1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed with Great Clips and Supervisor Duron On September 7th, I came in for a haircut and they completely messed up my sideburns. I told them at the time that once they grew back, I'd return so they could realign and fix them. Fast forward to today -- I went back to have that corrected, and the experience was beyond disappointing. Duron, who identified herself as the supervisor, was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of understanding that I was simply following up on an issue from my last visit, she made sarcastic and smart remarks about me coming back a month later -- as if I don't have a life or things to do. I explained I've been busy, but she continued to make a joke out of it, which I found very insulting. I've been a loyal Great Clips customer for over 12 years, and I have never been treated this poorly. All I asked was to fix the sideburns that were originally done wrong -- something that should have been simple and handled with respect. Instead, Duron showed a terrible attitude, and when I called back to speak with another supervisor, she hung up on me. This is completely unacceptable customer service. I will not be returning to Great Clips after this experience. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, not mocked or dismissed. I truly hope someone from upper management reaches out to resolve this, because this kind of behavior ruins the trust of long-time loyal customers like myself. read more

I can't believe I tried to give this place another shot. If you want a fade do not go here they're terrified of cutting fades. They should not be offering mens hair cuts then. Most men get fades or at least a vast majority. I got another girl this time and she says "i'm not good at fades at all while she's cutting my hair and says it's the hardest haircut" . If you want a fade just pay the extra and go to a barbershop. No point in saving money if your haircut looks like crap. They've been open again since June 2nd but I've never been to this one. They had extra precautions in place and waiting room chairs were far apart and some were outside. One of the stylists came to greet me, asking me if I had checked in online, which I had not. She gathered some information from me, spelling my name incorrectly, and told me that the wait time would be about 20 minutes. There was a seat inside the building, so I used that in order to wait. A few people entered and were taken ahead of me, because they had completed the online check-in, so maybe there is a good reason to do it. In any case, DeDe took her time to understand how I wanted my quarantine hair to go away. She discussed options and kept asking my opinion. She was also friendly and engaging. In the end, I looked as though someone cared to do their best. The $16.00 wasn't steep for the amount of hair I was having cut away, and a $4.00 tip made it an even number. She paid attention to detail and took the time to double check and make sure the haircut was straight; a huge plus in my book. Why bother checking in online, getting a wait time, arriving before that time & still having to wait an additional 20-30 minutes longer than the giving wait time?
