed me all sorts of styles and even washed my hair so I could blow dry and curl it on my own so I knew what I was capable of doing. Along with that - she left me with a hair clip, tons of bobby pins and even one of her brushes that I needed that she doesnt' really use much. I was overwhelmed. All of this for no charge. They text you when it should be about 1o min. When I was a bit antsy with their slow pace at 24 minutes (no urgency to catch up), and was finally seated at 29 minutes, I commented - CALMLY - that it was an inconvenience to get the text then spend that long waiting. She said "complain to corporate they designed the system." I said yeah and they will probably blame it on this store passing the buck back. After a couple more exchanges I said, could you simply say, we're sorry we made you wait? Whereupon she refused to continue with my haircut.
