She asked me questions about my color preferences and then before she cut she made sure she knew what I wanted. After she finished, she let me run my fingers through it and pick out spots that needed tweaking. As someone who has short hair, this is so important. She didn't even think twice about my hair neurosis. I left the salon today looking better than I have in months and the price was so reasonable. There is another stylist in the shop, Cindy, whom I haven't been to, but I would trust her as well. They are getting ready to introduce a new line of styling products that I'm excited to try. They let me play in the samples and put them in my hair to see how they felt. I love this salon and how casual it is. They have tons of experience and really value their customers. I really don't like giving places bad reviews but the service I got for my FIRST visit was completely unacceptable. 1. The stylist I scheduled with was literally 15 minutes late to our appointment because she was out at her car talking to her boyfriend.. 2. I was getting color treatment (low lights). She left me sitting in the dryer area for over 35 minutes *past* when the dryer timer went off. My phone died in that time because I was waiting so long. Why? Because she was too busy talking to another client about coronavirus. I actually thought she forgot about me. I was about to go get her when she came back to me. 3. After this appointment, my hair was very damaged. Probably because I was left with dye in my hair so long. It fell out in clumps for weeks after. I've had my hair dyed many times in the past and this has never ever happened to me. No professional stylist has EVER left me that long. I don't care that she had another client.. it's whatever. Make your money. But for Christ's sake, don't stand there and talk to them for 20 minutes when you have another client with chemicals sitting in their hair. I tipped her regardless because I'm not an asshole. But I'm never coming back. Worst hair appointment ever.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to get back to a normal color. She really knows what she is doing and although we couldn't get me back to my natural without really damaging my hair she got me to a very pretty color that fits my skin tone and my hair is still healthy. Stephanie was honest and upfront with me about everything. She let me know that the hair color I wanted was going to require maintenance to make sure that I was aware. She was honest in the condition of my hair and gave me suggestions on products that would help (best part is that she did not push these products on me, it was a genuine suggestion). She is very personable and easy to get along with, the conversation was easy, which is something that is important to me. The hair color and hair cut I received was perfect, exactly what I asked for!
