Started coming here about a year ago, been having Amanda or Cherry and Lisa cutting our hair. Been very satisfied with their work.

If I could give negative stars I would. I swear I was shaved with dirty clippers. It's been days and I have these like razor bumps on my scalp?? Literally only where the shaved part is. Not the rest of my hair. It's been itching and irritated. This has never happened before. I've had an undercut and been getting shaved for 10 years now. This has never happened to me before.... I'm literally at a loss for words. Not only was my hair botched. AGAIN. But I was cut with dirty clippers???!!! Like yall have to be joking.. read more

Save yourself the heartache and go to the one on sierra lakes. First time going here and they botched my 5 year old son's haircut. We've had 5 years of great haircuts and thanks to this NOT SO GREAT great clips, our son's head is a mess. Did you cut with your eyes closed? We asked for a TRIM on the top. Not a buzz. He's a comb over kid. Why would you take away his innocence like this and buzz off the top? HUGE EPIC FAIL. read more

Extremely kind staff! and very friendly vibe within the store. When I had come in I had requested long layers with face framing pieces. I usually get my hair cut at great cuts although at a different location and I have never had any complaints! However this great cuts I had specifically asked for the layers to be blended and seamless, to which the hair dresser said all layers are like that (which i was thinking sometimes people want shaggy hair cuts so those layers are more choppy? idk.) I didn't take a picture of the back of my head but my family told me that she didn't really layer my hair, more like razored the edges and that bottom just looked uneven and thin. Which it didn't feel like the usual haircut I get, but I figured maybe other people have different methods? I try not to question professionals. and im not sure if this piece counts as a face framing piece (the picture attached), but i feel that that piece was especially not blended. i usually hate leaving negative reviews but hopefully the hair dressers can read this and hopefully improve a little because other than that this hair dressers was super kind, friendly, and sweet. I also noticed all this after the appointment, which might have been my bad. read more

I'm usually pretty easygoing, but I was disappointed with my recent visit to Great Clips. I had signed in online and checked in when I arrived, but while I was waiting they took a walk-in customer who had not signed in and seated them before me. The whole point of online check-in is to help manage the wait and hold your place in line, so it was frustrating to see that not followed. It ended up making my wait longer than it should have been. I hope the staff can be more consistent about honoring the online check-in order in the future, because it really affects the customer experience. read more

Based on my past/present experiences coming here I've always had really positive experiences. I've come in for little trims and have never had an issue. I've come in for big changes and walk out sooo happy! The last time I went in I chopped 4-5 inches off of my hair and had layers added and a curtain bang, my favorite hair cut for sure. read more

Dawn is amazing, she is a master at her craft. Always has some nice music playing in the background as well.

I was told I had a 20 minute wait, only waited less than 10 minutes. Grace was amazing. She ensured that everything I needed was up to my liking. I am (69) yrs young. She was so polite, friendly & good at cutting hair. She asked was there anything else I needed, that was amazing. read more

1st time here, Sylvia did an amazing job cutting my hair in long layers, I have been looking for someone who know how to cut it the way I wanted. love my hair cut read more

Checked in online at 1:35pm (37mins wait time) Arrived in salon around 2pm with only one person waiting. Checked in but don't know where we are on the list because they didn't have their monitor on. Male customer that walked in 2 customers after us, DID NOT check in online but was added when he walked in. Then he was told by the one stylist that he was going to be next! My son didn't get called til after 2:20pm. Stylist that took my son told the family next to me that they were next after my son. Three customers later and that family was still waiting!! Turn on the monitor so we know where we are in line and that the stylist aren't taking other clients first because they are their "regulars!" If it's broken, then fix the damn thing! NO EXCUSES! read more

I like the fact that it's easy to make an appointment but unfortunately the stylist can not cut hair. I've given this place another try thinking it was just the stylist I had previously but no, I'm not sure if these women are still students or just starting out but you get what you pay for. read more

This is my 3rd review of this place. First two weren't great, but it seems they have turned things around. The online check-in worked great this time. I checked in online and showed up to say I arrived. I was 4th on the list on their screen. Got called by Jeannie within 5 minutes. She was very attentive to detail. Again, this is not a fancy salon or barber, so it's not THAT level of detail, but basic questions and requests were honored and it was a good result. The staff all seemed to get along and it was a relaxing, joke-filled atmosphere. Not the tenseness and arguing I saw last time. Lastly, they were blasting music and singing along to classic rock. Couldn't have asked for a better visit. Keep up the new positive atmosphere! read more

Absolutely terrible. I went in and asked for an inch-inch and a half trim, with curtain bangs and LIGHT layers, and that is not what I received. She cut about 3-4 inches, my bangs are completely straight, she cut a chunk near my ear that doesn't match the rest, and she thinned my haIr out. I don't know what scissors she used, but I started with thick hair, and now it's completely thin and not what I asked for. She didn't even ask to thin it out, she said it was "volumizing and toning". I specifically asked for the bangs to not be too short, and I can't put them behind my ear. Overall, My hair is thin and uneven, with botches everywhere and terrible "bangs". Absolutely terrible. read more

