I got the back of my hair trimmed today. Just a tiny portion of my head trimmed and one of the salon lady's tried to over charge me for a cut that I've gotten numerous time for only $6. She tried to charge me $17. And on top of that she told me that I had head lice. No big deal. Until I got home to treat my hair and my house and have my mom triple check my head. NO LICE. None whatsoever. She told me there was a bunch of eggs and bugs in my hair. AND THERE IS NOTHING. I have extremely bad anxiety and this very much ruined my entire day and freaked me out. FOR NOTHING. Wasted money on a treatment for nothing and will never be going back to this great clips. 100% DONT GO HERE. read more

I had the most bizarre hair cut of my life at this location. I went in for a shampoo and hair trim. Got my hair shampooed and requested about 2 inches be trimmed off my hair. It's a very simple cut as my hair is all one length and straight. My hair was cut. Then I was asked if I wanted it blow dried as well. Well, I don't plan on continuing my errands with sopping wet and uncombed hair, so clearly I want my hair dried. I can't even believe I was asked this question. Next my hair was dried. Without using a comb or brush. I couldn't believe someone would actually cut and dry my hair without using either of these basic tools, comb or brush, but it may have been strategic to prevent me from seeing just how bad my hair was cut. During the time my hair was being dried with no comb, I was told that there was a contest among the hairdressers for who could sell the most Big Sexy Hair products. I was also told where my hairdresser ranked in the contest. Hint: if you want to sell something, don't tell the potential buyer how YOU can benefit, you should tell them how THEY can benefit. Example: identify an issue with my hair or ask me my hair concerns, then demonstrate to me how a particular product can solve my needs. Lacking a brush in my car (whoops) I went about my errands with messy, un-brushed hair since I refused to pay $3.99 for the mini brushes sold at the counter. I pretty much feel like if I pay you for a shampoo and cut, brushing my hair out should be included in this price. But not when you go to Great Clips. After getting home and brushing my hair I notice a huge 3/4 to 1 inch difference on the left and right sides of my head. Even on one side only, there are massive differences in hair length. This made me deeply regret the 25% pity tip I left. I feel that all three of these things are inexcusable: reluctance to blow dry my hair, uneven cutting, not brushing or combing hair and leaving me messy hair. Okay so I can't remember the name of the girl who cut my hair...we had a conversation and I know our husbands used to work together. I just want to say, I can't speak for all the stylists unfortunately, but I don't think this place deserves such a low star rating. She did an incredible job on my hair! I have issues with dryness and breakage due to a thyroid issue and she was able to trim my hair and revive my layers in a way that gave my hair life again! I love my cut and actually want to wear my hair down. On another note, I love that Great Clips now offers online check in. For busy moms like me who get very little free time for showers, much less haircuts, this is a lifesaver! I will continue to get my hair cut there from now on and hopefully I can get the particular stylist's name so she can do my hair each time! read more

It's obvious that if the person cutting your hair is young, you get a good haircut, but if it's a someone who isn't that familiar with todays styles (ok boomer) ur gonna get a bad haircut, I asked for a fade but it looks VERY uneven and when I wanted for my front to be squared, it looks round, they explained how it was squared, but no, not square AT ALL, just round, never coming back a read more

I refuse to return to this specific location, but i can't speak for other great clips. I tagged along with my husband to get a hair cut and a beard trimming. The wait was so long, we had to waste an hour looking around game stop. When my husband was finally seated and receiving his hair cut the woman wasn't even paying any attention to what she was doing, for she was too busy talking to other workers. I was shocked his hair cut came out decent. However I was even more shocked that the woman didn't even touch his beard like we had paid for and let him walk out of the salon with his face and clothes still covered in lose hair. They don't need to know my email, or phone number, I buy shampoo at Walmart, my haircut is easy, if you don't know how I like it, I'll tell you. Used the app the check in and showed up 10min to 5pm. The immature girls inside thought it was funny to lock the doors and sit inside and laugh because they were ready to be closed. They have now lost my husband's and two kids twice a month business for this small town haircut place and I will be placing a call to corporate as well. read more

Great place if you are a guy wanting a cut ... Not so good if you are a girl with medium length, layered hair. Folks are friendly enough but skill set not very high. My cut was uneven and not all of my bangs were cut. Would not recommend for women. read more

Just got a haircut. Not to happy. Asked for a trim around the ears, clean up the neck and a little off the top. She did the reverse. The tech rushed my haircut when I noticed she took her time with other clients. I will go to the other great clips here in town. If she is working there I will turn around and leave. read more

Finally, a lady who cut my hair and I walked out feeling extremely satisfied! Candace is new to Great Clips and I'm really glad she was the one who cut my hair. She is very friendly and very good at her job. She will be the only one I will allow to cut my hair for as long as she is there. read more
