Been coming to this location for quite awhile, Roxanne worked at the Deer Valley location but now is the manager at the 67th and Beardsley location. She is easy to talk too, we both had kids at Sunrise Mountain HS, now our kids have graduated and have lives of their own. Roxanne will create a style for you, and is available most days. Quality excellent and quiet professional person. Recommends and gives suggestions if you need it. Definitely worth a recommendation. read more

Fantastic service, very friendly and talented. Rezi cut my hair and was warm and professional, highly recommend. Great clips has an app, download it to check in before you head there to avoid the wait time. I like that they keep of record of your haircut notes so if you forget what you requested last time they got you covered. Masks optional; an elderly individual (repeat customer) who went in before me requested his barber wear a mask for him and she tactfully obliged--how nice is that! Went in 3/29 for a boys haircut. Was in and out in 10 min and cost $20 with tip. I was thinking wow, that's some fast service and should've checked the cut before I got home. The back is crooked, the front is crooked and there's all kinds of long hairs where the fade isn't right and not enough passes were made on each guard to make sure it was even. Absolutely the worst hair cut I've ever experienced! Inga was rude, short, and ugly to me ... she bitched and complained about everything around her ... all because there were no notes in my file. As the crappy experience was winding down I eventually had to say, "look, it's not my fault there were zero notes in my file. I don't put the notes in, and I don't take the notes out." So, she finished by cutting my hair even shorter - "to even it out". I've had great experiences there in the past couple years. I came here twice , the first time I wanted to make my hair button curly, and the lady told me she will charge me $60 to do just button hair, so I walked out with unhappy, because I always go to all over the valley great clips they would charge me for $30 Today , I need hair cut about 3inches long and shampoo it , I checked online it's says 0 min wait , so I came in to the store the lady checked me in says there's 15 min wait ! So I waited 15min. Finally It's my turn, and I relized it's the same lady told me she would charge me $60 to curly my hair. So here is the drama start. She asked me how long I want to take it off my hair , I told her 3 inches and I need shampoo it ,then she say : "you will have to tell us when you check in, because there's people wait ! " I told her that I told the lady who checked me in that I need to shampoo it !then she say ok. She start to comb my hair, and start to complain about my hair is tangling. She keep saying "oh my gosh, my gosh do you comb your hair how often you wash your hair etc. " she was so rude ! That I was just about to walk out? I asked her " do you really don't want to cut my hair because I can just go to another great clips" after I said that she was stop been rude a little. After she cut my hair, she don't want to blow dry my hair, she just leave my hair wet. I told her to dry it for me . She say because there are people waiting ! She would not dry it for me unless I pay for it ! This is bullshit ~ I have been all the great clips in the valley never been treated like this ! I do not care about how many people are waiting ! One of the better Great Clips in the area. Clean, adequately staffed, and great service. My kids are always treated great at this location.

I came in to get a haircut. The stylist said, "You sure you want short? You not going to cry?" I looked at her, stunned. "Why would I cry?" "Sometimes the girls. They cry. I can do it but they cry." I told her I'd had short hair before. She kept staring at me, as though I was going to have to convince her I actually wanted my hair cut. It didn't exactly engender confidence. I've had short hair before. I wasn't afraid of short hair. I was afraid of the hatchet job I was now anticipating. I left and made an appointment elsewhere. Edited to add: got a pixie cut from a different salon in the same complex. 9 months later, I'm still going to that salon, and I haven't cried yet. ;) read more

My sister went in to get long layers and curtain bangs. She ended up with hair roughly 4-6 inches shorter, choppy layers, and face framing that was very thick and not blended into the rest of her hair AT ALL. She feels very upset and wishes she could just have her hair back. We went back in and Roxanne (I believe her name is) fixed what Nina did to her hair. Her hair is still much shorter than she wanted and she is very unhappy with it. There is nothing to do to fix what Nina did. read more

Just got a hair cut from Tracy. She did a great job, and is an expert hair stylist with 30 years experience. I told her I didn't really know how to style my hair or how to cut it with my receding hair line. she recommended several different options and helped my choose the best one. I felt comfortable because I knew I was in good hands and that I could trust her to do a good job. She sold me some hair product cuz I'm a push over but I'm glad she did because now I have a great styling gel. Even tho styling gel is expensive from these places. Over very impressed! Budget haircut. You get what you pay for. Nice enough people, not to hip. Just don't trust the style sence. Let's just say if you want to experiment with your hair, encourage you to direct or have a clear idea of you want. The team is very average in their own appearence. Not very happy. First, I got there and was the only one in line, there were 4 stylists working, all with clients. I could see right away that most of the time they are just chatting with clients, and cutting hair or styling super slow!! I had to wait around 15-20 minutes, and finally another stylist came from the back and took me. I only needed a simple hair trim, and she wet all of my hair, cut it and then barely dried it and said "ok, that's it". I told her to please dry my hair normal, so that I go out with DRY hair, not looking like I just got out of the shower. She gave me a surprised look and said "more dry?". I was like "Yes, please." So she did, and it took her another 7 minutes to dry my hair (it's shoulder length). Tells you how wet it was originally when she told me she was done. She also barely combed it afterwards, I definitely didn't look like I just went to a hair stylist. Don't think I will be back to this location. Not impressed at all. read more
