I called to make my first appointment after waiting over a year since my last cut and they recommended Megan, saying she's particularly good with long hair like mine. Megan took the time to talk over what I was looking for and made me feel like I'd known her for years as soon as she was shampooing my hair. While their salon has plenty of products for sale, she explained which ones she was using but didn't push me to purchase anything like some salons too often do. I came in with inches upon inches of dead split ends on my hair and left with a bouncy, perfectly layered masterpiece that I was actually *gasp* HAPPY with! They told me they were just about to call me (which didn't feel genuine), and instead of offering a refund or even a partial compensation, they only said I could come back and they would "fix" it. But at that point, I had lost confidence in their technique and judgment. Mistakes happen -- I understand that. But when a salon uses your hair for trial-and-error without the skill to back it up, and then refuses to take accountability, it's not okay.
