It may technically be a beauty salon but they do great men's haircuts and I've actually gotten compliments from how my hair stays looking good even after I sleep on it. The inside is to me the nicest salon I'v ever been in, extremely clean and open. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing from the moment you walk in. I had herd from a friend that Luxeva had just opened and was offering opening special prices, (men's cut $10!) And I usually pay 25-35 for my cut, which is a lot. I will admit, I am EXTREMELY picky about who and how my hair is cut, and often won't settle to be happy with it until days later. I was at ease the moment I was greeted with a big warm smile as I was introduced to the newly opened salon: Luxeva, and the other two girls working that day. She was eager to get me started and there was no wait at all. From start to finish, she was very accommodating, always making sure I was comfortable. My greatest fear is a stylist that rushes, and this young woman had patience and a steady hand like an artist. I could only describe the style I wanted to change to. She knew exactly what to do and went right to work on the absolute PERFECT FADE!!! Every thing else was done with shears like a professional salon should. After the cut and dry was done she finished with a nice redken product. NEVER have I been impressed like this. My stylist expectations were blown away. I finally felt comfortable and at home in a salon, the staff was very real and friendly, I felt like the equipment was state of the art and I was in good hands. I inquired more about the salon and discovered that they provide ALL salon services, like any hair service, nails, body wax, excetera... Overall, I am very happy to have found a new salon home. You can't beat the price or the service. Oh by the way, you can pay with any type of card, but tips cannot be accepted on the card, be advised to bring cash. Lucilly i had enough to tip 100% :)

I've been going to her for 4 years, I used to get my face waxed because I have PCOS and I have a lot of facial hair and she would always make comments about how I should just go get laser, and it made me super insecure. She would complain about waxing my face when I literally paid her to do her job. And then i decided to wax my own face and just get my eyebrows done by her. Today I went to go get my eyebrows waxed at around 4 PM and I understand that it can get busy but as a service provider, your quality should always remain the same. Charging $25 for an eyebrow wax and messing up somebody's eyebrows is actually insane. I don't recommend you guys go to this place. I'm definitely going to find somebody else. I shouldn't cry after I get my eyebrows done because somebody didn't do their job right. As you can see before the service, my eyebrows were grown out and all they needed was be cleaned up. You can see the thickness and the shape. And after the service, you can see how she made them look uneven. The left eyebrow it's thinner in the front and the right eyebrow arch is completely different. She also made bald spots in my eyebrows. The eyebrows look nothing alike and my face looks unbalanced. I don't recommend this place at all, if I could give zero stars, I would! never coming back and I don't think you guys should go either $25 is absurd for this quality of service.

Got in right away so was happy about that. The stylist took me to a chair and asked what I wanted done. I said, I can't wait to get my roots done, it's been too long, apologized that my hair was dirty, and showed her a picture on my phone of what I wanted. I then said I also feel my dark is getting lighter than my actual hair so I'd like the dark a bit darker to match and some lights. She asked if I want it lighter around my face and asked if I'd like the color to my root in which I said yes to both and I would like a trim and layers around my face. She said she would get me a quote and walked away and came back and said $365. My hair is just past my shoulders and so I asked if that included a haircut. She said no. She said it's two colors so it's two bowls. $150 for the first and $85 for the second. I must have given her a strange look because she said let me go check with my manager. She walked away and came back and said she added wrong and gave me the quote of 265. I asked how much a hair cut would be and she said $85. I figured my birthday is coming up, let's do it and see if this will be my new salon I go to. She puts the color on and the foil is all around my face. I ask how long she had been working in the salon and she said one month. I ask her what just the root would cost figuring if I like her, once this grows out a little, I would come back in just to get the roots done. She said $85. A manager came over and said, You are getting some dark put in? I said, Yes making my dark darker and my light lighter, getting refreshed. She asked if I was getting a trim and I said yes just a trim. I was put under the heater and then taken back to get my hair washed. She then put a toner on and was massaging it into the top of my head for quite some time. She asked what color blond I wanted. I thought that was weird as I thought she was done with the color...was that the dark and she is taking me back to do the light I wondered. I said the same as the picture. She put the towel on my head and said I could go back to the chair. I held the towel on my head until I sat down and took it off. I was shocked to look in the mirror as the inch / inch and a half of white that grew in was still all the way around my face. She came back and asked what side do I part my hair. I looked at her shocked and asked, Are you done with my color? She said yes. I asked why nothing was done with my roots and she said that's a separate procedure that I didn't ask for. I said that's the main reason I came in here. She said, Want me to just blow it dry so I said ok and she blew it dry. Every salon I've ever been to does the highlights and low lights in foil and the touches up the roots and rest of the hair out of the foil with the base color. She questioned, Other than your roots how do you like it? I was baffled and couldn't even see anything other than the white left around my face so she said, I'll get my manager. I walk up to the desk and the manager and stylist come to the desk and don't say anything, they both just looked at me awkwardly. I said, Obviously there was a miscommunication. I asked who would come in and get their highlights and low lights done and get their white roots around their face not done. The manager said she just had someone come in today actually requesting that. I said to her if it was dark roots still, I could see that but not white around my face. I now still have to get my hair done, it doesn't look like my hair was done with all my white roots not even touched. The manager said, I can see that's not what you wanted. Well she could take you back and do your roots but we still would have to charge you $85. I was meeting friends for dinner and did not have the time. I had to go buy some powder root touch up after leaving a salon after almost paying $300 to get my hair done. How does that make sense? You would think the stylist doing my hair, seeing how bad the roots looked would clarify that I want nothing done with the roots. I was hopeful going in but still can't comprehend that a professional stylist would think anyone would want blond and dark brown highlights and low lights all done and keep the white growth so it doesn't look like your hair has been done. So disappointed.