On my mom's 50th birthday I came in early to get a haircut from a lovely lady named DAWN. We chopped it up about my family and, her son/family it was the best conversation I've ever had with someone cutting my hair. such a sweet lady we need more people like you, Dawn cutting hair read more

Haven't had any issues yet, checked in from home and they sent me a text when to arrive. Today I arrived at 9am and their owner did not come to open the door. Online waitlist feature is useless for 9am customers. Store and waitlist both open at 9am. I always have to go to the store without checking in for 9 am appointment. But since customers don't even know if the owner will open the door on time. Went back back to the regular non franchisee hair dresser to make sure I will get timely service. read more

I came here with my son who is special needs to get his hair cut. Usually women work here and they have more patience than barber shops with men so I came here. As soon as I came in the sounds of the place were too overstimulating for him because he has autism. So he automatically started wanting to leave before he was even called back, once he was called back he kept saying no no I don't want my hair cut and the lady (Alexis ) raised her voice at me and said if he doesn't want his hair cut then I'm not going to cut his hair ! Of course he wouldn't want to go back after this experience. read more

Great experience! I've been overdue for a haircut due to COVID and watching the wait times at 2 locations close to home. They've been running long the last couple of weeks. Lucked out this rainy Saturday morning with no wait. Checked in on the app and walked right in. The salon was empty and CLEAN! Kristy greeted me right away, was wearing a mask, asked me the COVID questions, and took my temp. Taken right back to her chair and given a great cut in short order with pleasant conversation. Also scored a coupon on my receipt so will bring my little soon for a cut too. I'll happily return for my next haircut. After I got home and told the hubby about my great experience he said he's had Kristy cut his hair several times too and is always happy with her haircuts. Only have good things to say about this salon and the service I received from Kristy. We will be back! read more

Wow! Never in my life do I have to mandatory give my full name, address, and telephone number to get a haircut. Never in my life do I have to fill out paperwork not to give my full name, address, and telephone number for a haircut. Worst yet, the lady was totally rude that I did not give up my personal information. She gave a big sarcastic "Wow" when I told her I will go elsewhere. So I just walked. read more

Unskilled and careless workers. Doesn't Have minimum understanding of art of hairstyles. My Son needed a haircut yesterday and she completely botched it. Worst part is we are going to be a wedding on Saturday. Now my son is totally upset and angry. I even mentioned to her before she started cutting his hair with exact instructions. Still blow it. Saddest place to get awful haircuts. I really want to see more people speak up about their poorest quality of service for hi prices. read more

Just waisted my Sunday going here should have known why this place is always empty compared to other franchise's had placed an appointment for three but ended up getting two haircuts and they deleted the 3rd so one was skipped. Got here with 5 minutes left on my check in timer waited 15 minutes as four people got seated and I asked when my turn was next they said 25 minutes more I left and said fuck this place. It's not on them and the stylist and I apologize for my outburst in the salon but I'm frustrated with the check in process it has never been reliable and I hope it changes but I will not be going to a great clips anytime soon. Great clips is a crap shoot so I'm just going to stay away not worth the frustration read more

Very professional stylists. Very quick when you make an appointment online. They offer a discount to seniors.

Love coming to this location!! The stylists are always so attentive and know exactly the cut my boyfriend and I are looking for. I love their check in system as I usually return when its my time and they have my information ready so they won't confuse us with someone else. The best great clips location I've been to, would definitely recommend! The stylists have also recommended some good products to us that we now can't live without. Thanks guys! read more

So happy salons were able to open again. I'm so sorry I picked this location to take my toddler to. Our stylist (if you even want to call her that) was rude and insensitive. Don't bother taking your baby or toddler to get a haircut. I'm out $20 and my son has a messed up up haircut that will need to be fixed. They wouldn't let him sit on my lap so he had to sit in a booster chair alone and didn't want to sit. There aren't many "kid" specific salons and I don't have the luxury of cutting his hair myself. Thought it would be nice to support a local business and tip someone who has been out of work due to Covid. Take your money literally anywhere else!! read more

If I could rate a ZERO I would! Went Sunday to get my kid (age 5) simple boy's haircut. Shadow fade 1 on the bottom, scissor cut on top. It was clearly too hard of a haircut, the girl left my kid looking like he was hacked by a lawn mower. It was botched, scissor cut on top was uneven, there was a bald spot in the back from the clippers. It wasn't faded at ALL. I will NEVER be back here EVER again. It was my first visit and last. read more

This place always always always fucks up my kids hair cuts. Out of despiration we had to go here for a last minute cut since our regular place, our stylist was sick. This place is the absolute worst. Im upset with the haircuts enough to get on Yelp. I get it that working at a place like Great Clips is probably the first stop right out of cosmetology school, but man I wish the stylist knew how to cut hair. read more

If there was a 0 star rating, I would give this franchise that score. My wife came in on a Sunday where there is supposed to be walk in service as posted on the front door. 4 girls in the front and one of the girls said my wife would have to have an appointment.
